Winner of this tournament back in 2022 on sixteen under by one clear shot, and played well again the following year to take seventh. Just missed the cut last year, but has plenty of experience here to bounce back. Was 5th in the John Deere back in July.

His eight under second day performance was the best of that tournament and could bounce back with another good performance here if sparking a revival in form.

The price is beyond me considering his form last year, including two wins and two 2nd place finishes. Form hasn't been peak this year so far, but is generally solid in this tournament. Langer was 4th here in 2023 on twelve under par, including a six under bogey-free final round. Followed that up with a 3rd here last year when one shot off eventual winner Steve Stricker, who has won this three times on the bounce.
