Placed in a couple of Irish points, there was promise to take from her rules/hurdles debut at Catterick in December when she was 4th over two miles. She was below that level three weeks later at Taunton, finishing in midfield over an extended two miles, but has posted two improved efforts since at Ayr and Exeter, both on heavy ground. There should be more to come, and she is worth a second look.

Wasn’t he well supported in the market when making his racecourse debut in a one-mile minor event at Newmarket in mid-October? He ran better than the market suggested, despite showing plenty of greenness, to finish a close 2nd without coming under too much pressure. He appeared to match that form on his return in a 10f maiden at Doncaster last month, and there should be more to come.

Has taken well to hurdling. After a promising start over hurdles at Newbury, he improved back at that track next time when finishing 3rd over two miles. He moved up in trip at Ascot three starts ago, which produced further improvement, before running respectably at Doncaster over a slightly shorter trip. He put up an improved performance at Kelso last time, finishing 3rd in a Grade 2 race over 18f. A reproduction of that sort of run will see him go close.

A well-bred individual. He made a highly promising racecourse debut over a mile at Newbury in October. He improved on that at Doncaster over 7f when losing out in a photo finish, caught late on as lack of peak fitness may have told. There should be a fair bit of improvement to come this season, and he looks to hold strong claims here.

Ran to a modest level in bumpers and did so again on hurdling debut at Southwell in a two-mile novice in early February. No show over an extended two miles here two starts ago, but seemed to improve for a step up to 20f here last time when a respectable 4th of 10. Kept to that trip now for handicap debut off a modest mark, and improvement should be forthcoming. Interesting runner.

Proved to be progressive in handicaps as a three-year-old, winning twice and running well in defeat on several occasions. Made his return to action in the Lincoln at Doncaster but wasn’t suited by being held up early, and in the circumstances did well to get within 4 lengths of the winner. Stays a mile and looks to have every chance of regaining the winning thread.
