Tilani took a while to show any form, having been unplaced in his first 5 starts, but he has been much improved since cheekpieces were added. 5th in a big field Leopardstown handicap in June was followed by finishing 3rd in a similar race two weeks later. He then ran on the final day of the Galway Festival, staying in well to win an 8 furlongs handicap on soft ground. He is up just 3 lbs for that, and with similar ground forecast, he can follow up.

This is the one to be on at the prices. Ran well here on penultimate start when 3rd but was the one to take out of the race. Very strong each-way bet.

Sir Jeremy at 13.00 offers excellent each-way value. He has been in the mix with some of the top contenders in this race and the expected very strong pace should play right into his hands, allowing for a late run to hit the frame.

If we ignore his last run then surely Paul Flynn's 3 year old Gelding WILLIAM F BROWNE should be entering the conversation right?. This Son of ARIZONA finished 2nd ½ on penultimate here @Galway In deeper company 3lbs lighter. This will be the lowest handicap contest this charge has experienced so far & gets the services of a highly skilled pilot in the shape of Dylan Browne McMonagle who certainly knows his way around here with a 42.48% place strike rate the past 5 years. We're currently getting 18s for this lad with obvious questions needing answers after finishing dead last @Roscommon 21 days ago perhaps the weight hike? The fast ground ? Either way I'm willing to give this charge another chance & see if the softer underfoot conditions (& return here) can bring about a quick turnaround.
