Dermot Weld's lightly raced four-year-old filly Fingerpaint has only had three career starts. She won a seven-furlong Curragh maiden on her debut last season, before finishing an unlucky third in a Tipperary Group Three in August, where she was the victim of some serious interference at the furlong pole. On her final outing last year she was completely unsuited by the heavy ground at Leopardstown. Today, conditions will be more to her liking.

Twelve months ago, in what was just his second start for Ian Williams, Purest Time finished down the field in this race. He runs here today off a nine lb lower mark and can get a place at least. He followed his return to the turf at Windsor, where he came through from off the pace to win with a little in hand. Eddie Greatrex retains the ride, and I think he is a great each-way bet with five places being paid.

Gordon Elliott's lightly raced three-year-old Boston Max didn't show much in three runs last season, but since he began handicapping this season it has been a different story. He won on his seasonal debut under Chris Hayes at Dundalk in April and then dead-heated off seven lb higher at Chepstow last time. Both those wins came over the minimum trip, but he was doing his best work late on both times, so I can't see any problem with today's six-furlong trip.

Currently trained by James Barcoe, Half Nutz has been through many yards since the last of his six career wins over a seven-furlong trip at the Curragh back in 2022, while still an inmate of the Johnny Murtagh stable. Following that win, he was raised nine lbs by the handicapper to a career-high mark of 85. He gets in here off a career low of 36, minus the seven-pound claim of today's jockey.
