Second in a maiden hurdle in December at Leopardstown and followed that up by winning on heavy ground at Punchestown. Leader D'Allier won five of six bumpers in France. I do think that, with Paul Townend on this horse, he can go very close to winning the Supreme Novices' Hurdle.

Was beaten in December at Aintree but did win his first three races for the Skelton team. The Good to Soft conditions expected on day one should be ideal and I do think My Daddy Paddy wins the Supreme Novices' Hurdle to start the Cheltenham Festival off.

Kopek Des Bordes won the Supreme Novices' Hurdle last year, and I do think he can go back-to-back at the festival by winning the Arkle Challenge Trophy. Five wins in six races for Mullins' runner, and I think the favourite wins the second race on day one.

Since pulling up at Aintree last April, there have been three chase wins in a row for Steel Ally. I do think a very big run at Cheltenham is on the cards, and I think this horse can push Kopek des Bordes all the way.

Hardy Stuff won at Leopardstown in December, taking a Maiden Hurdle. I do think he will be better than he was at Cheltenham in January, when running a bit too free. I think Gordon Elliott will have him right for the festival, and he will be in the places in this Juvenile Handicap Hurdle.

The Nicky Henderson runner is unexposed, and I do think Nico de Boinville can ride Manlaga to victory. She won last month at Haydock after her debut win in Auteuil, and I think JP McManus can be another Cheltenham winner with Manlaga in the McCoy Contractors Juvenile Handicap Hurdle.

Jagwar was just held at Cheltenham in January but did win twice last year, both times at Cheltenham. Twelve months on from winning the Plate Handicap Chase, I really do think moving up to three miles will see Jagwar win the Ultima Handicap Chase today.

Last year in the Kim Muir Challenge Cup, Johnny Who finished second and ran really well. This is a JP McManus horse, and I do think that, since having wind surgery after the last run at Haydock, Johnny Who is one to watch in the Ultima Handicap Chase today.

France have Ireland and England at home this year, and I do think the Six Nations is in their control. The French won the tournament last year for the second time since 2022. I think they will win the Six Nations again in 2026.

Brentford have lost Mbeumo and Norgaard in the summer and other players like Wissa and Collins have been linked with moves away. They only appointed Keith Andrews as manager and I don't think he will last the season, I think Brentford will struggle and will end up in the bottom three.

The French striker moves to the Premier League after scoring fifteen league goals in Germany last season for Eintracht Frankfurt. He netted 22 in all competitions last season and I do think Hugo Ekitike will have an excellent debut season in England.

The England striker has scored fifteen-plus goals in the last three seasons, and I do think he is going to have his best season yet in the Premier League. Duran left last season, and I think Watkins will play all the games and finish as the Top Goalscorer come May time.

Josh Rock had a very good 2025 after changing manufacturer to Target. I do think 2026 will be a year in which the Northern Irishman wins titles and takes that next step to the very highest level of the game. I think Rocky can win his debut year in the Premier League.

Luke Humphries won the Premier League last year, beating Luke Littler in the final. In 2024 he also reached the final. Over sixteen nights, I do think Cool Hand will reach another final in the Premier League Darts.

Liverpool have signed Isak, Wirtz, Ekitike and full backs Kerkez and Frimpong and I do think they have a squad that can conquer Europe. The six time European Champions topped the league stage last year and I think they will build on that to lift the Champions League this season.

The Dutch have made eleven appearances in the World Cup and have reached the final three times in 1974, 1978, and most recently in 2010. I do think they have their best squad in some years right now, and they are also former European Champions. Since being runner-up in South Africa 2010, they were third in Brazil 2014 and a quarter-finalist in 2022 in Qatar. I think the Netherlands can make it to another World Cup final in 2026.

Portugal reached the quarterfinals at the last World Cup in 2022 in Qatar. I do think the squad they have now could win a World Cup. They won the European Championship in 2016, and with this being Ronaldo's last dance and the memory of Diogo Jota, I think Portugal will become World Champions.

The British driver won the Drivers' Championship last season. The way he held off Piastri and Verstappen was impressive and will give Lando huge confidence. I do think Norris will embrace the title and what comes with being world champion, and I think he will regain his drivers' crown in 2026/2027.
