A nine-race maiden, he has shown enough ability in handicaps, without winning, to suggest it’s only a matter of time before he sheds that particular tag. His shrewd yard are more than capable of getting more out of him in sprint handicaps and looked a shade unlucky not to make a winning return last time. A bit more luck in running sees him go one better and he remains one to have onside this season.

Having finished a close 2nd on his debut, he went on to win a maiden at Naas before ending his first campaign with a respectable 3rd place in a valuable sales race at the same track. He has raced over 7f so far, but there’s stamina in his pedigree. He should stay further and has scope for improvement.

Had been progressing slowly over hurdles and showed her best form so far two starts ago when a close 3rd at Clonmel over 20f, but then ran poorly at Thurles when pulled up, having never travelled. Ran a little better here last time, but now goes chasing over a much longer trip. Wouldn’t be out of this if getting in and bouncing back, having been placed in a couple of points.

Having shown plenty of promise on his racecourse debut at Navan, he put up a much improved performance next time when a 6-length winner of a big-field maiden at the Curragh in early November. Not seen since those two efforts, but he promises to make up into a decent three-year-old over this sort of trip or further.

Showed some smart form as a juvenile. After getting off the mark at the second attempt at Dundalk, he went on to land the Zetland Stakes at Newmarket before completing the hat-trick with success in a Group 1 race in France over 10f. Runner-up on her hurdles debut over three miles at Exeter, she was below that form next time at Warwick, where a steady pace and shorter trip didn’t appear to suit. She was then over a similar trip at Wincanton and ran much better when the heavy ground and that trip seemed to bring her stamina into play. She moved into handicaps last time but was unsuited by the steady pace. Hopefully they’ll go a better clip here, and if so she should go close.

Has shown himself to be a progressive staying hurdler. Having been off the track for eight months, he ran a cracker in the Long Walk Hurdle at Ascot in December, finishing a close-up third. He was very much on his toes before the race and built on that in the Stayers' Hurdle at Cheltenham last time when the race wasn’t run to suit. Hopefully they’ll go a strong gallop here, and with a first-time tongue tie he looks the one to beat.

Posted a couple of good efforts on the flat when trained in Ireland and has taken well to hurdling since moving to this yard. Was 2nd at Exeter on his debut but raised his form a notch when finishing a close 4th in a Grade 2 race at Cheltenham next time. He then ran better than the result might suggest at Kelso when not jumping fluently but still finished a respectable 4th. A better round of jumping enabled him to finish 5th in the Triumph Hurdle at Cheltenham last time, and a similar effort should see him in the frame.

Been showing slow but steady improvement since returning to action following a seven-month break and put up his best effort this season at Sandown at the beginning of January. That saw him finish 2nd over two miles, but mistakes impacted his performance, and he was an early faller over the same C&D on his next outing.
