Looked a shade unlucky two starts ago over 5f at Pontefract when only 8th of 13. He was finishing well, having been badly hampered at a crucial part of the race. It was a similar story last time at Musselburgh over the same trip when a close-up 5th. His mark has fallen to an attractive-looking one and can go close here with a smoother passage.

Having won over 5f at Wolverhampton in March, he had been below that form in three subsequent starts. He didn’t have the best of runs last time here in a Listed event. Back in a handicap here from a lower mark, he could sneak into a place at big odds.

Having made a satisfactory debut on the AW at Dundalk in March, he stepped up considerably on that run when beaten less than a length in a similar race at Gowran next time when switched to turf. He made a quick switch to handicaps last time at Naas, only losing out by the narrowest of margins over a mile. He has a 4 lb higher mark to contend with here but, with the yard going well, can reward each-way support over a similar trip on his English debut.

Didn’t show a great deal in his sole bumper start, but showed a lot more on his hurdles debut at Carlisle back in February when keeping on nicely to finish 2nd over 17f. Ran poorly here last time when stepped up in distance. He was found to have had an irregular heartbeat after the race and has been given another break since then. Back at two miles here, and providing all is well, won’t be far away.

Had a successful two-year-old campaign and has continued that in his two starts as a three-year-old. Having won on his return, he was a very close third over an extended mile trip at Haydock next time and followed that up with a creditable effort at Chester. He may have further improvement in him, so ignore him at your peril.

Having pulled in a bumper on her only start in Ireland, she was sent over hurdles for her debut for this yard at Newton Abbot over 17f. She wasn’t given a particularly hard ride then, and there should be more to come. She can reward each-way support.

He was a bit of a disappointment on his return at Ascot, but perhaps needed the run more than the market expected. Looks one to follow this year in decent sprints and can bounce back here.

Proved consistent as a three-year-old and returned in a listed event at Leopardstown in April when a close-up 5th of 11 on what was his first start for eight months. He failed to build on that back there last time in a similar contest. It seems he’s in here to act as pacemaker for the stable’s more fancied runners but could get an easy, uncontested lead and hang on for minor honours.

That was over the same trip, and she was only collared late on to finish a respectable 2nd. She again ran well back there on her return from a six-month break when stepped up to 10f and won’t be far away if kept to that same trip.
