Shocker last time out when eighth of nine runners, but was caught in traffic towards the end and was running over a much further distance. Best form is over this distance (two furlongs less) and did come third here in the previous race when having to overcome a bad draw. Last win was here back in December over this distance and off this mark.

Ran well in defeat last time out at Huntingdon in Class Four company, finishing close despite taking only seventh of nine runners. Won the previous time out at the same ground on firmer ground, which is the forecast for here. The drop back to Class Five supports a strong run.

Three career wins so far for the seven-year-old, with two of those coming around this time of year. Last win came at Fontwell at the beginning of March last year, but he has had a wind op since then and ran well in defeat when second last time out at Plumpton. He did run out of steam, but was racing for the first time since pulling up at Fontwell. A strong jockey is on board to support further progress for this horse.
