Words Of Truth has improved with every race especially after he was gelded following his first race in May when only 8th of 18 at Newbury. Three wins followed his latest in a Group 2 at Newbury when beating Into The Sky by a length.

I have to try and take on the favorite here, and why not with the A P O'Brien and Soumillon combo? This No Nay Never gelding put up a respectable effort when dropped to 5f in his last run in a Group 2 at Doncaster, but his two previous 6f runs/wins, including a Group 3 at The Curragh, entitle him to respect.

Has won three of its last four starts. Third of 8 last time out when running in a class 1 listed race. Dropped in class today, acts on any ground, good place chances at least.

Siren Suit made a pleasing return at Kempton 10 days ago when proving a ready winner up in trip. Back down to 6f here, he could well be suited by this stiff 6, especially the way he shaped over 5f here on his second start. He was on the bridle travelling behind Wise Approach, all dressed up and nowhere to go before powering through late on to nab 3rd. Add a furlong to that and he would have won by lengths potentially, and with a free run he might have even won that race, so I think he’s a bit of a springer in here given that effort and the freshness he brings. As long as he doesn’t bounce from that Kempton effort, I’d hope he gets competitive at a double figure price.

My each-way selection is ARDISIA, a tough and progressive colt who’s won three of his last four and arrives in peak form. A specialist over 6f with proven form on fast ground, he’s ideally suited to Ascot’s stiff, galloping track. His bold, front-running style and gritty attitude make him the type to keep finding when others wilt late on. By Ardad, a sire of hardy juvenile sprinters, he’s built for this test, and with an OR of 100 he looks a solid, underestimated contender capable of outrunning bigger name rivals.

Because it won the last two starts, including at Haydock, and also ran well in conditions stakes at Goodwood, I believe it will be a good alternative for the favorite and possibly finish in the places. Therefore, I bid him a good involvement in this one.

Egoli exits stall 1 and it remains to be seen if this is a help or hindrance. The colt has won two 6 furlongs sprints on the galloping tracks at York and Newbury. His best performance came on today's forecast good going. It is hoped that first time blinkers may bring the necessary improvement. The Ralph Beckett stable is going well with recent winners. Rossa Ryan, who rode a double on Friday, retains the ride.

Karl Burke’s two-year-olds have started running well, and his Super Soldier is a lively outsider here. He finished just half a length behind subsequent Middle Park winner Wise Approach when second at this track back in April and was just beaten a neck in a Chantilly Group 2 in July. He has excuses in his last two starts: a poor draw at Goodwood and dislike of the artificial surface at Kempton. I think he is a good each way bet here.

Hugo Palmer has two in here, but preference is for the outsider Watcha Snoop, who was 2nd to today's favorite on his debut (Words Of Truths' 3rd start) and then won well here at Ascot on his next start when making all. Three of the four runners behind him that day have won since, with the other placing 4th in a really competitive nursery last week. The form looks pretty good for a late-season novice. Ran no race in the Mill Reef last time and has been gelded since. A wide draw would give him the chance to bag a rail and potentially shoot off in front, and he could be tricky to peg back.
