Made the running then and ran well at Aintree last time, when he was just a bit too keen when hitting the front. Made a promising racecourse debut at Doncaster in April when 3rd over 5f, shaping as though improvement would be forthcoming. Had a lot to find to beat the very short-priced favourite next time at Hamilton but wasn’t beaten far in chasing that one home. Moved up in trip last time at Doncaster but failed to give her running for no obvious reason. She still has scope for improvement, so might be worth taking a chance on here back at 5f for her handicap debut.

Rarely seems to run a bad race these days and was an excellent 2nd on his return to action at Pontefract two starts ago following a short break. That came over 5f, but she failed to build on that over 6f last time at Doncaster. She can hopefully get back on track here kept to 6f and should go close.

Made his racecourse debut in a 7f maiden at Catterick in April and ran a lot better than his SP of 40/1 might have suggested. He was finishing the race off nicely without coming under too much pressure, but he hasn’t built on that in two subsequent starts at Thirsk. Last time he was switched to the AW at Southwell. He is dropping back to 5f here, a trip which might not suit, and needs to bounce back to sneak into the frame before presumably going down the handicap route.

Had been kept busy on the AW at the start of the year, running respectably without winning. Switched to the turf at Naas at the end of April and ran better than the finishing position of 7th might suggest; didn’t get the breaks during the race. Had been eased a couple of lbs by the handicapper ahead of his latest effort, where the step up to 6f didn’t see him get home and he faded inside the final furlong. Can do better here back at 5f and can go close.

Had a spin over hurdles next time and again ran okay, then was disappointing back on the flat last time at Catterick. Back over hurdles here and looks interesting and worth supporting.

He made a quick switch to handicaps last time at Naas, only losing out by the narrowest of margins over a mile. He is back in maiden company here, back on the AW over 7f, and looks the one to beat.

Looked a shade unlucky two starts ago over 5f at Pontefract when only 8th of 13. He was finishing well, having been badly hampered at a crucial part of the race. It was a similar story last time at Musselburgh over the same trip when a close-up 5th. His mark has fallen to an attractive-looking one and can go close here with a smoother passage.

Ran poorly here last time when stepped up in distance. He was found to have had an irregular heartbeat after the race and has been given another break since then. Back at two miles here, and providing all is well, won’t be far away.
