Krissy is lightly raced. While having zero success in seven turf runs, she has two wins and a second in four AW runs. She has won two and been second in her last three at Lingfield, Wolverhampton and Newcastle, so this surface will suit. It is usually wise to stick with a Jim Goldie handicapper in form, and they've travelled from Scotland to take part.

Von Krolock has only won 2 of 40 races, so not exactly keen. However, the majority of those runs were on turf in Ireland. Since joining this stable and concentrating on synthetics, there's at least been some encouragement. He achieved one of those wins, for instance (Wolves), 4 races ago. It seems that he is best suited by 6 furlongs but has seldom tried the distance, aiming at 7 and 8 instead. He has shown up well here too, so today's 6 furlongs in a race of very thin form could see him get involved late.

Both wins have been on an AW surface. Ran and won well, albeit in a poor race over course and distance off a mark of 62 in last flat run (April). Only 5 pounds higher here.

Glengouly caused a 33/1 shock here last time, making all from out of the handicap. It's doubtful they'll let him loose today, so he looks vulnerable. Twinjets is two-from-two, and the win at Newbury last time was impressive as he drew clear of the field. Seven pounds penalty looks OK.

The yard must have liked what they'd seen over fences, and they were right. Made all and won off 100. Only 6 pounds more here and will be fitter for that run.

Looks up to this step up in class.

Ski Lodge had Sole Solution beaten before the final fence last time when they were 2nd and 3rd. It looked a fair enough result, and given Ski Lodge can perform on good ground, he can go in again. The rival has only tried it on heavy, which seems the preferred ground for most of the trainer's horses.
