So, if you are prepared to write off the last-time-out disappointment at Sedgefield, then we've got place claims. Hard to win with, but plenty of place form and a good return if matching some of those earlier-season runs.

I wouldn't read too much into GOLDEN MIND's most recent run, as it was on the all-weather and would probably have served as a tune-up for the turf season. He had plenty of solid form in tougher races last season, so he has to be considered at this big a price because of that. His handicap mark is a touch higher, but this doesn't look as difficult a race as he's usually used to, so he could overcome it.
