Showed a bit on racecourse debut at Tipperary three weeks ago when 3rd in an extended two-mile maiden hurdle. Was never nearer than at the line, and although a longer trip would probably suit better, can improve enough to run into the places.

Has already shown some useful form over hurdles and ran a lot better than the bare result might suggest at Listowel two starts ago when given too much to do over the two-mile trip from a mark of 118. Up slightly in trip last time at Downpatrick and ran well to be beaten less than a length back in maiden company. Similar company here and won’t be far away with a similar performance.

Was returning from an eleven-month absence and having his first start for this yard when a promising 3rd in a 6f handicap at Newmarket. Was a bit keen early on then, and it was a similar story last time at Brighton. But hopefully, that won’t be the case here, and the shorter trip may also be a positive, so worth considering.

Won on his only start in Irish points and has finished runner up in his three starts in bumpers, all last season. Returns to action following an eight month break and straight over hurdles is well worth considering with top jockey taking the ride.

A useful hurdler at Group level and returning from a six month break made a very promising debut over fences in a similar race at Gowran at the beginning of the month over 20f. Travelled well for a long way then and can hopefully build on that here although the drop back to two miles is a little concerning.
