This looks an easier race than that, and he's three pounds lighter than the promising handicap debut at Catterick in April. Not sure what happened in the last run, but I'm prepared to forgive and forget that one, and hopefully the addition of cheekpieces does the trick.

If you are prepared to forgive the last-time-out run from Rage of Thunder, he has plenty of credentials that tick the boxes here. That run was after a long time off and over a shorter trip than usual, so it probably served as a tune-up. Very solid six-furlong form on the turf last year from higher in the weights, and he should be able to kick on this year at some point.
