A smart performer on his day, winning his last two races at Lingfield in January. Usually races off the pace and seems best in smallish fields, be that on turf or the AW. Has had a nice break since, and hopefully he can continue in the same form now the main flat season has started.

Was having his first run for six months and his first run for this yard when only 8th of 12 in a 6f Listed event at Doncaster last time. He wasn’t beaten that far, and the run was probably needed, so better is expected here.

His first run for this yard, following a move from Ireland and a six-month break, was an encouraging one. Settled in midfield, he had to be pulled out to challenge, but once in the clear he kept on nicely all the way to the line. He is quite lightly raced for a five-year-old and shouldn’t be long in getting off the mark for his new yard.

He was staying on all the way to the line on that occasion, suggesting this trip might be on the sharp side for him. Hopefully he’ll get a strong pace to aim at, and with the yard in really good form, he can’t really be discounted.
