Was running well in this race last year when falling 3 out, and has a similar mark this year. Was not disgraced LTO when 6th in the Porterstown, a stronger race than this.

Barry Connell has been unlucky with a couple of his runners in the last few days, being beaten by short distances and recording second places. My Immortal started out on a mark of 134 over fences in handicaps and is now down to 127. That could see this gelding, who is by Shantou, give a good account with jockey Liam McKenna riding. The October run may have loosened him up, and Barry Connell found this race for him to hopefully put up a good show.
