Bin Ajwad was winless in three before being gelded. Since then, and after a three-month break, he has come back and won both races at this course and distance comfortably. This second penalty takes him up 12 pounds from before the winning but he can still win. Bella Perla also chases a hat trick but has a bit to find on ratings with the selection.

Fortune De Mer was disappointing last term for the Skeltons, but they have seemingly ironed the problems out. Made a decent comeback run, then won last time out. Your Darling is the top-rated and superior overall, but it's been a long break (almost 2 years) and is making a return post 140 for the first time. It's a big ask. Neon Moon hasn't won in 6 runs since the mark rose to the 130s, and even at 129, has it to do here. Lord Baddesly won by 18 lengths on return but only in a 3-runner race. It might fall for Royal Jewel, who is reliable and has been in the frame in his last 6 runs in lower grade. Yard been in good nick of late, and this might be a value sporting bet at the odds.

Irish raider Ring Of Kerry has to concede weight all around but looks to be too experienced and superior to this opposition anyway, so should be able to. 2m 4f seemed to stretch him but came good last time over 2 miles when tongue-tied. Tongue tie remains and only 2m 3f against weak-looking competition may prove a good bet.

Idaho Sun ran well enough to win on debut following a 7-month break. Had a good record in bumpers and will strip fitter here with that under the belt. Doctor Blue also ran well enough on debut but was beaten a head by a more experienced Fortune De Mar (the Skeltons). Edged left that day but has a tongue tie for the first time now and gets five pounds off the rival.

Possibly overrated by the handicapper at first at 109, but the gradual easing to 94 brought about a first win, and it was this CD in mud. Chuggy was going nowhere over hurdles for the Skeltons but got off the mark last time in his 4th race for them, which was a chase debut. Looked confident and jumped well throughout to win over 2 miles at Uttoxeter. Extra 4f and softer ground now, but likely to stay given the strength of that run, and the trainer must be confident of that. Another Folly won over fences recently and made that three in all and definitely stays. Hard to see outside of the two.

Henrysbrotherjack is a typical Olly Murphy climber and is on a hat trick. Should be ready to go as most of the trainer's are.
