Hasn’t stood much racing but hinted at retaining a fair level of ability two starts ago in a three-mile handicap at Ludlow, having been well supported in the market. He was raised 4 lbs as a result of that ahead of his latest effort at Lingfield, where he finished 2nd on a belated return to chasing. He looks to have solid claims here, kept to fences and stepping up in distance, which should suit him.

Was back over fences for the first time since joining this yard. Ran poorly on the previous try, and this time showed promise for the future. Was held up this time and jumped well to finish a never nearer 2nd over 20f. Can hopefully build on that here despite the drop back to two miles.

Made the frame in three bumpers and, returning from an eight-month absence, was sent straight over hurdles at Wetherby and finished a close 2nd over a slightly shorter trip, doing good work late on. Ran to a similar level last time at Doncaster and seems certain to improve again despite the slightly shorter trip, and holds solid claims.

He has been raised a further 5 lbs by the handicapper on the back of those two runs but is still certain to be bang there at the line.

Made a pleasing return to action at Aintree last month, having been off the track for 7 months. Travelled well in that 21f chase over the National fences and looked to have more to give at the line. Showed the benefit of that run last time at Ascot when beaten in a three-way photo up to three miles in distance. A slightly longer trip here should be fine, and one to seriously consider.

Had run to quite a useful level on the Flat before joining this yard and being sent over hurdles, where he has shown promise in both of his starts so far. His latest start was in a better race than this, and he finished the race off well despite pulling hard. There’s a lot more to come from him.

Having made a winning start over hurdles at Galway, he looked likely to follow up that success back there next time over a longer trip when coming down at the last. Up in class last time at Cheltenham, he was well below form over a similar trip but on heavy ground. If all is well, he can reward each-way support here back at two miles.

Was back from an eight-month absence when finishing a close 2nd in a 17f handicap at Newton Abbot in October. He kept on steadily after having pulled hard early on. He improved further over this C&D two starts ago, beaten by less than a length after making a mistake at the last flight. He posted another good effort from a 3 lb higher mark last time at Ascot and looks sure to go close.

He looked to have a lot more to give at the line and stepped up on that effort last time at Cheltenham. Had been off six months when returning in a 20f handicap hurdle at Chepstow last month. Finished in midfield then but was only beaten seven lengths and appeared to have more to offer at the line. Harry Skelton took over from a 7 lb claimer next time in a Grade 2 contest at Wetherby, and she ran well to finish a close second. She made the frame again last time at Newbury in a similar race despite being given plenty to do, given the way the race was run. She drops back in distance here but is expected to be bang there.

Quite a useful flat performer at up to 10f and made a promising start over hurdles when fourth in a small field over two miles at Punchestown, despite appearing not to be suited by the heavy ground. Departed at the first next time in a much better race than that and was below form in class again last time at Leopardstown. Remains capable of better than she’s shown so far, and this drop in class should see her in a more positive light.

A useful flat performer, he moved to this yard and had his attention turned to hurdling when making his debut for them at Leopardstown three weeks ago. He jumped pretty well and was staying on nicely at the end of the two-mile trip, finishing 5th in a big field. He should have more to come and looks to hold strong claims.
