Liverpool v Wrexham Tips

Liverpool's first friendly finished 4-2, while Wrexham have just beaten United 1-0 and Leeds 3-2. Both sides have been going for it instead of treating these games like a slow training session. With all the chances that normally happen in the second half, there should be plenty of openings.

Wrexham are playing with real confidence after two straight wins against Premier League teams. They've got experienced forwards like Moore, and Liverpool are likely to use another mixed back line with plenty of changes. Liverpool should score, but keeping Wrexham completely quiet could be harder than it looks.

Wrexham have already scored three against Leeds and beaten United during this tour, so they've shown they can cause Premier League sides problems. Liverpool also gave up two against Sunderland and are short at center back after Gomez picked up a knock. Wrexham can get one, but Liverpool should create far more here.

Liverpool took a little while to settle against Sunderland, but once they got going, they scored four and looked dangerous. Iraola will probably want a quicker start this time, and there are loads of young lads trying to show they deserve more minutes. Wrexham won't be easy, but Liverpool should be on top from early.
