Two poor runs this season and could well be on the downgrade, so I will give Swiss Army Officer one more try. 10 years old now, but wasn't given a great ride last time out when I thought a place was achievable. With a better ride today, could get into the top 6.

Short-priced favorite here, but there is each-way value about with so many places on offer. This one had been in form on the all-weather with a couple of wins before disappointing last time out back on turf. Was about 7 lengths back in 11th, but in my opinion, it was the distance of 1 mile 2 furlongs that was the problem. That's what it looked like with no extra in the last 2 furlongs, so this drop back to 8 furlongs should help today.

Can go well fresh as proved last year when winning this race, so would expect a decent run. I was disappointed with a couple of runs last year with inexperienced jockeys making errors and made note that will do better with a pro jockey on top, which we get today. Going not ideal is a possible negative, but although preference for some cut, does appear to run okay on any surface.

Very open race in my opinion, which is probably why I fancy so many to run well here today. But at the odds and for each way purposes, Mickey The Steel and this one look the picks for me. Won last time out on the all-weather following a 2nd place the race before and has run well here before and will like the going today. Each way for betting, although Love Billy Boy should be close at a short price.

More than capable of winning a race like this on this going, so I am a little surprised at this 66-1 price. Would have hopefully blown away some cobwebs a couple of weeks ago and has run well over C & D before, so has chances along with Tai Tam Bay and mentions in my win selection. Tricky race, so worth a small each way on some at longer prices.

I do think Island Girl is also a decent pick here, but at the odds of 9-1 versus 28-1, Billie Be Quick gets my vote today. Has had a fitness run over 5f and looked in that race, as well as the last 2yo win last year, like 6f will suit. Going should also be fine IMO.

One of only two who have already raced, and this one came not far behind Salacious. But in my opinion, it could be the better choice of the two, even though this is 125-1 compared to 28-1. All the usual trainers head the market, and no doubt at least a couple will be ready and decent. But Luna Beaux was slow into stride but got placed nicely in the race. When asked to go, it showed greenness and looked to take a couple of bumps, which stopped momentum, and then the race had gone. Could be a complete misread, but there are 4 places out there, and I'll chance a small each way.

Nothing special in three 2yo runs last year when at the Varian yard, but returned 4 weeks ago for a new trainer and made quite the impression on handicap debut to come a 3/4l 2nd to hot favorite Kamekist, with both well clear of 3rd. That was on the AW at Wolves, so will need to transfer that form to turf today and if so, has a decent chance.

Tried a new headgear combo last time out and seemed to be traveling well up front, but did seem a little unsettled by the hood restricting the view and seemed to swerve a little when asked for more. I saw enough improvement to make me think a better run is on the cards now, getting used to the headgear, but whether it's today... let's hope so.
