15:00 Bradford v Leyton Orient

Bradford

Bradford have slipped a bit in recent weeks but are still in 4th place in the table. They should be able to get back on track today against a Northampton side that sit 2nd bottom of the table and have not won in five.
15:00 Derby v Sheff Wed

Derby

Derby still have hopes of a play-off spot and have won their last two home games. They should be able to beat a demoralized Sheffield side that sit bottom of the table with just one win all season and their last five games resulting in losses.

With Sheffield's away goals scored being very low and their overall goals scored being well under 1 goal per game, the odds are that they will lose this game to Niul. Derby do concede a little over 1 goal per game but should be good enough to keep a clean sheet in this match.

Sheffield score well under 1 goal per game and have lost their last 5 games. They will do well to get a goal in this match, as they have only scored 1 goal over their last 3 away games.
15:00 Ipswich v Leicester

Ipswich

Leicester are in free fall at the moment and have not won in 5. They sit second from bottom and face an Ipswich side that are third in the table and have won their last 3 games to nil. Home win for me.
15:00 Milton Keynes Dons v Harrogate Town

Milton Keynes Dons

Harrogate have improved a good bit in recent games but have still only scored 25 goals from their 36 matches. With MK Dons having scored 63 times and being at home and in great form, I must go with the home team to win this match.

The Scots may have dominated England in their win over that side, but they have no chance of competing up front with the French. The French have used that platform to launch many of their attacks, and they have yet to be tested apart from a short period against Italy. Even away from home, France should be too strong for Scotland.

Even taking into account Scotland's much improved form at home, this game looks sure to go to France. The Scots struggled to a slim and undeserved win in Wales, lost to Italy, and beat England. Even that win was helped by some ill discipline from the English. The French are unlikely to be as generous. The 10.5 start is just 2 tries extra for the French. That looks doable to me.

Mao Shang Wong may not have won a race yet, but it is getting really close to doing so judged on its last two runs. It has been given another good chance here by the handicapper and seems to be well drawn for a hold-up horse.

With Jack Kennedy coming to the track for the one ride on Western Walk, I will take that as a sign that the horse will go well. It has been running well enough over fences without really threatening to win, but it has some good hurdling form that reads well in this company.

England have got away with a lot in the qualifiers but now have to win against one of the best teams around. India came good in their latest match after an unimpressive start in their group, but they chased down 195 against a good West Indies side to qualify. With England sticking with an out-of-form Buttler they will be handicapped from the start.

Newcastle may have lost 4 of their last 5 games, but they are still creating plenty of chances. They should convert at least one of those in this game against a United side that still looks vulnerable in defense. Newcastle have conceded 13 goals over their last 5 games, so will have to be mindful of that.

Brighton did enough to get a much-needed win last week against an out-of-form Forest side that have not won in five. They look to have it all to do to hold Arsenal, judged on the form of both sides. Arsenal average 2 goals per game scored and only 1 conceded.

West Ham may have lost away at Liverpool on the weekend, but they did score two goals and had been on a good run of form before that loss. They should have every chance of getting a draw against Fulham, who were hanging on against Spurs in their last game. West Ham have been revived by their new manager and are now playing with purpose and belief.

West Ham #2-1

Fulham won their last two games but had been in poor form before that. They have conceded 10 goals over their last five games, and with West Ham back in form, they may well concede at least once in this match. They have been averaging just over one per game themselves, so this game should result in a score draw or away win.

20:15 Wolverhampton v Liverpool

Liverpool

50 WIN

@-249

Wolves did well to beat Villa 2-0 last week, but now face a Liverpool side that are finally getting back to something like their usual form. A win for Liverpool may well see them leapfrog Villa and go into 3rd place in the table, and that is a big incentive to win. Liverpool have won 4 of their last 5 games, with just a loss to Man City spoiling that run.
19:45 AFC Telford v Leamington

AFC Telford

Telford have scored 67 goals so far and sit in the play-off places as a result. They face a Leamington side that have lost their last five games and have only won four of the 33 games they have played. Telford have conceded 46 goals, so Leamington may well get a goal even though they are very low goalscorers. That should not stop Telford from winning this game, though.

AFC Telford & Yes (Result + BTTS)

Leamington have lost their last five games but have not been hammered in any of them. They average under 1 goal per game scored but may be able to get a goal in this match, as Telford have conceded 46 goals over their 34 games. That should not be enough to win, though, and the home side should score their customary two goals.
19:45 Rochdale v Brackley

Rochdale

Rochdale have drawn 3 of their last 5 games, and that form has seen them lose top spot to York. They can retake that spot with a win in this match, and they should do that against a Brackley side that have lost their last 3 games. Brackley average less than a goal a game and are just one spot above the relegation places.
19:45 Southend v Truro City

Southend

Truro have lost their last five games, and four of those losses were against teams around them at the bottom of the division. On that form, they will do well to beat a Southend side that have enough games in hand to climb comfortably into the top playoff places. A win here would do that. Southend lost three of their last five games, but all those losses were against teams above them in the table.
19:45 Spartans FC v Stirling

Spartans FC

Spartans have slipped a bit recently, but their 6-0 away win at the new leaders is still fresh in the memory. They face a Stirling side that score less and concede more than they do, and could only draw at home with 2nd-bottom Dumbarton last week. Two wins from their two games in hand would see Spartans go back to the top of the table.

Two sides that are very hard to predict right now. Brentford have been great away from home and won again on the weekend. Bournemouth have drawn 3 and won 2 of their last 5 games but have been very low recent goal scorers. Draw seems the safest option here.

Everton's home form is well below their away form, but they had a fine win at Newcastle last week. They face a Burnley side that have only won four times so far. Surely Everton will be able to get the one goal they need to get at least a draw from this match.

19:30 Leeds v Sunderland

Leeds

@-105

Leeds played really well in their last match despite losing 1-0 against Man City. They created so many good chances but failed to convert any of them. They must have every chance of beating Sunderland here, as that side have slipped down to 12th after a run of four losses in their last five games. Their squad has been all about defense, but they have conceded eight goals over their last four games as their squad tires this far into the season.
