Janna's Journey is one of three runners for Jim Goldie here. She has a tremendous record at Ayr, winning her last five races here. She is only 2 lb above the last win and goes on any ground. She has been racing in much better company than this, and at this level I would expect a place at the very least.

Profit Surge looks to be well out of this race on ratings, but looking deeper I think he has a decent chance. He is on the up, and the rest look like failures who are making their last throw of the dice.

Three-year-olds have a good record in this race, but I'm going for the four-year-old filly Lady Mairen. She has experience and has been brought along slowly by Paddy Twomey, who seems to know what it's all about.
