Hot little debut season from heavily raced Dunkeld Dreamer, who wasn't far away on return to action at Musselburgh last time out. Drops a pound in the weights, so could be a danger if kicking on from that run. Potential frontrunner who looks overpriced, especially if continuing to improve.

Shabu Shabu returns to turf from a potentially workable mark here. Four pounds lighter than when finishing second at Pontefract in September. Both the all-weather runs this year have been over an extended trip, and he's never got on with artificial surfaces. Going and grade look fine, so there's plenty to like.

Poets Dawn is now 11, so it could be that this will be the season he loses his spark. He still seemed to have plenty of life on his reappearance run last time out. He ran well for a long time before fading, which can be forgiven on his first trip in over five months. He could well come on from that and is back to his last winning mark.

One of my longer shots, but I just think we can chalk off Dargiannini's last two runs. One was in a grade-up at the Cheltenham Festival last time out, and the other was also a pretty hot-looking race in this grade at Newbury. He returns here back to his last winning mark, back on firmer footing, and with the stable in pretty good nick. He's worth an each-way play.

Eligible is running pretty well and defying his age. He didn't look out of place in tasty-looking handicaps at Newcastle and Southwell the last twice. He drops a pound in the handicap and could still have some more winning to do. Plenty of solid course form in the back catalogue and plenty of each-way appeal.
