Has been running well since winning at Hamilton back in June of last year. Hit traffic at Ayr in the following race in a big field of runners, and did not do well with the draw at Pontefract when returning from a long break. Eighth most recently at Hamilton when again hit traffic, but did pick up pace again, a bit too late towards the end. Decent jockey booking for this effort.

Best run so far was a 2nd at Chepstow at this distance in this class. Decent effort latest when 4th here of ten runners. Ran out of steam towards the end, but it was the first run in 233 days for a new yard. Has also been gelded.

Raced here twice last year, finishing 2nd in both ??" by half a length and a neck in the other. Latest run saw a 2nd at Bath when running out of steam towards the end. Was, however, returning from a 218-day break on debut for a new yard. Should run fitter for this.

Turkey are a strong side that like to get forward and put pressure on their opponents. We saw them make a decent effort back in 2024 in the Euros, so I think they will put in a good effort in the group stages. I can't see Australia, Paraguay, or the USA putting up a big challenge here. The latter, with home advantage, will probably take second.

With both Györkös and Isak up front, Sweden will have the firepower this year to make them better contenders. There is something not quite right about the Netherlands this year, and Tunisia are not great overall to put in a challenge. Japan I can see being the threat, but they haven't beaten Sweden for a while now after a number of matches.
