Players Championship 13 Tips

Nijman reached five finals out of 12 events and won four of them. That means he won one in four Players Championship events, which is an amazing stat considering the number of players competing. He is one of the players with great stamina and one of the few who can average 100+ consistently. I think he is the rightful favorite here.

Chris Dobey brings power scoring (0.35 180s per leg) and experience to the table, and he is the call at 10/1 to do well.

Ross Smith is not playing his worst darts and is really pressuring a lot of players at the moment. It just looks like value considering he has blown out in the odds.

A top-12 player now for a couple of seasons, and he often goes underrated. He's as solid as they come and should give us a good run.

Kevin Doets is knocking on the door of a Players Championship win. The Dutch player was in the semifinals in the last two events. This is his third semifinal appearance in PC this year.

Heta’s quick exits from Players Championships are masked by him getting a rough draw early. Greaves, Cross, Schindler??'that’s not who you want to get in the first three rounds. Eventually he gets a more favorable draw, finds his rhythm, and makes a deep run. He has won many of these tournaments in the past.

As my second choice for Players Championship 13, I will take Luke Woodhouse. He made a deep run in Players Championship 10 (semi-final loss to red-hot Wessel Nijman).

Michael Smith is starting to play a little better recently and lost in the final of Players Championship Event 11. I think he has a great chance to get a win under his belt in this tournament.

Fantastic price on a 9-time PC winner. His last win came in the 2024 season. Recently he reached the fourth round in PC10 and the third round in PC12, with notable wins against Clayton and Gilding. I like Dolan EW.
