Although he hasn't won since 2024 and has run all but one of his races over 6f (the other being a 7f race last year), he is speedy enough to win this. In 2025 he started the year with a short-head second to Briasa in a 6f Group 1 at Randwick and finished fourth to Joliestar in the same race this year, with Briasa only eighth.

He needs to bounce back from some poor runs in the UK, which has dropped his mark back to 99. Drawn well in stall 1 for a position on the rail around the bend at the end of the home straight.
