Crown of India ran well for a long time last time out at Wincanton, back in November. Been off since then but has run well fresh in the past and drops to a very low handicap mark. Won a maiden at Worcester in June, and then failed to kick on. Given an each-way chance with a big return on offer if hitting the frame.

For the first time, when last seen at Stratford on handicap debut, Kings Soldier ran well, so could be worthy of a place if improving on that run. A pound lighter in the handicap for this, and this no-hoper might be more of a force on his second run after wind surgery. Certainly one worth keeping onside.
