Polepatrick won well at Tramore and has had a short break of 50 days since that win. He now goes up in distance to two and a half miles. He will probably need to settle better to get the trip, as he was a bit keen last time, racing prominently and was helped by his nearest challenger unseating at the last. He has Chanceawetmorning to beat, who has already run up to three miles over hurdles, but his two wins in handicap hurdles were at two miles.

Simple Things is a four-year-old maiden filly, but she is getting closer to winning. She finished 2nd in her last two races, only beaten one and a half lengths last time when left with too much to do. She is up three pounds but is bottom weight here, getting nearly two stone from the favourite.

Workahead won well in his first chase at Wexford, jumping well. He looks very capable of defying a penalty here and following up.
