Is a real big price dropping considerably in grade as has contested two Grade 3's on last two starts. Not disgraced in either and this is a significantly easier grade. Two wins on second and third starts after an inauspicious debut show has talent and I think has a better chance than odds suggest.

Got to have a chance on best form here as was a cracking second on debut at the track to subsequent Group 2 winner Royal Fixation. Backed that up by winning here on next start and has to be given a chance coming back to the track. Took on Group 2 company on final start and though cut no ice there is a talented horse. Should strip fitter for pipe opener at Beverley and will enjoy faster ground now. Yard going well and is a massive price given course form and obvious talent.

Highly thought of as a youngster last year as after winning nicely on debut took on a Group 3 in France and though cut no ice there bounced back by winning next time at Goodwood. Form tailed off towards the end of the season but caught my eye running well in a fillies handicap at Yarmouth last time and was just behind Zighy who has since run a cracker at Chester to be third in a good race. Looks on a fair mark if bouncing back to best and yard's runners are all going well now and has rattled the cross bar today with four seconds.

Ran well behind Valiancy last time at Hamilton and caught the eye plugging on and this Northumberland Plate entry must be on the shortlist. Is better on the all weather but has won on turf and is worth keeping an eye on him. Looks well handicapped on best form as if was only last summer split Santorini Star and Almuhit in a competitive 2m handicap and is only 3lb higher now. Definitely got talent and has got a squeak.

Have to have a saver on this one who was just behind Artisan Dancer in that Valiancy race at Hamilton and caught the eye staying on nicely. Back on the same mark as when bolting up at Newmarket a couple of years ago and though hasn't won since has run well enough times. So much better off at the weights with Artisan Dancer and dropped a couple of pounds could go well. If I fancy one have to back the other as both can go well. Another Northumberland Plate entry.

Would have a right chance if could reproduce Shergar Cup run from last season at Ascot. Is 2lb lower here and is tge first time he has had 6f on fast ground since which seems optimum conditions. Ran a cracker when last seen last backend when fourth in a competitive handicap on soft ground at Doncaster and if breathing op works the oracle. Nicely handicapped and one to have a potshot at as if the op works is well handicapped on best form. Yard had a nice sprint winner yesterday.

Classy sort at best and this Wokingham entry has to be on the short list. Yard's sprinters are flying and stable have been in cracking form in recent days with a lovely sprint double yesterday. All three sent out at Thirsk today have run well and this decent horse can go well off a fair mark. If new yard can improve this one after a couple of runs then he has a mighty chance and has caught the eye on both starts this season finishing well without being knocked about. Ready to strike for in form yard.

Very lightly raced and the fact connections have kept her in training suggest there is a race in her. Best form was a couple of years ago when beating a good filly in Miss Cynthia before finishing second to the very decent Sixandahalf and on that form would eat this lot. Fast ground around this trip are perfect and looks well handicapped on best form. Showed retains ability after finishing 4th at Newcastle in March staying on nicely without being knocked about. Catches my eye that the top notch Alice Stevens who bolted up in this race last year on Gone In Sixty rides this last time out winner instead. This one is 4lb higher than win at Market Rasen but Alice's 3lb off negates most of that. Yard in good form and have had four winners from their last 14 sent out and this one will love the fast ground. If Alice knows something that's good enough for me and she picks this one over one who bolted up in this last year. Hopefully she did have the choice!!!!!

Yard in good form now with four winners this month from 17 runners with plenty of places thrown in too. This one ran well at Uttoxeter last time behind the smart enough Pony Soprano and this race looks a tad easier. Consistent and won well last back end and though 5lb higher has dropped a couple of pounds after recent spins. Jumps well and relishes good ground so with yard in good form looks a good bet. Only a 7yo and in this grade is a decent yardstick who always seems to run his race. Stays well and is a good jumper so with trip and ground perfect can finish the month off in style for in form yard.

Last year's winner veteran Getaway Jewel has to be respected but had the benefit of a run last year. The unexposed Not For Passin could be well named as looks the play for me on handicap and chase debut. Was second in a PTP to a nice sort now with Neil Mulholland who now rated 121 over hurdles. Then won a bumper from a sort who had won two NH Flat race himself since too. Fell on hurdles debut when just moving into the race but then finished a good second before flopping on reappearance at Ludlow when last seen. That was a better grade though and dam has produced 115 rated winning chaser Glory And Honour so no surprise connections have sent this one straight over fences. Course win on reappearance showed has trained on and from a draw that should be manageable has a cracking chance. Won the Group 1 Furturity on final start last season and had the subsequent Chester Vase winner and Dante second behind that day so form is stacking up now. Is unbeaten since debut and I actually fancied him for the Derby next week so fact comes here where won a key trial is significant. Soumi on again who got a nice tune out of him last time and I like his battling attitude. Trip looks perfect and though doesn't look stable first string has a better draw than Constitution River and that valuable course form. First time visor on and given form shown already if that brings any improvement has a major chance here.

Well bred sort who has been in good form on the all weather in staying races and as holds a Northumberland Plate entry maybe that's where his future lies but trainer will want to win a hurdle race on the way even to just go to that target in good form. Was PU on first start over hurdles for yard but Danny Mullins was booked that day and I'd say better was expected. This looks a poor race where three of the four were PU last time out and this looks an easy opportunity to win as we know comes here in good form. Was a 9f Group 3 winner here at the track before going agonisingly close when second in the Prix Du Jockey Club on this card last year. Looks the one to beat in my opinion and only real career flop was in the Arc last season and though a no show there rest of career is solid. Acts around here well and is a Group 2 winner at around this trip when beating the smart Bay City Roller in the Prix Niel at Longchamp last season. Was a very cheeky winner in the Esher Cup at Sandown last time in a strong handicap and I think will be one of the ones who will appreciate the switch to Carlisle from the less demanding Haydock the most. Won with a bit up his sleeve to my eye and as was strong at the finish will relish this course. Only an average draw here but can stay on strongly as I'm sure this is going to be run at a furious pace as the likes of Crest Of Fire and Special Dividend have shown plenty of pace before. Has won at Ascot too so a stiff right handed track looks right up this one's street and could have much more to come. Up 5lb here but only poor runs have been at the tricky Goodwood or on softish ground so looks on a fair mark to me as back on fast ground here with a nice hill to climb with be rattling home late on. That winner has since run a blinder in the Group 2 Temple Stakes since so form looks solid. Has caught my eye more than once and has run three solid races on the all weather this season. Beat a subsequent winner at Newcastle on seasonal debut and showed a good attitude there, appreciating the stiff finish. Was beaten a head back at Newcastle last time again running well and those efforts sandwiched a fair effort when 4th at Wolverhampton as a beaten favourite but would of found that track sharp enough. Drop in trip a slight concern but this stiff track on turf will suit over this distance, and sole turf run reads well. Was a good second to Forty Years On at Doncaster on decent ground and that one is a only a head defeat away from rattling off a hat trick since and is Group 3 entered in Ireland next month. Looks a solid EW play here and will relish the stiff finish and fly home, hopefully in front. First run after being gelded, moving yards and on seasonal debut so have no idea how he'll go but it catches my eye come here as was a C&D winner on handicap debut last season. Rossa Ryan was onboard that day and is a very interesting jockey booking up again for new trainer. Won on good ground over 10f last season before that handicap win, shaping as if stamina is a strong suit despite dam being a German 1000 guineas winner over a mile. Didn't settle on final start last season but still finished in front of Topteam who I thought had a little squeak through lines of form with Ernst Blofeld/Bulletin that gave that one as much as the favourite Opportunity. Drop in trip will suit and ran a good third in the Classic Trial here in April and actually finished ahead of Action who went no to be second in the Dante and if recapturing that effort is a massive price. Won on debut at Nottingham and Gosden introduces some fair sorts there. In fact on that Nottingham run was about the same distance in front of High Storm who had run a similar race behind Yazin at Redcar last season so again on that line my fancy looks a big price. EW player if not as keen as last time and the shorter trip on this stiffer track looks perfect as opposed to York last time.
