This looks quite competitive, but preference goes to AS, who finished 2nd three times and won four races prior to the last two runs. Finished 5th at Nottingham, but did not like the switch from all-weather surface to turf. Placed 4th latest at Southwell, but has now twice shown not to like the surface there. Drops a pound for this, and the new tongue-tie might help further.

Finished 2nd by a neck in the latest run at Bath for a new trainer when just held by the race favourite, who made it three wins in four runs. Up 3 lbs, but should be properly fit for this after having to run following a 163-day break last time. Big in-form jockey booked for this.

Stepped up to Class Four company on the latest run at Southwell, when 2nd by a length after returning from a 152-day break. The winner that day was coming back after a gelding op, had been placed by less than a length, and had won prior. Quite progressive and should be close here again.

Appeal here despite finishing 8th of ten runners at Kempton latest. Has run twice on the all??'weather surface now, and the results are similar, with preference appearing to be for turf. Finished 4th prior at Leicester by just over a length and now runs off a slightly lower mark. Has won a couple of times previously in much higher company.

Came here in 2024 and delivered a decent 4th to finish sixteen under par starting on seven under, and finishing on six under on the last day bogey-free. Delivered a 9th place finish last year for a second top ten finish on the bounce.

Came here in 2024 to finish on seventeen under, just one shot off the winner Nacho Elvira. Both players stormed into a seven-shot lead on the first day. Langasque returned again last year to take 9th, making it two top-ten finishes in as many seasons.
