Whisky Yankee is trained by Sam Thomas for Dai Walters, who founded this course in 2009. This combination has had good horses and many winners here. He has a good opportunity after finishing fifth in a Grade Two at Haydock behind Dalston Lad. A good winner at Ascot previously. Should win.

Taritino has a professional rider today in Taylor Fisher, which will provide more assistance from the saddle. This is a similar-grade race on similar ground, and the horse looks to have a good chance to follow up.

Sold Out has run in ordinary handicaps in the last two races. They were demanding too much from Sold Out. This race is a Classified Stakes, a non-handicap for low-graded horses. This is calmer water for this horse. It has been backed already from 7/1, and we think this money is appropriate in this race. A big run is expected from a decent draw.

With Richard Hannon's team in form, Corniche Girl could well play a big part in the outcome of this race back at 7 furlongs. Stall 3 is good here. I think that our selection can play a part in the finish, with skilled jockey Sean Levey a decent rider at this track.

Brentford have a very serious injury list, with players like Rico Henry, Reiss Nelson, Aaron Hickey, Fabio Carvalho, plus several others unavailable. Wolves seem to only have González out injured. Wolves' form and attitude have been much better of late and they have been beaten only once in the last five games. Brentford are struggling for their best form. At the odds and stage of the season, I think Wolves could cause a big upset at the Gtech Stadium tonight.

Derby really need to put a performance together tonight which will earn them three points in the race for a play-off place in the Championship. Portsmouth will be keen, but I don't think they can deal with Derby's attack. An interesting game. Derby edging the win with more attacking play.

Crimson Rambler looks likely to need more improvement to win tonight, but I feel it's difficult to oppose him despite drifting in the market at the moment. Liam Wright has ridden this horse on his last three runs with two wins and a second place. Liam claims 5 lb, and I feel this will be the difference at the end of the race. The extra trip will suit, drawing out the horse's stamina. Big chance of a hat-trick.
