Wonderwall was outstanding for me at Cheltenham last year. This year Mr. James may have overdone the waiting tactics, but I can see the duo being of substance. Mr. R. James is back in the saddle after Mr. Derek Connor was in the plate when winning at Dromahane. He is on Its On The Line. Mrs. Margaret Mullins' charge did hold Wonderwall on the Cheltenham run, but I'm hoping that the form can be reversed.

This gelding brings an elite class profile into a race where the anticipated relentless, end-to-end gallop will play perfectly to his deep stamina reserves. He is mathematically miles ahead of his current mark based on elite past performances, and the addition of first-time headgear signals maximum stable intent to secure the win. 11yo irish gelding Lets Go Champ was an eye-catcher in the Foxhunters' just beaten 7lengths by marvellous Barton Snow who won 8 in a row now including the Princess Royal at the Cheltenham Festival. Has won here at the Festival in 2024 and he is back in great form. Should be in the mix.

Dora Dor comes here in impressive form with three wins and a second place. She could surprise if able to handle this more competitive and challenging event. The odds are too good to ignore. Each-way hopeful.
