David Probert is reunited with Flatley, a horse he has won on before. It has probably been sent here, a galloping track over this distance, for the going. Last run, it exerted itself coming from the car park before that took its toll. The time before, it tracked the leaders before running on, so it still looks in form off this mark. It should not be this price.

It looks to me Slanagaibholeir maybe has had this meeting in mind when ridden by claimers in its last runs and has caught the eye in those. Looked a likely winner before a sniper took it out at the next to last, so this shorter trip looks good. I expect a front attack under new pilot Mark Walsh.

An Oliver's runner certainly looks overpriced in this handicap. If it can put it together from that hopefully good-looking last run, where it kept on from the back after a slowish start, and with that comeback under its belt, it can go closer in this.

Jeu de Pic led them a merry dance when hurdling very slick on its comeback run before the fire was doused 2 furlongs out and the jockey eased it home. The trainer, T Cooper, has recently had a few winners and drops it back two furlongs, and it gets a 2 lb reduction plus another 7 lb with the claiming jockey, T Joseph Kelly. Worth a good each way.
