EAGLE LANDED has form when fresh and was competitive twice here at the back end of last year from today's mark or higher in the handicap. Could get close if fully tuned up and the stable have already banged in one nice price winner this month. Finished fourth in four of the last five races and there's a good return if he does the same again, but could fare better than that.

Saver on ANCIENT TIMES here, who is clearly the biggest threat to the outsider I've already backed. Won last time out and could well defy the penalty for an in-form stable, who give him another quick run in an attempt to strike whilst the going is hot.

SECRET HANDSHAKE will benefit from the return to turf and could well get involved if performing to the levels of last season's campaign. Only two pounds above last winning mark and only one click above a promising run at Sandown at the end of August. The last two all-weather runs have served to tune up for the turf season, so this one could fare better now.

MAY REMAIN is the other to consider in this one. One of the older horses, but these sorts are worth backing when they are in good shape. The yard gives him another quick spin after the near miss here last time out. Stays at the same weight too.

If you persevere with RED WALLS, you will hit eventually, and you'd still be staying competitive if you backed on each and every one of his 105 runs to date. He has won here five times and can still perform over this sprint distance. He has a tendency to pop in when least expected, so is given a whirl at this price and this reduced mark. The pace profile and draw don't look bad either.

FORTELEZA is forgiven for the last time out run as a 2-year-old as it was on the heavy ground at Haydock. I'll give her a look based on the run before that at Redcar, which was a near miss and on firmer ground and from only a pound lower in the weights. She hasn't run for over six months, but the stable does OK with them fresh. As she probably makes more progress at some point this season, I'll back her whilst she's this big a price.
