Both of Sara Ender's Mr Zippi's wins have come in two-mile bumper races, first here in May 2023 and then a month later at Market Rasen. His six runs since switching to the flat have been less successful, his best run coming when finishing third over a mile and a half here in April last year. He did produce an eye-catching run on his penultimate start here, keeping on well from the rear over a mile and a half to finish fourth. The last time out at Wolverhampton, he seemed to not stay over a mile and six furlongs. Rossa Ryan rides him for the first time tomorrow, and down slightly in trip and grade from his last run here, I think he has a great chance of opening his flat account here.
