  • Man City was the UEFA Champions League runner-up in 2021.
  • Inter Milan has three titles, the most recent coming in 2010.
  • During the knockout phase, Inter Milan has shut out their opponent in five of six opportunities.

On June 10th, Manchester City and Inter Milan will face off at Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul. The 2,000-mile journey from Manchester to Istanbul pales in comparison to the decades-long quest Man City has been on in pursuit of its first UEFA Champions League title. Inter Milan, a three-time winner, is making its sixth appearance in the final, and its first since 2010. During the knockout phase, Inter Milan was impenetrable on the defensive end, posting five shutouts in six matches. Man City blitzed their competition with a dazzling display on the pitch, finding the back of the net 17 times in six matches. They can tie Real Madrid for the most knockout phase goals (21 in 2014) if they score four times against Inter Milan's stingy defense. Sportsbooks have set odds for the match, installing Man City as a heavy favorite.

Manchester City vs. Inter Milan

Man City has obliterated the competition en route to the final and should be supremely confident that they can finally break through. Inter Milan would need to muck up this match and win 1-0 or via PKs and I just don't see that happening.

Here are the latest betting odds for the UEFA Champions League Final between Manchester City and Inter Milan. All wagers can be placed with licensed Sportsbooks in the US.

Regular Time Result Odds Probability
Man City To Win -255 71.83%
Inter Milan To Win +600 14.29%
Draw +390 20.41%

The Champions League Final between Many City and Inter Milan is considered to be a lopsided affair by oddsmakers. If bettors opt to make a wager in regular time, they have three options, including a draw after 90 minutes and stoppage time. Unlike the previous Knockoff Phase Rounds, this is a single-game, winner-take-all match. After 90 minutes, if the game remains tied, two 15-minute periods would be played followed by a penalty shoot-out to determine the winner if necessary.

To Win The Cup Odds Probability
Man City -575 85.19%
Inter Milan +350 22.22%

Bettors also have the option of playing either side to Win The Cup, be it in normal playing time, extra time or via penalty kicks.

Total Goals Odds Probability
Over 2.5 -155 60.78%
Under 2.5 +115 46.51%

Sportsbooks have multiple totals listed for this match, but the closest to an even-money split between the over and under is sitting at 2.5 goals.

Pep Guardiola’s squad has been on a mission, dispatching European royalty like Bayern Munich and Real Madrid without breaking much of a sweat in recent weeks. They've already won the Premier League and could potentially secure the Treble if they win both the FA Cup and Champions League finals in the next two weeks. Making it even sweeter for their fans is that no English club has won the Treble since Manchester United in 1998-99. On the pitch, Erling Haaland has been a goal-scoring machine and Kevin De Bruyne has been a revelation in the midfield (7 assists). Few teams have been able to crack Inter Milan in the past few weeks, evidenced by their eight cleans sheets on the season. The Nerazzurri never seem to be out of their depth, even when facing elite strikers, and their keeper Onana has 45 saves on the season (1st). But Man City's attack is on another level at the moment, necessitating at least two goals from Inter Milan to hang around in this one. I don't see that happening for the Nerazzurri. I'm predicting a win in regular time for Man City and will consider playing them -1.5 goals at even money.
