Castanea Breeze won last time at Huntingdon, having followed a win at Market Rasen off a mark of 82 with an even better 2nd of 16, beaten three lengths at Wetherby off 87. Up a further three pounds, he could be good enough to win again.

Castle Quarter was off the track for the whole of 2023 and 2024, and there were low expectations on his return as a nine-year-old last year. His prices ranged from 20-2 to 66-1 in his five races, but he won at 20-1 at Uttoxeter last May and was a decent 3rd of 12 at 50-1, beaten less than six lengths at Wincanton on Boxing Day. Those prices won't be on offer at Fakenham off the same mark of 92.
