Canaria Queen should come on from the seasonal debut and looks well weighted to get involved. She ended last season with a form line of 2-5-2-4 from a pound higher in the handicap, and it was a very competitive race when returning to action at Pontefract last time out. There is no data on the draw in a field this size, but hopefully she gets a good tow and can get involved.

Nell's Son may be the elder statesman of this crop and ran well at the beginning of this season, hurdling at Carlisle. That was in November in a higher grade, from ten pounds higher in the weights. He struggled when returning to chasing mid-season but took a step back in the right direction at Uttoxeter when back in this code last time out. Going shouldn't be a problem, so he claims if running to season peak.
