At about 12/1 he looks like an each-way bet to me.

Willie Mullins runs two in this year's Ascot Stakes: the favourite, Royal runner Reaching High, and my pick Bunting, who is a lot bigger price. Last year Bunting finished a staying-on three and a half lengths third to Beylerbeyi in the Cesarewitch at Newmarket, over a slightly shorter trip. Off a three lb lower mark at 18/1, he looks a sound each-way bet here.

Archie Watson has a good record in the Coventry Stakes, and his Siouxperb looks to have every chance in this year's renewal. On his sole career start at Yarmouth a couple of months ago, he was an easy four-length winner from O'Gorman, who has since won two novice races comfortably.

Following that win, he was raised nine lbs by the handicapper to a career-high mark of 85. He gets in here off the low mark of 38, minus the ten-pound claim of today's jockey. With four places being paid here, I think he could be worth a small each-way bet in the hope that he retains some of his old ability.
