Zach is still good enough to compete on the regular tour, but he has started the seniors well and is definitely the man to beat now.

Stewart Cink is in very good form was in the top 5 in his previous 5 tournaments winning two of them and he is one of the main contenders to win this Cologuard Classic.

I would say that New Zealander Steven Alker has the best course form at the par-71 course at La Paloma Country Club in Tucson, Arizona. Perhaps it's not a huge surprise when you consider he resides in Fountain Hills, Arizona ??' a mere stone's throw away, around 120 miles from his home. He knows the course inside out and is obviously a big threat. It could be young gun Zach Johnson ??' a mere whippersnapper at 50 years of age ??' winning on his debut just a few weeks ago. I still think I prefer Steven Alker at odds of 8/1.

Harrington played great the last two rounds, but a poor first round cost him. He will be looking for a better start here in his first round.

8th back in 2023 and hit the rounds' joint best score of eight under par. 24th the following year after a poor last round, but shot back into 8th again last year when finishing eight under par.

El Pato Argentine 56-year-old Ángel Cabrera may be a divisive player on tour, but I feel he could go well in Tucson, Arizona this weekend. He has amassed two top tens in three starts, which is already half of his tally in last year when he won three times, including two senior major titles. Runner-up in the Mitsubishi Electric Championship at Hualalai, he looks like a winner in waiting. Odds at 35/1 each way look worth taking this week.

Played in this tournament for the past two years, taking 7th place in 2024 and a solid 3rd last year, just a shot off the leaders. 14th in the James Hardie a couple of weeks ago, his last tournament.

Boo has played well in the last couple of tournaments, so be looking to find an extra gear here to challenge for the win or higher places.

61-year-old Kevin Sutherland has shown he has good form playing at the par-71 La Paloma Country Club in Tucson, Arizona. He won the event in 2021 and was a runner-up as recently as 2024. He finished in 12th place last year but improved his score in every round. He has played in one event in 2026, the James Hardie Pro Football Hall of Fame Invitational, where he finished a solid T14 and may have been in contention if not for a 76 in the second round, shooting low in the first and third rounds. Odds of 50/1 each way on a course he has had great success on are worth an each-way play, I feel.
