The English golfer was sixth last week at the South African Open Championship, and I do think he will have another good week in South Africa. In 2016 he won the Joburg Open, so I think on the back of last week that Haydn Porteous can have another very good tournament.

The South African was 18th in Kenya two weeks ago. Since 2017 in the Joburg Open he has been fourth twice, and last year he was runner-up to Calum Hill. I do think Jacques Kruyswijk will prove to be a very good bet.

Harris English has been a runner-up at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and he also has a ninth-place finish. He has made the cut at all the top golf courses this year, finishing top 30, and I do think he is going to have his best finish of 2026 at this week's tournament.

Shane Lowry has been top ten the last two years at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. He does like this course and is playing well after finishing joint second last week in the Cognizant Classic. I do think he puts last week's disappointment behind him straight away with a good Arnold Palmer tournament.

In 2022 Viktor Hovland was runner-up in the Arnold Palmer Invitational, and he was top 10 the very next year. Three tournaments ago he was top ten, and he has won big titles, so I do think the European golfer will have another chance of winning at Bay Hill.

Liverpool have signed Isak, Wirtz, Ekitike and full backs Kerkez and Frimpong and I do think they have a squad that can conquer Europe. The six time European Champions topped the league stage last year and I think they will build on that to lift the Champions League this season.

The Dutch have made eleven appearances in the World Cup and have reached the final three times in 1974, 1978, and most recently in 2010. I do think they have their best squad in some years right now, and they are also former European Champions. Since being runner-up in South Africa 2010, they were third in Brazil 2014 and a quarter-finalist in 2022 in Qatar. I think the Netherlands can make it to another World Cup final in 2026.

Portugal reached the quarterfinals at the last World Cup in 2022 in Qatar. I do think the squad they have now could win a World Cup. They won the European Championship in 2016, and with this being Ronaldo's last dance and the memory of Diogo Jota, I think Portugal will become World Champions.
