Camille Pissarro ran better than his finishing position of 11th suggests in the Coventry stakes at Rpyal Ascot ,Grp2.This one along with Cowardof thecounty look the two who will dominate here.We all know how A.P O'Brien can eak improvement out of his charges and Ryan Moore riding is always a plus as he is a master of tactics and getting a good position.

Elite Status improved smoothly through his races last season but then was brought back down to earth when entering the grp1 ring.His return race beating Relief Rally convincingly was impressive and he does not need much improvement which should be forthcoming as only a 3 year old to win here and go on to greater things.

This is not a race I would be having a decent bet on as a case can be made for every runner.I am only having a bet as its on the tele tomorrow and I like to be involved if i'm watching.It looks like he was just giving his owners a free day out at a top meeting last time so we won't worry about that run.Improved to win twice before that in decent style.Big weight her could stop him but has every chance.

I am taking a chance on Pickled Pepper at an E/W price .Ran a lot better tham previous efforts when 5th of 10 at Wolverhampton on the 8th of this month.This was her first run as a 3 year old after a 214 day break and she would have been closer at the finish if she hadn't been squeezed and forced backwards after a couple of furlongs.The step up to 7 furlongs is what she needs but the ground conditions and trainer form ( Dean Ivory)are a concern.

I think its fair to discount Gatwick Kittens last run in an Amateur jockeys race .Otherwise he is capable of winning off this mark as he showed this time last year.I think looking at the jockey booking a big race is expected from this well handicapped gelding.

I think Raheena is being slightly overlooked here after being beaten in an interesting race by 13.5 lengths on her comeback run at this course in May.In that race the first 2 raced like demons in a dual having taken advantage of their position.Raheena had a difficult passage, racing freely and swept to a wide berth on the bends.I feel this one will be much closer this time.

Wow,there is some serious talent on show here not least Inisherin who has been a revalation for Kevin Ryan and I'm so pleased for him as northern trainers rarely get the best sent to them.Swingalong has been the bridesmaid more often than the bride but she has a lot of class .Finishing 2nd in the grp 1 at Ascot in June was arguably her best run ever.good e/w at least.

Lethal Levi looks like a consistant sort who runs his race irrespective of ground conditions or track variations or even stable expectations.Can run well at big odds and then not so much when fancied. Usually needs a run or 2 but has been as good or even better than ever on his last 2 starts. Although not on his lowest weight he ran well twice when the stable were struggling and now they are flying can run a big race.

Ultramarine has won 4 times on the A/W since joining David Evans and no times on turf.Having said that his chances here don't look to bad.Was decent as a 2 year old but has faded since but looked to like some cut then and gets that here.David Evans does well at Chester and has coaxed this one down to a mark 6lbs below the last winning one.I wouldn't worry about the draw in 9,its not a bad draw over 7f.

Obviously this is an open race but although only a 3 year old Soloman looks to have an outstanding chance.Has a lot of scope for improvement and has already shown form after finishing 2.5 lengths behind Notable Speech in his 3rd and last race in Feb.Notable Speech went on to grp1 glory and Soloman was too keen for his own good.Up in trip in this class4 handicap off a very competitive weight he could be a good thing.

Judging by his knee action Blue Zodiac did extremely well to dominate the field on her first run on firm ground until surrendering a 2 length lead inside the final furlong.The forecast going at Yarmouth is soft which i feel will be a lot more suitable.You have to respect Hettie Jack and any of the others could step up after 1 or 2 runs but Blue Zodiac is the one for me.

Looking at the bare form you would give Godsend little chance but knowing how Sir Mark Pescott works puts a completely new light on this 3 year olds form.After 4 runs at maiden or novice level most from this stable start with a basement handicap rating and use this as a springboard to exploit the system.Godsend went off at 5/4 fav in his first handicap and finished down the field.They obviously thought he was good enough to win then so if we forgive him that run he must have a decent chance here today.
