Deauville Racecourse Guide
The Deauville Racecourse, also known as the 'Hippodrome Deauville-La Touques', is located in the Normandy region of France.
This is a major hub for horse racing in France; the area around Deauville is home to numerous stud farms and is the primary breeding area of the country.
Deauville hosts flat racing on both turf and all-weather. The turf track features a chute that enables one-mile races to be run over a straight mile.
Both tracks are right-handed, with the all-weather course on the inside of the turf track being oval. There is roughly a two-and-a-half furlong straight after the final turn.
