He was 3rd in a bumper to Sinnatra at Chepstow in November 2024, then had a promising run over hurdles after a long break on New Year's Day at Windsor. He was 2nd of 4 in a novice hurdle over slightly shorter, where he briefly led from Fountains Blenheim three out. That horse then took over again and won eased down, but Assertive Walk easily beat the other two, so the form was decent.
