Small look at the Angels here, who are defying the odds to a degree of late, with some handy-looking victories. At their best, they are good enough to win this.

Rays are worth a shot, with the Dodgers not quite firing of late. I think they have every chance of getting past LA in at least one of the games in this series.

Ran well from the wrong side last time out at York, so Simba's Pride looks an obvious choice from the same mark and a lower grade to win again here.

Irish Dancer is a little hit-and-miss but is a previous winner here and claimer Zak Wheatley, who won on board the run before last at Catterick, is back in the saddle too. Could still have some wriggle room in the handicap, so is considered if you are prepared to forgive the last-time-out run here at the beginning of the month.

Let's suppose the last two runs for MISS WILLOWS were disappointing because the seasonal debut came off a long break, and the step up in grade and drop in trip weren't suitable at Ripon. She drops back down in grade here and gets similar conditions to what she had when winning at Redcar last September. Only a pound higher in the handicap for this, and this looks a weak race for the grade, so she might outrun this price.
