20:00 Jannik Sinner vs Carlos Alcaraz

Carlos Alcaraz

Win Match

50 WIN

@2.62

Void

I could not pass by a bet for Carlitos. It is true that the more consistent player here is the Italian, but Alcaraz is leading with 9-6 in the direct encounters. Moreover, he is put in the position of complete outsider, and I see the chances of both here as 50/50. I go for the higher odds.

I really doubted that any of those two will win in straight sets. Only four of their 15 matches in the H2H ended in straight sets and one of their last seven. Sinner is pretty consistent, but the only player at the moment who can challenge him is Alcaraz. In my opinion, if the Spaniard is mentally solid enough, he can win this one, and my call is a win in three for Alcaraz.

Ben Griffin

@34.00

Griffin is playing the best golf of his life. He won the Charles Schwab Challenge and he posted seven top 14s in his last nine starts. A minus here is that he will make his debut here, but last week he posted a top 9 finish and I think that boosted his morale. My call is a win for Griffin.

Taylor Pendrith

Pendrith stands a good chance to play in East Lake with a good finish this week. He played three good rounds last week but faded on day four. Pendrith is in excellent form with the driver and needs slight improvement with the irons. Pendrith looks a sound each-way bet.

Adrian Otaegui

25 EW

@126.00

Lose

-50

The Spaniard is not long from the tee, but very tidy. He has an excellent short game and he is a good putter. His problem is the lack of consistency. Lately, he does miss a lot of cuts, but here at the Danish Championship, he missed just one cut in his last eight starts and posted two top 10s. He has five wins on the DP World Tour, and on triple-figure odds, I take Otaegui to win.

Andy Sullivan

50 WIN

@34.00

Lose

-50

I am always keen on Sullivan. He is an excellent putter and with the irons. In Scotland, he handled the wind pretty well, and the Englishman posted five top 17s in his last seven starts. Here, he made five cuts in a row with a worse finish of T40. I think the time is right for Andy.

Joakim Lagergren

25 EW

@101.00

Lose

Lagergren has one runner-up finish to his name this season, and in this weak field, he is priced well too. He likes to play here and has plenty of experience. He posted a top 5 finish back in 2016. Last week, he recovered nicely from a poor start, and I think he will use the momentum.

Johannes Veerman

25 EW

@67.00

Lose

-50

The American tends to play more in Europe, and he is one of the most capable players, which usually, as this time, is flying under the radar. His ball striking is in fine shape, and he just needs a good week with the putter to be in contention. Veerman looks like a sound each-way bet.

Marc Warren

Marc is my really dark horse this week. He has four wins on the DP World Tour and posted top 10 on the Danish Challenge at the end of May. Lately, he posted top 21 on the Scottish Challenge and top 19 on the Nexo Championship last week. Back in 2014, he won Made in Denmark, and I think Marc deserves a nibble.

Both teams are in poor form. Fortaleza lost six of their last nine matches and on the road they are 0-4-4. Fluminense are slightly better and they are 3-1-4 in the last eight matches. Fluminense are solid at home with 5-1-2, but I think the more valuable choice here is for three goals minimum.

The Italian is looking unstoppable and he might be, but I see good chances for Felix in this one on the represented odds. Sinner is yet to drop a set and he might well win this one without dropping one. Still, Auger-Aliassime won both previous matches and my call is a win for Auger-Aliassime.

I doubted that anyone, except Alcaraz, can beat Sinner in straight sets right now, and even that is a harsh task for the Spaniard. On the other hand, Auger-Aliassime is leading with 2-0 in the direct encounters, and he can be really competitive from the baseline. My call is a win in three for Auger-Aliassime.

Collin Morikawa

25 EW

@29.00

Lose

-50

Morikawa did miss the last two cuts, but before that, he has made five cuts in a row. He plays regularly here as he always qualified. His iron game is one of the best in the field, and the putter is usually letting him down. With a good week on the greens, I think Morikawa will post a top 6 finish.

Ludvig Aberg

25 EW

@26.00

Lose

-50

I am still pushing for Aberg, and I think the Swede will flourish here. Four top 23s in the last six starts look decent enough for me. Aberg managed to improve his iron game significantly in the last few months, and if Scheffler blinks, I think Aberg can win this one.

Sam Burns

@34.00

Burns is long enough from the tee and pretty accurate, which will be an advantage here at Southwind. Burns lost in a playoff back in 2021 and also was T5 last year. He made eight cuts in a row with five top 19s. Fingers crossed for the putter of Burns to be on fire this week.

Jordan is a player whom I ranked highly, and in spite of the lack of great performances lately, I still think he is capable enough. Back in 2020, he posted a top 25 finish here, and he has matured since. Earlier this season, Jordan was in contention more than once. Looks like a sound each-way bet.

Brown won in style at the BMW International this year in a stronger field. I think he is quite underrated in comparison to one of the main favorites, Penge. Brown is a two-time winner on the DP World Tour, and he should not be priced above 30/1. I take Daniel on each way terms.

This odd is looking valuable in my opinion. Two of the three matches of Slavia ended with three or more goals and both teams scoring. Ludogorets, in spite of the upcoming match with Ferencvaros, will seek the three points. I expect an experimental squad from the champions, and because of that, I take the over here.

Ludogorets will rest some of their players for the second leg of the Champions League qualifying match, but Slavia are in dire form. They drew from 0-2 to 2-2 in their first match. Afterwards, they lost after leading with 1-0 and played 65 minutes with a man more. The loss to Levski with 2-0 was expected, as I expect Ludogorets to win nice and easy here.

Novak is in the hunt for his first title. He has played here three times with no substantial success. His form is pretty solid with seven made cuts in the last eight starts. Novak's performance here was let down only by the putter, and with a good week on the greens, he can attack the places here.

Bud Cauley

25 EW

@51.00

Lose

Cauley is a phenomenal talent. He is excellent with the irons when competing in the USA. Here he saw three top 22s in the last five starts. He improved his game with the putter, and now he is sitting 34th in putting. I think Bud is a sound each-way bet.

Cameron Young

Young missed the cut last time out, but he had decent form prior to that - three top 7s in seven starts. He is a long hitter and rarely they thrive here, but last year Young shot round 2 of 62 and was second after the first two days. With a good week on the greens, Young can grab the title.

Chris Kirk

Kirk is a player who is very accurate, and that will matter here. He made the cut here in six of his last seven starts. He has three top 14s to his name in his last five starts overall. If Kirk shows his best with wedges, we may see him in contention for the title.

Tom Kim

I think this odd is quite good, and I will not miss a bet for Tom. He is not very long from the tee, but that is not a problem here. In his sole appearance here, he won the title back in 2022. I think returning to a place where he had positive memories will be an asset, and I back Tom Kim to attack the places at least.
