Having tipped up Church Mountain a few times this year waiting for it to fly home, it finally did lto and i missed it! Not going to use it today as my ew pick either as price has gone, but this one did well two races ago being a close up 4th over 1m 4f (my notes say it was blocked twice) and was also 4th the race before that over a similar trip to todays. My notes also say that something seemed to happen lto when in 2nd with about 4f to go, but i'm not sure what exactly. Was maybe cut up and seemed to lose action, but i'm not sure, either way we are back down in trip today and if this mark is not too high on h/c debut, could do well at 25-1.

I thought this one did ok on second h/c run at Cork 10 days ago. Seemed to want to come accross but wasn't really allowed so had to run on the wrong side of the track, but wasn't far behind in 4th. Might just need some head gear, but looked an improver and could out-run these big odds today.

Is better over further imo, but was unlucky over c & d lto when 3rd behind todays short priced fav and Carla Ridge, who was 2nd. A few others in that race are also running today and i don't really see anything that is much better today that will effect the same top 3, maybe Vespertilio the exception. (rev tricast these) I mentioned Bellaphina was unlucky and that was because she was short of room and jockey went inside when there appeared to be room up the rail, but she was finishing faster than both in front of her and why she is 28-1 today, i don't quite understand.

As mentioned in my ew tip, i don't see why the first 3 can't repeat the last race over c & d, but i'm not sure in what order. This was only 3/4l behind todays short priced fav in that race and wasn't away that well after getting restless in the stalls. Could well reverse that today if not so stressed, but i do think the now 40-1 outsider Bellaphiner is also a danger and i didn't mention in that tip that skybet are paying 4 places. This one at 10-1 could also be bet ew.

This went in the tracker after making her debut last month at Leopardstown when just 3l behind Fairy Oak in 5th/14 and went off at 200-1. Was second or third to last approaching the bend, but because she was on the inside rail, passed all the wide running horses without using extra pace, but when off the bridle in the last 2f, didn't really have any room and seemed to have to check her stride. I'm sure there was plenty more underneath that day and her price reflects that obvious fact unfortunatly, but seems to be drifting out to 11-1 and is now looking a better ew chance.

This one looks like the step up in distance will help a lot from what i've seen from first two races. lto was a decent race, but didn't get going until too late and it was a similar case for the first race. Fav looks decent, so i'm not sure this can win, but with 4 places on offer, Wild Berries could fill one if a little closer to the pace.

Seems to run on all going and has been a different animal since being gelded. Won lto and has been put up 4lb, but has a decent 5lb claimer on top today to off-set that rise and from a decent draw could well be in the thick of things at the finish.

Almost all these races this week are going to be hard to pick winners and this is no exeption. This one is yet to win on turf but was a decent 2nd lto and is 4/4 on the aw. Just the 4 races this year and looks a decent ew shout here if the draw doesn't prove costly.

Wanted to get a few picks in early for York and get better prices, but i left it too late and have lost the price on this and my ew tip. This was the outsider lto when i picked it and i like her chances today ew, but will use it as my win tip. Very progressive and has every chance of improving again and will have too to win this, but i believe she is good enough.

I have been going back and forth in this race and i'm sure one of my bigger priced picks will get a place, but i liked two and couldn't decide, so i've just gone for this ew at 9-1. Won well lto with a gritty run and although i like both the ladies rides in this race, Fireblade is better value and i don't think another 5lb hike will hinder too much.

Will need to improve again today, but that is quite possible. Toughest race to date and wasn't far behind Brazen Bolt here last month who is a lot shorter than this one. Won lto, so is still improving and if getting the breaks today, could pull off a shock.

I have done well with this one in the past with Grace riding, but Jack is riding today. Front runner who has been hard to reel in on his day and even in these big races with lots of places on offer, has placed at big prices. Is now back down to a mark that is workable and this will be his 2nd race after a wind op and i'm hoping Jack gets out early from this poor draw and gets to the front and at least holds on for a place.

Going to add this one at 33-1 who is a bad starter, but has been even worse since in Ireland. Is up in trip today which should help to get back in the race if bad starts continue and if this race has a slow pace, has the speed to blow these away in the last furlong or two.

Lost about 15l after blowing the start lto and as jockeys do, decided to sprint a furlong to catch up quickly instead of just doing it gradually. Even so, was a lot closer at the finish than what they lost at the start, so with a normal start would have at least placed imo. Was a reserve on aw the other day (didn't run) and i really fancied it and price dropped just before it was pulled, but as i mentioned then, it does appear to be better on the aw, but i'm still going to chance it ew and hope for a better start.

Not a great price now, but did show a big improvement on seasonal debut at Galway 3 weeks ago upped to todays distance. Was 5th and 10l behind the winner, but will surely come on for that run and has decent ew chances.

Nearly did this yesterday when i did my tip in the last and wish i had done because unlike the other tip which has gone up a bit, this one has halved. Had first run this year at the Galway Festival and had a wide trip and was 15th, but only about 5l down in a race spent towards the rear. Kept running down the home straight without being given a hard ride and should come on leaps for that run today.

I do think it will be difficult to get a place here as i do like all three of the market leaders, but this one showed such an improvement lto, but didn't see the trip out imo, but probably will in future. There is speed in pedigree, so this 7.5f might be worth a go and if this first time hood also helps as well as finding more improvement, could be in the mix of things. Watch for any market movement for Ready To Mingle on debut and might be worth a cover bet.

Was nearly 5l ahead of the re-opposing Tahcawin and even further ahead of Idiocracy and both of them are currently around 3's & 4-1, so i can't understand why this one is drifting like a barge. I guess i've missed something, but was a very close 3rd in that race and with a furlong to go, i thought Tharaka would win. I'm not too sure about the two market leaders either and i still think this can win, but at this rate might end up double figures, so i'll go ew.

Not a race i am very confident in and we have had quite a few pull out already, which means this reserve is in and gets Andrew Slattery on top, because he was on a nr. It is a risky one over this distance, but showed better form lto over shorter and could nick a place if staying. Small ew.

Has yet to win for this yard and i have been a little bit wary of betting on anything from this yard for fear of h/c cutting in races outside of the Racing League. I thought i read somewhere that this had an entry for the Ayr Gold Cup, but didn't see anything for the RL, so will chance it today. Ran ok in only run this season, but does need going at least g/s, but better on soft or heavy and there haven't been many of those lately, so i guess that is why we're on the aw today. Was 40-1 earlier though, so coming down a little.

I think i did say that i would give this one more try lto, but it did have a bit of a rough race from what i can remember and i'll give it another chance. Mark has fallen so low that it must take advantage soon, but unfortunatly is up against the winner of that last race again, but i thought it could do it last time off this mark, so will take another chance even though there are only 2 places. Very small ew.

Made a note of this one when a fast finishing 6th two races ago and picked up a few places lto from the back again when seemingly not even trying. It was a reserve that day and i didn't know who was riding when it got in, but they didn't do a great job tbh. Kevin Stott rides today and i believe todays smaller field will help this horse if held up, but not too far off the pace and then show that finishing speed.

Huge price at 100-1 for this 2yo who has had a run and it was at this track. Didn't start very well that day and lost about 10-12 lengths, but recovered well enough and the fact that Marco pulled out wide to make a run could well have meant that more was expected that day, but the winner has also gone with a couple of others and it looked like he eased up. Same track and same jockey, but down in trip and with a better start and that track experience, could get a place as the fav looks a cut above and should win, but i don't think much of the others that have already run.

Stable has been in decent form and this 12yo has been quite consistent and running better than results are showing like when 5th lto by only about 1.5l. Drops into this class 6 race today and should go close at a nice 20-1 price.

Also going with Von Krolock in this race and i should be doing this as ew probably, but i'm not sure whether they are on a h/c cutting run or not as it seemed lto. The fact this is drifting this morning possibly proves my point and a bad run is coming, but imo is capable of winning this.

I was so sure this would finally break it's turf duck lto and win and was gutted when it didn't and came 2nd. Is on better terms with that rival today (4lb for 3/4l) and will also want to better last years run in this race when 3rd when 8lb higher. Has got to break this turf curse sooner rather than later and i hope it's today.

I still love this beatiful grey horse even though i haven't tipped it the last twice. Has changed hands and was in a claimer lto, but i'm back on him again here even over this 8f trip. Has been a hold up horse who finishes very fast, but usually too late and/or from too far back with too many other horses in it's way and yes, that's been the jockeys fault on many occasions. This track should suit him better than most and indeed has placed here 3 times from only the 5 races and probably should run here more often and imo can at least place here today.

It just can't be a coincidence that Goldmoyne has won here over 7f in August off 42 (net) the last two years after showing no form anywhere else, so it's a bit of a shame that todays trip is 8f. Everything else is perfect, it's August, course, going and a mark of 49 (42 with 7lb claimer) and out the h/c as he was in 2023. Two wins and a place in 4 runs at this track and the other was still quite a decent run, so always runs well here and connections must be trying to win here today. Just a shame this front runner will have to try and last another furlong today, but he could, you never know.

This race has been doing my head in all morning and i'm still torn between, well nearly all of them! Was going to just leave it alone as it's too close to call, but i wanted to put something up and decided on Grant Wood who i thought would be a higher price because of recent form, but i guess like me, most think that this has been a target race and mark has come down because of those races. Just lost the price on my ew pick (was 33-1 when picked but only got 22-1) and this one is 25-1 as i type. Makes h/c debut with interesting jockey booking and is up in trip, which makes this very suspicious and dangerous. Didn't set the world alight on 3 previous runs, but that could all change today and should be ew for betting.

There is a strong possibility that this one will not run being 3rd reserve, but if it does is a decent ew play as long as it doesn't blow the start like last race. I believe i tipped this at Galway recently and he was a little unlucky imo at a vital stage just before the home straight which saw him lose ground before coming back in the straight to finish 6th/18, but only 2l behind the winner. Clearly his mark is still workable after winning in June and even though this drop in trip isn't ideal, it still should be ok. Is better drawn today than some market leaders as well.

First ride for Andrew Slattery which could mean something in itself and it could also mean that her opening mark is on the high side and they want it lowered. It's also the change in distance after last 2yo race and lto both over 6f and now over 1m, which was what she ran on 2yo debut, which could be a clue to a better run. The odds say that i'm wrong and i probably am, but i will always back my possible hunches or i will never forgive myself and i won't break the bank with a small ew play, but the rewards are nice when they come off at such a big price.

None of the market leaders are drawn well today, which could leave the door open for a bigger priced place finish in this race. I've gone for this one who was 10l down at Galway on debut, which is quite a unique track imo and doesn't suit all and didn't get a great start so was always at the back. Good 7lb claimer and a decent draw in 3, so if getting away well and this trip suits, could be a half decent ew play.

At 20-1 this looks like a great price for First Officer who imo has had some really poor rides over the last year. Has won as well and i hope it wasn't just because it was a small field race, but does seem to get out of position a lot, but that's the jockey fault and not the horses, so should have decent ew chances.

Nearly shocked lto at 150-1 over c & d back in May and if is wasn't for the fact that the jockey dropped the reins late on, it could well have at least placed. Got away well in that race and will have to do the same again from stall 2 to get accross to the more favoured side of the track, but can do that and could out-run these 25-1 odds and prove lto was no fluke. Ew for betting.

8th/17 by 11l on debut wasn't great, but it wasn't that bad either, not 40-1 bad anyway. Ran well for most of the race without any cover up the middle of the track and just seemed to run out of puff. Down to 5f today may well help as will that experience.

Trainer plays the handicap game very well and has now, it seems, started to use his low handicapped horses in the Racing League. We saw last week how competitive his horses were and this is another one. Has taken all season to get this mark down to 70 and went off fav lto off 72, which was 2lb below last winning mark, so 4lb under that today. Has never won in this class but has placed several times and should go close today on this g/f going and it looks like this is the teams only runner, so should be busting a gut for the points.

Maiden who seems to only run well at this track as proved when 3rd here lto. No chance with the decent winner that day and did appear to hang to the left in the last furlong, but was also 3rd here last year and it's no surprise that they're back here today. Usually huge prices, but not today, but has started to drift and is well worth an ew play, even over this shorter trip.
