Seemed to appreciate the extended three-mile trip at Aintree three starts ago when finishing a close 2nd on his handicap debut, losing out late. Raced off a 3 lb higher mark next time at Ascot and wasn’t disgraced despite only finishing 5th of the nine runners. He ran to a similar level at Gowran, where a bad mistake at the last didn’t help. Looks interesting here now, switching to fences for a yard that has been going well recently.

Plenty to like about her hurdles/rules debut at Huntingdon in December when she was a close 2nd in a 21f novice, but she failed to build on that last time at Warwick for no obvious reason. This Irish point winner is in good hands and probably has a lot more to give. She looks a strong player with her yard currently in good form, if all is well with her.
