It seems like i'm following this one of a cliff, but as i've said before, it was very popular at the breeze-ups and was a horse for this year. Has been running a lot better this year and no more so than lto when not getting a clear run until very late and somehow made up so much ground in a short space to be a very close 2nd. Is up in grade today, but i'm not too bothered about that, but this will win soon i'm sure, but it might be another place today, but i hope i'm wrong.

This is a tricky race and i'm happy with my win tip and was going to go with Bowman who at 28-1 looks a great ew bet, but i can't leave this alone at 66-1 having it's 2nd run after wind surgery. It's win and place ratio is pretty good and a wind op last time worked wonders with 2 wins, so just needs to do the same for this yard.

Heather Main hasn't really been firing yet this season, but she does pick her races and moments for her horses and this could be the race for Tanmawwy. Showed signs lto that a win could be near and is weighted right, right conditions, right trip and right class, so seems a win is on the cards.

I'm going to have a small ew on this one and make it my win tip on here. Is making handicap debut today and i'm always a bit warey when head-gear/extra head-gear go on and they go up/down a lot in trip, and that's what we get here. I suppose it did improve slightly from debut to third race and this is a 4yo, not a 2/3yo. Has a tongue tie added to the cheek pieces and this h/c debut is over a mile, having run debut over 5f and the next two over 6f, so trainer has enough excuses to explain if it wins today. Could be nothing at all, but will have a ew bet all the same.

Was involved in a decent little race lto returning from a short break. Finished strongly enough to make me like it's chances today, coming from way out the back to finish behind a row of horses to finish 1.5l behind in 5th over 7f. Back over a mile today and this is a better distance for Lisabetta who should at least get a place.

13-2 looks a nice price for this O'Meara trained UK raider here today. 6f seems to be the magic distance, with two 2nd's as a 2yo and has followed them with 3/3 this year. Was a decent 3rd lto at Listed level over the 5f, so back over 6f today has decent chances.

This is one that i've tipped before and doesn't always put in a decent effort, but is a bit high in the weights so maybe i shouldn't be too harsh. This short priced UK raider will take some beating here, but some are offering 4 places in this race and although i backed this earlier at a bigger price, i was going to just leave this race, then was going to tip the Aiden O'Brien horse ew which has drifted out, but i decided to go back to my original pick of Shamrock Breeze. Seems to have improved from the stable switch, winning a maiden at Down Royal and then following up with a decent 3rd in Listed company lto. Has ew chances at not a great price.

I'm going to take a chance on this triple figure priced gelding who was much improved lto from debut run and was right in the race until the last furlong or so and was eased when chance was gone. That was over 8f and clearly didn't get that distance and is dropped to 6f today which may well prove to his liking. Blinkers were tried lto and are disguarded today, but whether it was them, just greeness or a poor ride from the jockey, i don't know, but he was a bit all over the place and was still only 5l behind the winner. Am hoping this trip, the two race experience and a change of jockey all help today and is worth a small ew.

Turners Cross from Jess Harrington ran at Asot last month in a Group 2 and didn't look too out of place finishing midfield only about 6l behind the winner. Holds a Pheonix Stakes entry as well, so they think a lot of this horse and back in calmer waters today and with the benefit of having two races, the experience could well pay off today.

I liked Cugini's improvement from debut second time up when a 125-1 shot and came 2nd on g/f and although not so good lto, i'm hoping that was down to the going being softer than ideal, but it's back on a firmer surface today, so let's see.

Ran in two maiden hurdles last year, the first as expected for first run coming 10th/15 about 30l behind. The second race was much better, running in touch until the last couple of furlongs when 3 broke free of CC and a couple of others, but then one of the front 3 fell at the last and CC had to jump over the horse and ended up 4th/16 and about 20l behind those front two. Wouldn't have caught them but might have got 3rd and been a lot closer. Won a point race back in May and could now be a lot better than these triple figure odds. Small ew.

Okami is being over-looked here today and it does have to be said that since joining this stable from Roger Varian, he hasn't looked great. Won here over 7f back in September, finishing really well to beat a hot fav and looked even back then, that stepping up in distance would suit. Last race was first run this year and was over the wrong trip of 6f and was in a class 3, so forget about that. Class 5 today over a mile and if getting away well and gets a nice position and is now fit, could well pull off a shock. Is also 2lb under that last winning mark.

Normally find Classy Al at Ayr, but has run here once before, coming 3rd back in April on g/s. Does seem ok on any going, but imo is better on a firmer surface and is back in class 5 today. Won over this distance just 3 races ago at Ayr and followed that up with a 3rd place over 6f in June, so seems in decent enough form to put in a challenge.

Going to take a chance on 11yo dual purpose Lord Erskine, who's an old favorite of mine. Won a decent race over hurdles back in Feb, so is clearly still hungry for success and still seems to be enjoying racing in both codes. Ran in Listed company in last flat outing, but down in grade today and more realistic tbh, so has ew chances imo, even if the market doesn't think so.

I will also go with this Sea The Stars filly who cost 250 000gns as a yearling, but hasn't yet performed to the level of expectations. Debut run on the aw was ok in 5th, but way behind the close finishing first 3 and was very much eased down lto coming 8th. (prob would have been 5th/6th) Is with the right trainer and you would like to think that there will be improvement at some stage, maybe today. Ew for betting.

I am a little surprised at the market drift on this one as i believe it was half the price when i bet it this morning. Now 7-1 and will use as an ew tip, but i still quite fancy it to win. Seasonal and handicap debut 3rd in first time blinkers and followed up with a 2nd lto, both over a mile and i don't think this extra furlong today will prove a problem, in fact, it could well help.

This is another good ew bet here after finishing so well lto to come 5th and only about 3l down on the winner. The reason it was so good was because the start was completely blown and had a bad draw to begin with, so lost a good few lengths at the start and still recovered really well. Win bet here, but bet ew and now available at 40-1.

There are a few reasons to take a chance on Valjean imo here today and the first is, his price on debut was a lot lower than today at just 12-1. He was also playing up in the stalls before that race which also wouldn't have helped and has since been gelded. That race was well spread out, with a very comfortable winner, so was not given a true ride imo and not given a hard ride and it was also run on heavy going. Was not far behind Kaptain Bay who is 11-1 to 16-1 in this race and Valjean is 80-1 (got 100-1 last night) so take your pick on why this should run a better race today, because other than the fav, at a push, i don't really see any decent form in this race so is worth a small ew bet.

Will also take a chance in this race with Breathe Again on handicap debut. There are a few lto winners in this race (5), but i liked the improvement this one showed lto returning from almost 2 months off with first time cheek pieces,coming 3rd. One of my favorite trainers in Ireland and i'm sure that time off the track was time well spent working things out and i'm expecting even more improvment today.

This tip was in very decent company as a 2yo and was 3rd to Oaks winner Ezeliya in one of those races, but quite a few have gone on to do very well. I'm sure this wouldn't be this price if it wasn't it's seasonal bow, so this is a risk that this horse is fit and ready to go.

There is an odds on fav here who, out of the horses that have already run, should win this, but there are about 6 unraced horses in here from decent stables who could also show up. Nippy Nelly was slightly slow away and very slow into stride, but got a move on, and from her inside draw, passed a few and filled in about 7th/8th. Wasn't in position to kick for home when the front pair went, (blocked on inside) and don't really know what she had left, but a gap did finally open, but Siobhan tried for a gap on the rail which wasn't really there. Will come on from that run and could be worth a small ew at studid odds.

Not like me to pick one from this trainer as i always like to take him and Moore on, but i don't think there is much between his 3 runners here, but if i had to pick, i would say Port Fairy was the best horse, but has the worst jockey on top. Content is the pick of Moore, so they must know that this horse is very good over this distance, so why has she never run over it before? (the fact that Moore is on it is enough for me to swerve) So i'm left with this pick and if i'm honest, there are plenty of better choices, but it's the fact that the noises are that this will set the pace and if my ew tip runs as expected, this will not set the pace and could come blasting from off the pace like she did in the Oaks trial when a very close 2nd to my ew tip and if that happens, she does have chances, but this is a very long shot theory and stakes should be to a minimum.

Thought i'd get in early on the Irish Oaks and i think this opened up at 25-1 and is still 20-1, so looks well over-priced imo. I still have no idea why they ran her like they did in The Oaks, why change tactics when it worked so well blasting out in front in the trial. Got picked off lto, but she battles when challenged (like the trial) and was still close, finishing 4th and behind a couple who run today whose odds are over half this. I hope they've learnt their lesson and don't change again for this race, because she has a good chance of winning this and a decent chance of filling one of the 4/5 places on offer ew.

This is currently 100-1 and has been for some time, but is only 80-1 on here for some reason. There are many in with a shout in this race and i was going to go for something at lesser odds, but this could be won by almost anything here and Al Hussar had been steadily improving before getting off the mark at Donny. The last race imo was a bit of a joke and clearly had no intention of winning or even getting close . That smells of a plan for this race, coming in under the radar and with plenty paying extra places, looks a good ew play.

Was a winner when in the UK, but Irish form has been nothing to speak of. That was until returning from a 3 month break, after running on the aw through the winter, and seemed a different animal back on turf over c & d. Was involved in one of the biggest blanket finished i've ever seen and finished well in 7th, under 2l behind the winner and was 6lb out the h/c in that race. Should find this race a better fit and a similar run here to lto should see at least a place at big odds.

I was on this when it beat Road To Wembley, (who was on a good run if memory serves) on the aw at Southwell in the Spring and also had another win there also. Her turf debut didn't go as well as i'd hoped at the end of April, but that could have been the soft going that day, so will let that slide. My notes say that she was still green when winning, but might be a decent filly when she runs straight (hung left under pressure) and after a little break she returned last month coming 4th/5, but ran well and was not too far behind, but did seem a bit rusty from that break, but did not hang left, so must have been worked on. Class 3 today over 1m 5f and i believe she can handle both, but this does look a tough race and i am looking foward to seeing how she does.

Took a trip to Ireland for a Group 2 race at the Curragh lto and got upset in the stalls and finished 5th/5. The form of the win at Goodwood the race before has worked out well and showed decent speed, so if the stall problem doesn't happen again, should be in the mix here today.

3 runners in here for Richard Hannon and his No. 1 rider now finds himself on the biggest price. That is what caught the eye and after watching his debut run over 6f, something wasn't quite right in the middle of that race. Broke ok, but was then quickly into stride to be up with the pace, but at the cut away i don'y know if there was a stumble or clipped heels or what, but just seemed to lose momentum. Re-grouped and finished off well which is a good sign for this extra furlong and might be seen in better light today, but this does look a tough race with some strong stables running, so i've taken 4 places with skybet.

An old favorite of mine who has recently changed hands and has already had stable debut, which was better than the result looks, being only 2.5l behind in 8th. This might well have been my ew tip and probably should have been, but i got put off by being upped in distance today to this 1m 1f trip. Has already won this year, so is not passed it yet, but the market isn't strong and i guess it's an all or nothing bet really, will get the distance or won't, we'll have to wait and see.

Will take a chance here on Koji who seemed to cope well on g/s when last here over 6f last month, but was given a strange ride by a very poor jockey and it's good to see today that there is a jockey change. Has a win at 7f, but on the aw and turf form does look poor, but with a combination of reasons possible for that, distance, going and jockey to name just three, Koji could well show a bit more today and with 4/5 places on offer, looks a nice ew play at 50-1.

Out of the 3/4 horses i quite fancied in this race to take on this short priced fav with one of the most stupid names in the history of horse naming, i stumbled across this one that was in the same race as my recent tip Stontonovski in Ireland. Had a slow start filling in towards the rear and thefore didn't have the easiest trip with a wall of runners in front of him at the 2f pole, he finally got off the rail and was probably the fastest finishing horse on the track, making up plenty of ground in the last half furlong. That was on h/c debut as well and has been dropped 3lb for that, strangely, so imo has decent winning chances today if reprodusing that run from a better position, but at 11-1, could be one of the best ew bets of the day.

Not really a race to be betting too much on and with an odds on fav and a decent looking 2nd fav, there isn't much room for place money if they both run to form. The thing is, they both have poor draws and this one's not much better, but i'm hoping this one can get in behind if both the favs try to get out quick, hopefully too quick, and just sit 2 or 3 wide, because as CG found out lto here, getting stuck on the inside in big fields can be a tricky thing to get out of. Went backwards and around lto when no room, but finished well and that was a big improvement on debut run, which was also over c & d, so has two race experience over every other horse in this race as i believe no other horse has run here. Small ew.

The value bet here has to be Spring Chorus and i'm a little surprised Caramay is the current fav, as i would have thought the going is against that one. The next two in the market are the dangers imo, but SC, who was not so good on a firmer surface lto, is back on softer going today and has decent winning chances.
