BUY SOME TIME was mixing it in some pretty tidy handicaps when winning a big-field race in Punchestown last year, and has dropped significantly through the grades since then. With that ability in the locker, there's some potential for him to bounce back at this level soon. He has now had a run after a lengthy break, so might come on and is considered each-way.

Lone Soldier is still a maiden but has run well in snatches over the chase fences at Market Rasen and is potentially handicapped to get involved at a big price. A pound lighter and in favourable conditions here, and has had suitors in the past, going off at shorter prices than this.

Bannister runs well fresh and returns to the same handicap mark as when finishing as runner-up at Market Rasen last September. Handles this going and grade and has plenty of consistency at this level, so might be able to outrun this price. We've got the extra place to aim at, too.
