Bottom placed Wolverhampton outbattled European and domestic giants Liverpool to win fair and square. That was Wolves' second win on the run and they'll be tails up now. Fair to say a good FA Cup run would suit them a lot and they'll be up for this. The result at the weekend kicked Liverpool where it hurts. Worse, they lwere left looking confused. They have to face Galatasaray after the weekend and that now looks like an oncoming train. Their chance of winning a European trophy is slim at best and after Saturday's result their chance of automatic European qualification isn't looking as nailed on as it was not long ago. That too is now a fight to remain top 6. I'm thinking the manager will use this fixture as an excuse to experiment with some fringe players and rest the first choices for Tuesday. With Wolves using this game for much more and having home advantage it could be a long weekend for Liverpool.

Silent Strike and Bucklow bring good form, having won last time. Both have run well and won on Polytrack, and if they take to Tapeta they will go close. Soul Love won on debut and won well after being backed to 11.8 fav. She was clear by over two lengths at the line on Tapeta.

Everton have recently started to look more coordinated when attacking and have begun scoring more. Burnley have looked doomed for relegation for some time now and have seemed to suggest defending isn't the way to score enough points for survival, so they have upped their attack a lot and scored freely. That seemed to inspire some confidence and he still went off at 11/4 and won an easy three lengths. Gets the 7 pounds penalty, but that run suggests he's improved more.

Ran away from the opposition by six lengths over this distance on poly last time. Has won twice over 1m 4f too, so looks versatile in terms of surface and distance. Steps up now and has the handicapper to deal with, but is one of only two 4-year-olds against older, more exposed horses.

Birmingham City fans never know what to expect from their Jekyll and Hyde team's season. Just when they look resurgent, they get beaten in seemingly average games. They have home advantage here but took a hiding last time, 3-0, off Millwall. They owe the fans a performance. Middlesbrough's recent charge to the top of the table to oust Coventry was impressive but has hit the skids in the last three games with a loss and two draws. They are now clearly behind Coventry again but a couple clear of third place, so this is important if they want to cement automatic promotion.
