A winner of three of her races as a juvenile, she ran as though the race was needed on her return in a 6f handicap at Newmarket in the middle of April. She improved on that performance when a close-up 5th of 9 at Ripon next time but has failed to build on that from a falling mark in her last two starts, including when dropped back to 5f at Musselburgh last time. She needs to bounce back but is not out of this if she does.

She's a really smart mare who did well in some big races last year, including when a fine 2nd in last year's King George. Returning from a seven-month break, she looked as good as ever in landing a Group 3 race at Newbury. She has an enviable record at this track and looks sure to go close.

Having shown promise on his debut over 5f, he built on that in his second start when he seemed well suited to stepping up to 6f. He had to wait for a gap to appear, but once he got it he quickly put the race to bed. There could be a lot more to come and he can reward each-way support at big odds.

Had been kept busy on the AW at the start of the year, running respectably without winning. Switched to the turf at Naas at the end of April and ran better than the finishing position of 7th might suggest. Didn’t get the breaks during the race. Had been eased a couple of lbs by the handicapper ahead of his next effort, where the step up to 6f didn’t see him get home and he faded inside the final furlong. Much better back at 5f last time, and over the same trip here looks a player.

Is running consistently at present and has been placed in his three starts since returning to action. He's not always the easiest-looking ride, but handicaps such as this should play to his strengths and he is well worth considering.

Made a pleasing debut in an extended mile maiden at Beverley in April and had her attention switched to the AW next time at Kempton, dropping back to 7f. That combination failed to bring about any improvement, and connections returned to turf at Leicester where she ran much better, beaten under two lengths when 5th of 10 over 6f. Her handicap debut last time at Goodwood wasn’t as bad as it might look, with the heavy ground clearly a contributory factor. Hopefully she can build on that here on more suitable ground, with the drop back to 5f unlikely to be a problem.

She finished the race off well, having been poorly placed, and has to be on any shortlist racing from the same mark. She is likely to have a strong gallop to aim at.

Ran well as a two-year-old, winning three times. The final one came at Newmarket in September when landing the Middle Park Stakes over 6f. He was a bit of a disappointment on his return at Ascot, but perhaps needed the run more than the market expected and duly improved last time back in listed company at Newbury. A good gallop here will suit, and he is one to consider.

Looked in need of the experience when sixth of eight on racecourse debut over 12f at Salisbury at the beginning of May. Was below that level in a tougher race at Haydock next time before finishing second of two at Yarmouth last time when faced with an impossible task. Had run to a similar level in the four starts ahead of his handicap debut last time, all over 10f. He wasn’t in anything like the same form for that handicap debut when tried in first-time blinkers, only beating one other runner. He goes up to 12f now in a non-handicap, and with cheekpieces replacing blinkers he could go close if he puts it all in.

Made a pleasing return over 10f at Bath following a six-month break, finishing a close-up 3rd. Seemed to appreciate a slightly stiffer track next time at Beverley when beaten in a photo finish over the same trip, and then ran creditably at Windsor. Kept to 10f at Redcar last time when a close 2nd, and looks a strong player here.

Made a promising racecourse debut at Doncaster in April when third over 5f, shaping as though improvement would be forthcoming. She had a lot to find to beat the very short-priced favourite next time at Hamilton, but wasn’t beaten far in chasing that one home. She moved up in trip last time at Doncaster but failed to give her running for no obvious reason. She still has scope for improvement, so might be worth taking a chance on here back at 5f for her handicap debut.

A smart performer. He ran a cracker in this race last year when a close fourth, having encountered traffic problems on more than one occasion. Did well to finish as close as she did two starts ago at Bath when finishing well after she finally managed to get a clear run. That was in a listed event over 5f. She stepped up on that last time at Newmarket and did well to finish as close as she did after a slow start. That was a Group 3 contest. Although this represents a further step up in class, if she gets away smartly she could go close at big odds with a clear run.
