We have to excuse Righthere Rightnow's run at Laurel Park, which in truth is a rare poor run by the horse. No excuse has come to light. Top jockey Axel Concepcion takes the mount here tonight. The fact that Michael Stidham brings the horse here is vital, and I respect this man's moves and placements. Let's trust him here at Monmouth tonight.

Fast Market is my idea of the winner in this race and produced a career-best at Keenland 10 weeks ago on 8th April. Top jockey Joel Rosario for tonight by trainer John Terranova II, who is responsible for having such a strong barn with useful horses. The placement and the booking of Rosario is sheer quality here. At these weights, Fast Market is the clear pick and holds more aces than most here. Each way at 5/1 looks the bet.

Major Tom appears as likely to chase home the selection, who surely is the standard setter on form in this field and should be in front at the winning line.

Gulfstream obviously is well-liked by this horse as his best races appear to have been run here. The rider tonight is Edgard J. Zayas, who also is a good rider at this track. So, summing up, this 7-year-old from Saffie Joseph's barn looks to be the clear pick of these at these weights.

Coeur d'Or has run well off a handicap mark of 100 in highly competitive handicaps at the Curragh and Galway on his last three runs. Considering he is a nine-year-old, he holds his form very well. Chris Hayes gets on very well with the horse and rides today. Dermot Weld has scoured the entries book to find this race, the Thomastown, which suits the strength of opponents, trip, and possible weak early pace for our selection. This is a very decent opportunity for Coeur d'Or. He can take this!

Eastwatch found Listed company too demanding at this stage of her career but was only beaten eight and a half lengths by Green Impact, who has fancy entries to contest such as the Irish Derby and Champion Stakes, so it wasn't a poor run. Eastwatch is highly regarded by his in-form yard, and his three opponents hardly inspire confidence. Eastwatch is our NAP today.

Maverick The Rave improved significantly for the increase in distance from 2 miles to 2 miles 6 furlongs and acts on soft ground, which will be the going at Downpatrick. James Smith claims 2lb as an apprentice in this Opportunity race for apprentices. He rode 14 winners last season and got off the mark for this season 15 days ago at Listowel. He is promising and still learning, but in this race, he looks good and is getting that 2lb claim. The three non-runners changed the overall view of this race as each had a possibility of winning. Now, with those gone, Maverick The Rave looks a great each-way bet.

Redistricting ran very well in the graded Seabiscuit race at Del Mar and finished second after coming from the rear of the field in the latter stages of the race. He was also placed in a Grade 3 at Aqueduct where he met trouble in running. That form stands out for us all to read, and again this form is superior to that of the remaining runners. A strong pace would give jockey Flavian Prat horses to run and pass in the latter stages of this race.

He should strip fitter from his opening run of this season at Catterick where he stayed on in final furlong. Pianoforte is a lightly raced horse in a good yard and could upset the favourite here

Palmeira ran well first time up but was unsuited being upped in trip to six furlongs on second run. Trainer Eve Johnson Houghton brings her back to five furlongs. Palmeira has lots of early speed and Bath is a fast course on firm ground. She is drawn in stall 8 which is quite ok at this course as draw bias shows high draw better in five furlong sprints. Hopefully her jockey can keep her steady to the elbow then let her go from there. Big run expected by yard today.

It was a very promising run for the first race in six months since leaving Laura Horsfall and going to David Loghane. He steps back to one mile at Chelmsford with Richard Kingscote riding again. I cannot imagine Richard will allow leaders too much rope tomorrow and haul them in on the run in from the top bend. Our NAP of Thursday.

This extra furlong should suit Royal Zabeel. The course should be fine and Billy Lee, one of my favourite jockeys, rides here. 12/1 is a massive price with four each way places.

One Smokin Rita obviously loves this track. She was in Florida but is now in Ohio and has upped her game immensely since joining this barn. She has won her last two but possibly ran her best race on debut here when second, with a useful filly back in third. Rita can run from the front or be held up. She is versatile with her racing. Looks a decent bet tonight.

Wateen improved last time in a Class 4 Doncaster maiden and today runs in a Class 5 maiden at Lingfield. At Doncaster, she found only Kamakameleon too good, and that horse went on to be a creditable fifth in the Listed National Stakes at Sandown. Today, good jockey Kieron O'Neil takes the mount, and the horse has a major advantage on this field being drawn in stall 11 next to the rail. This draw suggests a big plus and is worth noting. I expect Wateen to make all from this draw. Our NAP of the day.
