Both are three pounds higher this year, but he should have every chance going with the pace again, which should be strong with Isle Est Français in the field.

He clicked last time at Bangor, coming through to win going away on good ground after a string of poor chase performances since joining Dan Skelton from Ireland, where likewise he showed his best work on good going. Originally out of the handicap, his four-pound penalty puts him a pound ahead of the handicapper, and seven-pound claimer Harry Atkins rides.
