If Fortunate Man is fully recovered from his exertions in the Eider Chase, where he was suffering from heat stress afterwards, he should appreciate the drop back in distance here. Although both his chase wins came at Aintree, they were in the same Class 3 three-mile handicap chase on the Mildmay Course in December 2024 and 2025, so a left-handed galloping track like Ffos Las should suit.
