Jack Channon's Sarabi is a daughter of Siyouni whose family has a good record on the all-weather. Having had the mandatory three runs to get a rating, Sarabi is making her handicap debut here off an opening mark of 55. She is also stepping up to seven furlongs for the first time. On her first two starts over the minimum trip, she was well beaten, but she was too green on her debut and then had soft ground as an excuse the second time out. She showed some improvement when keeping on to finish sixth on her third outing over six furlongs at Wolverhampton, so moving further up in distance looks likely to suit. Her trainer does not have many runners over the winter, but his only previous runner this month went close at Kempton last week.

Olly Murphy's horses have been in excellent form all season, and here he runs Happy Index, who has won her last two races. The six-year-old mare appears to have flourished since joining the Murphy yard. She is now running off a six lb higher mark than when winning at Market Rasen last month over two miles and seven furlongs. The extra furlong of today's trip looks ideal for her. The rise in her handicap mark is counterbalanced by the five lb claim of her jockey, Beau Morgan.

Here he runs Mill Street, who, having completed the mandatory three runs in juvenile company to get a rating, is making his handicap debut off a mark of 99 minus Callum Pritchard's seven lb claim. When last seen in public a month ago, Mill Street was an easy four and three-quarter length winner of a Juvenile Hurdle at Sedgefield. Connor King's Oscar's Brother won a listed hurdle race at Cork over an extended three miles last month. The ground was good that day, but he is proven on heavy ground as he won at Limerick easily over three miles in March. He is a strong stayer, and it doesn’t make sense that he is a much bigger price than the Willie Mullins-trained Paggane, who was behind at Cork. Connor King is relatively new to the Irish trainer ranks with the former jockey giving his brother Daniel King the ride.
