Usual 3yo caveats apply here, but Powernap seems to prefer this trip and is considered from a reduced mark back on turf here. I'm willing to draw a line through the six-furlong and all-weather outings that have opened this season. Well drawn and capable of getting involved if running to the standard demonstrated in the debut season at Redcar last October.

Savrola is forgiven for the last-time-out run, which was, firstly, in a higher grade than normal, and, secondly, the first trip out since last July. He had been a hugely consistent sort before that last season and remains well handicapped. He almost certainly gets his own way from the inside draw here and is taken to stick around and place at least.

Capital Guarantee misfired last time out, but was up in grade and up in trip, so can be excused for that showing. The run before that was over this trip when he was narrowly beaten. Only a pound higher on this return and has a better draw, which he can potentially make count. Each-way claims if matching that run.

Panthere Noir took a good stride forward on her second start for new connections last time out. The same jockey is in the saddle here. If any further progress is made from the same mark, there's every chance of an each-way return. New headgear is being tried, which requires a leap of faith to some degree, but it is still awkward to work out.
