REBEL INTENTIONS blows either hot or cold, so at this price is probably worth a punt just in case we catch a going day. Last seen on firmer ground when finishing runner-up at Catterick on New Year's Day. That came from a pound higher in the weights with today's jockey on board. So there are a few boxes ticked, but we have to accept we could just get another disappointment.

At his peak last season Invitorio showed some promise from four pounds higher in the weights over this course and distance. He faded a bit after that and struggled on his return last time out, but should be better for that outing and might be able to outrun this price. He'll probably find his groove soon, so let's hope it comes here.

Strong chance for Yorkshire Glory to go in again here. The claimer has won on him before and negates the penalty for the last-time-out win. He also drops in grade, so looks the one to beat.

Pianoforte has taken a couple of steps back in recent runs, but they've reduced the handicap mark to well below a respectable showing over this trip just before Christmas. Another sort who is likely to bounce back at some point. He's now five pounds lighter than that run and is up against lesser opposition here, which sees a number step up in grade.
