Didn't get the clearest of runs three starts ago at Tipperary when in midfield over two miles. Stepped up slightly in trip next time at Ballinrobe and posted a much better effort in finishing a close-up 4th from a 2 lb lower mark. Matched that effort last time at Bellewstown again over 17f, after a short break, and having since moved to this yard won't be far away.

Sent off at big odds and finished in midfield under a very considerate ride on his debut at Tipperary and it was a similar story last time at Galway over a longer trip. Has raced at Worcester on three of his last four starts, and having been placed on his first two starts at the track, was then tried in a hood and tongue tie but ran a shocker. Those aids were quickly dispensed with ahead of his latest start at Hexham, and he bounced back to finish a close-up 4th despite a drop back to two miles. Back up significantly in trip here, kept to novice company, and is well worth considering.

Having won on her only start in an Irish point, she couldn’t have been more impressive when winning her first start for this yard, a mares' bumper at Newbury in March, with her jockey hardly moving on her. She ran a lot better than the form book might suggest on her return/hurdles debut at Worcester over two miles, unsuited by being held up in a steadily run race. She will soon leave that form well behind and looks an exciting prospect for this season and should be well suited to trips in excess of two miles.

Having made a winning start over fences he struggled with his jumping on more than one occasion after that so it wasn't a total surprise to see him returned to hurdling following a six month break. He ran well over the smaller obstacles in finishing 2nd, well clear of the 3rd and that should have put him spot on for this race, kept to hurdling.

Had run to just a modest level in a couple of bumpers before being sent over hurdles at Newton Abbot three starts ago over 18.5f. Only beat two of the other runners on that occasion but was given a considerate ride and then ran much better at this when 3rd over 20f, having been given plenty to do. Seemed unsuited by dropping back to 17f next time at Newton Abbot when only 4th but then ran no sort of race over 19f on handicap debut at Fontwell last time. Perhaps a return to this track will see her get back on track despite dropping back to two miles.
