00:00 Antigua and Barbuda Falcons vs St Lucia Kings T20

St Lucia Kings

Win Match

50 WIN

@1.80

St. Lucia Kings are the reigning CPL champions after beating Amazon Warriors in the final. This will be their first game in this year's competition. Antigua have one win from two matches after beating Barbados in their last game. St. Lucia have won both previous meetings of these teams. With Johnson Charles leading from the front with the bat, the Kings have several high-quality T20 batters in their squad, which should prove too good for Antigua.

At Senegal, they will be aiming to finish this campaign a place higher in the points table than what they did over the last two years. They finished second in the standings both times. They have added some quality strikers to their squad and look set to push the likes of Liverpool and Man City hard. United have made several changes to their side over the last couple of months. Whether they work is debatable though. Go with Arsenal to win.

Trinbago to beat St. Kitts in their tournament opening match. The batting of St. Kitts has been disappointing so far in their two matches played, with only Andre Fletcher making a score of over 40. They will also be minus Evin Lewis due to injury. Trinbago reached the playoffs last year before losing in the Eliminator match. After being outplayed in the first test match versus the Lions, Australia showed great character to get narrowly beaten in the second match and then played superb rugby to win the third test. They had the likes of Skelton back for that victory, and their pack looked really strong. I think they can keep the Boks' forwards under control and give themselves a chance of winning this game. On the handicap, the Wallabies receive a 16.50 points start, which looks the value way to bet on this match.

Wednesday look in dire trouble financially, and that is reflected in the current lack of quality in their playing squad. They have to put several younger players in the squad. I think Stoke can exploit the defensive frailties of the home side.

Newly promoted Sunderland will have a long, arduous battle to avoid going straight back down this season. The hosts have brought in ten new players but have lost a couple of their more influential players as well. It may take them some time to find their best starting side. West Ham have also made numerous changes to their squad, but I feel that coach Graham Potter will have started to put together a younger, more athletic set of players, which could pay dividends. West Ham are unbeaten in the last eight head-to-heads and are my selection to edge it today.

Both of these teams are stuck in the bottom section of the points table with no chance of claiming a playoff berth. The Rabbitohs have had two of their last three fixtures end with only a two-point margin. Parramatta have done well against teams in the lower reaches of the standings. They have won six of their last seven against teams in the bottom half of the table. The Eels are in good current form, beating the Broncos in Brisbane and narrowly losing out to Melbourne Storm.
