Whistle Stop Tour was really stepped up when chasing the last twice, so I'm prepared to chalk off the attempts at the Eider last time out. The run before that was also a bit of a slog in a competitive affair at Lingfield. Those were both over a longer trip, and now we come back to hurdling in the same grade and three pounds lighter than when last seen over this trip in January (finished third). A chance if the return here brings improvement.

Draw a line through the all-weather attempts since we last saw Brian on turf. His last run on turf was here at Newbury over seven furlongs, from two pounds higher, and ended in a narrow defeat. He looks fine at this distance and on this going and should be able to win at this level before too long.

This is a bit more of a chancer than my other selections, but a horse at this price from a stable that do well here stands out a little. On stable debut, Wrist Art's showing on the Tapeta at Southwell showed some promise from higher in the weights. Connections will probably find a solution sooner or later, so worthy of consideration at this fat price.
