US Masters Tournament
The US Masters is the 1st major of the season taking place in early April. It is the only major that is played on the same course. The other three majors, the US Open, British Open and USPGA are played on a range of courses.
This continuity does make the US Masters a slightly easier betting medium with fewer questions on course layout and conditions along with the Masters having the smallest field of the major championships with 90-100 players. Unlike other majors, there are no alternates or qualifying tournaments.
It is an invitational event, with invitations largely issued on an automatic basis to players who meet published criteria. The top 50 players in the Official World Golf Ranking are all invited.
We have a dedicated Masters blog previewing trends and stats relating to historical Masters winners to hopefully pinpoint likely future winners of the Green Jacket at Augusta.

Golf Betting Tips To Beat The Bookies
Golf punters focus on a range of markets when adding US Masters tips. The 1st round leader is always popular, along with top 5 and 10 finish, outright winner, top GB and Ireland winner and top debutant, there are normally some tasty odds on these markets.
Betting in play on golf has also grown over the years with the bookies competing to attract in-play bets. After the players have made the cut the market can have a completely different look to it from the pre-tournament US Masters odds, some bookies will be more generous than others.
Form going into the Masters will be noted by the expert golf tipsters on OLBG. In 2015 Jordan Spieth was the runner-up at the Texas Open before winning at Augusta and 2022 winner Scottie Scheffler had won three tournaments (Phoenix Open, Arnold Palmer Invitational and the WGC Dell Technologies Match Play) from his previous five played, a run which also propelled him to number 1 in the Official World Golf Rankings.
The 2023 winner Jon Rahm was ranked number 1 when winning, he like Scheffler the year before also came into the tournament with three wins (Sentry Tournament of Champions, The American Express and the Genesis Invitational). Scottie Scheffler picked up another win in 2024 and came into the tournament in great form by winning both the Arnold Palmer Invitational and Players Championship and tied second in the Texas Open in his three tournaments going into the Masters.
