Portugal

Portugal were quarter-finalists in the last World Cup, and four years on they are a more experienced team with even more quality and experience in every position. Ronaldo is still scoring. Bruno Fernandes and Vitinha provide strength in midfield, and they have a strong defence. I do think Portugal are going to win the 2026 World Cup.

The Netherlands are three-time finalists at the World Cup, and I do think they have a squad full of real quality. They reached the final in 2010 and finished third in 2014. I think the Dutch are going to go all the way to the World Cup final once again.

Portugal

The Portuguese were beaten in the quarter-finals in the last World Cup, and I do think the 2016 European champions can win this year's World Cup. A lot of their players have had excellent seasons, and I think with Ronaldo still scoring goals, he could sign off his international career by lifting the World Cup.

The 2016 European champions look ready to lift the World Cup in what could be Ronaldo's last dance. They have quality players in Vitinha, Neves, and Mendes from PSG, and with Fernandes and Silva along with a strong defence, I do think Portugal are going to go all the way.

Venezuela beat Iraq 2-0 last week in a friendly, and I do think Norway are going to beat them too. Norway topped a group, beating Italy twice, and have two excellent strikers in Haaland and Sørloth, so I think this will be a Norway win.

Iraq scored and held Spain to a 1-1 draw last week. They beat Andorra and Bolivia in the two games before. The Asian teams have played well so far in the World Cup, and I do think Iraq will score in this group game. It will have both teams to score.

Five wins in nine for Iraq, and I do think they will be no pushovers for Norway. Egypt gave Belgium a very good game, and I think Iraq will score, but Haaland is going to make the difference, Norway winning this group game 2-1.
