Over Spiced handled the step up in grade yesterday, so I think he's worth a look here. It's interesting that connections have kept the run here at the time of writing. He will either be withdrawn or will be backed if he's kept in.

Forgiven the misstep while starting at Newcastle last time out, O Fortuna might fare better returning to turf here. Now three pounds lighter than when finishing fourth on handicap debut at Catterick last month, she could be a player if she runs to the ability shown then. A tongue-tie has been added, which could also improve her fortunes.

Gorey Gold raced in the Windsor Castle Stakes at Royal Ascot in his debut season, so was clearly highly thought of. He now returns to the turf from a potentially workable handicap mark. He was last seen on the turf, finishing second from two pounds lower at Doncaster in November, and might not have reached his ceiling yet. If the addition of cheekpieces does the trick, he could reach new heights.
