Had run to a similar level in three novice events without troubling the judge before moving into handicaps at Ballinrobe, but shaped as though all was not well with him. Had been off a couple of months before returning over 22f last time at Galway, but again failed to complete. Has a bit to prove now, and hopefully first-time headgear might do the trick. Wouldn't be out of this if it did.

Was given a hard race as he stayed on into 2nd, and stepping up in trip looks to have been found a good opportunity to get off the mark.

Had been sent off at big odds in her first two starts over hurdles but had shown an aptitude for the game and improved on her debut effort when finishing a close 2nd at Worcester over two miles. Looked sure to go close again over the same course and distance next time when coming down three out, and it was a similar story back there last time but over a longer trip. Clearly comes with risks, but back at two miles and with a change of jockey, she can go close.

Eased slightly by the handicapper before his latest run at Punchestown and got back on track in finishing a close up 3rd of 17 over two miles. Goes chasing now and worth a second look.

A useful hurdler at Group level and returning from a six month break made a very promising debut over fences in a similar race at Gowran at the beginning of the month over 20f. Travelled well for a long way then and can hopefully build on that here although the drop back to two miles is a little concerning.

Has already shown some useful form over hurdles and ran a lot better than the bare result might suggest at Listowel two starts ago when given too much to do over the two-mile trip from a mark of 118. Up slightly in trip last time at Downpatrick and ran well to be beaten less than a length back in maiden company. Similar company here and won’t be far away with a similar performance.

Having won an Irish point, he moved to this yard and made his debut for them in an extended two-mile bumper at Mkt Rasen in February, winning cosily having gone for home at halfway. A pretty useful hurdler at up to 18f, winning twice last year having won only start in a bumper. Had shown form in points prior to rules debut and looks the sort to do just as well over fences as he gains experience and shaped promisingly on debut over the larger obstacles last time at Uttoxeter.

A useful hurdler, he has been in fine form recently and was a respectable 3rd over 17f at Killarney two starts ago before filling the same position at Listowel when finishing the race off well. Likely to be suited by both the step up in trip and stiffer track, and seems unlikely to be far away.

Won his first two starts last season, most notably the Gerry Feilden Hurdle at Newbury, racing off a mark of 120. His final start of the season was back at Newbury, where he was spotted making strong late headway to finish 3rd over two miles while sporting first-time cheekpieces. Should stay further and remains one to have on side this season.

Only beat two of the other runners on that occasion but was given a considerate ride and ran much better at Sedgefield next time when 3rd over 20f, having been given plenty to do. Seemed unsuited by dropping back to 17f last time when only 4th but is likely to improve again back over a more suitable trip for handicap debut and holds decent claims.

A well-bred individual who has just had the one start so far and, looking in need of the experience, managed to win his sole start, a bumper at Hereford. Although the form doesn’t look anything special, the runner-up managed to win later in the season. Likely to do a lot better over hurdles and looks interesting.

An Irish point and dual bumper winner he took really well to hurdling last season. He won twice and also finished 2nd in the Challow hurdle at Newbury before ending the season with a respectable 5th place finish in the Albert Bartlett at Cheltenham in March. Has the look of a chaser and it will be interesting to see how he progresses over the larger obstacles.
