He was aimed at a valuable Class 1 handicap hurdle at Ascot in December, but the ante-post bets went awry as he was held up, did not jump well enough, and was beaten before making a mistake at the last, finishing fourth. This is far easier for him, and he probably just needs to jump round to win.
