The huge gulf in class was highlighted further in the 1st Test win at Lords. The West Indies have some talented players but the inexperienced batting line-up was no match for the England attack. France boast excellent credentials with Kylian Mbappe causing defences all sorts of problems this season for PSG with 27 in 29 league appearances. They lost a friendly to Germany in March but better to focus on their qualifying campaign in which they beat Netherlands twice and only failed to pick up maximum points after drawing their final game in Greece 2-2. Runners-up in the World Cup after losing on penalties to Argentina and every chance of gaining some compensation for that disappointment.

He scored twice in the 3-0 pre-tournament friendly against Ireland and remains the focal point for the Portuguese. England were a little more aggressive in the 2-1 win over the Netherlands picking up 3 cards with the Dutch adding another 3 themselves. Spain are likely to dominate possession and it will be up to the likes of Declan Rice and Kobbie Mainoo to disrupt that. Spain picked up two yellow cards against France and 3 versus Germany and the 4.5 line could be under threat

England are looking to bounce back from the series defeat in India but the scoreline probably flattered the hosts a little with England missing out at crucial stages of the series. West Indies represent a much easier proposition given they are more adept in the shorter formats of the game. All eyes on Jimmy Anderson for his final test and as we saw with Stuart Broad last year it would be no surprise if he rises to the occassion.

It doesn't take a genius to work out that all eyes will be on Jimmy Anderson in his 188th and final test match. He showed he retains plenty of ability in India taking 10 wickets for 335 runs in the 4 tests. He warmed up for his swansong by taking 7-35 against Notts for Lancashire and conditions should be ideal for him against an inexperienced West Indies team.

Musetti has had a real battle to reach this stage with 5 set wins over Taylor Fritz and Luciano Darderi. Musetti has battled his way to a first Wimbledon semi-final having dropped at least a set in each of his 5 matches. He will probably have the crowd on his side much to Djokovic's dislike but that may only inspire the Serb further.
