Will come into his own when getting a trip and looks a chaser for the future but this isn't the deepest race bar the stand out odds on jolly and if improving for last fifth place over C&D has an EW squeak. Has bumped into a couple of decent winners in his races so far in the likes of Sinnatra and the 126 rated Kadastral who I like for the Skeltons and is definitely one to keep an eye on. Dam has produced 3 other siblings and they've all won over trips from 2m1f- 3m plus so I'll wager this one will win a race in due course. Probably won't be today but Brendan Powell an eyecatching booking and could stay on well if getting a good pace to aim at.

Fell early on seasonal reappearance but ran well next time at Cork when rallying again once a bit outpaced before fading again close home. That run smacks of one of needing it and if coming on for that has a decent chance here off 3lb lower. Was placed at Listed level last season and did win her sole race on good ground so won't mind drying conditions but has form on soft too so should be fine on any ground. EW player for me as has run well twice before at the track in big field maiden hurdles finishing 4th & 2nd as a younger horse. Must go close of this mark

Only third run for yard and hasn't set the world alight so far but catches my eye on fine pedigree, as is out of a Cyborg mare from Great Pretender sired. Bred to be decent and Cyborg produced so many great horses like Cyfor Malta, Hors La Loi III and Cyborgo and though this one is not one of them could be worth keeping an eye on. Step up trip and first time cheekpieces might help and interesting yard run here as well as saddling the favourite. Dam has produced 3 winners so far and I'll take a chance this one can improve with yard in fair form and always worth noting around here.

A horse I've always kept an eye on as has ability but is not the most consistent. Rewarded my loyalty last time when a good second under another yard apprentice to a stablemate in a 3m handicap chase. I got all excited at one point as looked the most likely winner a few furlongs out before fading once passed. The drop in trip here will suit and rider is capable as has developed a good partnership with a horse called My Good Pal to win and place many times in big field handicaps. Was in front of Showurappreciation last time and at double the price of that one looks the EW play here.

Dual 7f C&D winner in this grade and ran well again here last time when a close third to Flowstate who has come out a boosted the form to an extent as was third beaten two necks at Wolverhampton off a big weight. New connections have wasted no time in jockeying up the flying Billy Loughnane and this one looks a very worthy favourite.

Horse I've always liked especially as rattled off a five timer over hurdles last season and continued to run well off stiff marks despite many quick reappearances showing how tough he is. Chasing career canned and though form figures of UFU don't inspire was unlucky to be hampered last time in a good hurdles race and was well fancied there. To be fare those three runs were over 3m odd so I think dropping in trip could help too as 2m5f his is optimum and this strong traveller is a player if keeping out of harms way today. Decent ground will help too and former chasers have won this before so I'm in a forgiving mood today and think both of Neil Mulholland's charges can run well today.

Pretty exposed but on snippets of best form has a mighty chance here and is well overpriced. Ran a cracker last time when finding only the bang in form Absolutely Doyen too good at Wincanton. Had El Capitaine 4.5l behind then and when you consider that unexposed sort was only about 5l behind A Pai De Nom at Cheltenham the time before then on these terms and at the prices I have to back IKE SPORT. Has won in big fields before and ran a blinder at Aintree last spring in a competitive handicap when 5th, splitting Impose Toi & Wade Out and they've both advertised the form really well, including at Grade 1 level. On a good mark, gets this trip, won't mind the ground, goes well in the hood and Sam TD onboard, who has placed in this race three times in the last ten years. Has a squeak at a big price.

Classy chaser who remains lightly enough raced for an 11yo and ran a very eyecatching race back in a handicap last time on return splitting two Irish raiders. Ran a race full of promise staying on again after getting a second wind and shaped as if this trip will suit despite never winning over this far. The fourth that day Herakles Westwood has won since too, so back in another handicap and if coming on for seasonal debut must have a huge chance at this level. Won last January in the Grade 2 Cotswold Chase at Cheltenham and is in fact unbeaten when running in January from three starts. His class might pull him through here and as I can't see him winning the Gold Cup in March today might be his Cup Final. Mr Vango and Resplendent Grey are old favourites but both might prefer a more galloping track and Myretown has fallen twice in his last four starts. Looks the bombproof EW play anyway and though this is a marathon might have too much class and toe for these late on with the short run in helping keep the closers at bay.

I've really fancied this one a couple of times recently and though been PU twice is one to keep an eye on for yard now back amongst the winners. Until last run had a record of finishing 411 from three starts after being pulled up the time before and that included over C&D last Christmas when hacking up by 10l from a good field. 7lb higher still now but is a couple of pounds lower than when running a cracker here in the competitive Ladbrokes Trophy last season where he went well for along way and I'd give him one more chance. Could well dominate this smaller field and looks a win or bust bet for me given the ground should suit and put up a career best over C&D.

Came to chasing a bit later than some but made a very decent chase debut beating Josh The Boss at Warwick and that one has advertised the form well enough since. This right handed track will suit and is unlucky not to be unbeaten over fences as was touched off by a nose last time at Doncaster by a fair sort so returning this venue might get him back to winning ways. Had Old Cowboy 25l behind over hurdles here over C&D and though that one has looked decent over fences this season too I do fancy Go West to confirm that form today. Could be a tad of value with yard still in good form and won't mind the ground. Would of got up in another few strides last time so the extra furlong here will suit too today. Big shout for me off this mark.

I can't believe this one isn't half the price as all form under rules at around 2m -2m1f is stacking up nicely. Failed to win a PTP but placed in two bumpers for yard and chased home the smart Idaho Sun on debut and that one is a Grade 1 hurdle winner now. Even had subsequent winners Supreme Malinas and Sinnatra behind that day before finishing third to another smart one in Kripticjim. Won on hurdles debut at Fontwell and the second, third and fourth have all won since too. Failed to stay 2m4f last time and though was beaten a fair distance there at Newbury the winner has since run No Drama This End close in the Grade 1 Challow, so all in all price looks too big for my fancy. Drop back in trip must suit and with yard still in form and always worth following around Kempton looks a mighty EW punt at current prices with the dead 8 here. Might get punted tomorrow and looks my banker place play of the day but might even win cosily if bouncing back to form.

Caught the eye last time at Chelmsford on first run for 133 days and stayed on well to be a close second to match fit rival. Was giving that horse Tonal 6lb plus the 5lb claimed so the fact that one has won again since at Wolverhampton the form could be strong. Sure to strip fitter now and yard going well with Oisin Murphy a very eyecatching booking too. Actually had a poor draw too last time and though up 2lb can go well from the plumb 5 stall so can follow the pace wherever it develops and pounce late on. Turf winner at Epsom in the summer and has a big chance if coming on for return.

Cut no ice here on Kempton debut last time over a mile but shaped the time before at Lingfield as if there is a race to be won soon. 7f suited that day and caught the eye staying on well despite a troubled passage. Been a long time since tasted success and did win on the AW and turf as a novice. Starting to look well handicapped and yard going well enough too as had a couple of winners and plenty run well since the end of December. I was at Sandown and backed this fella when he won a juvenile hurdle easily and followed him ever since after he then went on to run a cracker in the Fred Winter at the Cheltenham Festival the race after. Was disappointing on the level and on seasonal and then bounced back to form to run a mammoth race in a valuable handicap at Ascot in second splitting two very smart older horses. Sadly didn't have a bean on that day but back here at Sandown and down in grade too looks a good thing to me. Drying ground wouldn't hurt and might just outclass these with yard in fair form who've had a few winners and plenty of places since mid-December from their last 15 runners. Should go close.

Won really well last time at Wincanton and though the better ground helped there, it was still surprising somewhat to see him bolt up, as tended to need a run or two in the past to be spot on. Had stablemate Credo behind in that valuable race at Wincanton and though that one is better off the weights has had another tough race since in the Berkshire National. Rex Dingle stays loyal to Gustavian despite trainer's entries and that's good enough for me especially has have always liked this horse. Won a handicap mares hurdle over C&D last time showing a good attitude even after getting hampered and us rapidly in the improve. Is actually joint youngest in the field and very much lightly enough raced to think improvement can still come. Steps up in grade here but did me a favour last time and I noted could go in again. Worse of with the re opposing runner up here but had so much in hand at the finish and can handle this step up in grade. Still has to improve but with solid course form could have too much for some who had tough races last time. Someone's tipped it up as backed and seen price collapse. Was going well enough when brought down here over C&D in January and other than that effort runs at Leicester and Carlisle suggest he may well of gone close met with a stiff finish. On a good mark with yard still going well and I've followed that Newbury run anyway and the form working out okay as we've had a winner and many places out of it subsequently. I loved the way this one jumped and travelled last time over a marathon trip at Newcastle. Moved smoothly on the front end and looked the most likely winner two or three furlongs out. Got outpaced before staying on again and my EW punt failed to land by a nose! Race was a decent event and the winner hasn't been disgraced in the Welsh National since in addition to the runner up winning subsequently. Off the same mark here looks a bombproof EW shout given this represents a small drop in grade. Will travel well throughout and hopefully Patrick Wadge times the challenge just right and with the four places looks the EW bet of the day. Lightly raced and has won on heavy ground so despite top weight looks a player.

I remember latching onto this one one day at Carlisle who is very lightly raced for age as was by Flemensfirth out of mare who relished heavy ground and won a Leinster National. You wouldn't be confident this one is ready to roll after 3 years off but on stable debut it has caught my eye that connections pitch him in here in this contest. Was a dual winner on the flat for Master Trainer Andre Fabre before transfer to Willie Mullins and won a Naas Maiden hurdle after a 644 day break. Was then campaigned as a good horse and finished 4th of 9 in the 2022 Supreme to none other than Constitution Hill. Then ran on the flat and was only just touched off by Coltrane in the Ascot Stakes at Royal Ascot before having a year off and then running at that meeting again. Was sent off favourite for the 2023 Ascot Stakes but wasn't right and obviously has ability. New yard pitch him in deep on belated return but as has won after a lengthy break before could be plotted up. Small win or bust bet for me as plenty have questions to answer here.

First time cheek pieces are slapped on and ran a cracker on sole visit to the track in March when second to my winning Nap today Koktail Divin and I think that is a chaser going places now. Had only had another spin on the flat in the summer but very interesting connections start off here considering his novice status. Is a C&D winner and won't mind if the ground dries out. EW squeak if ridden to place and won't mind the ground drying out. Has gone well fresh before so can outrun his odds.

3-6 over hurdles for current yard and sure to improve for seasonal debut when running a cracker in third at Doncaster on ground way too soft. Course winner in March in a novice's hurdle and step in trip shouldn't hinder as dam was beaten less than a length over 2m6f in her short career. Drying ground suits and off the same mark as seasonal reappearance must go well given won on second start last season for yard and will appreciate better ground. Cracking EW play for me.

Is a 10yo but still showing good form and is lightly enough raced for his age to think can win more races. Won the Summer Cup at Uttoxeter in June on good ground off a 5lb lower mark but that was a good race as the winners of 9 races have emerged from it subsequently and form looks good. Ran another blinder in a veteran's chase and was only two necks behind subsequent Becher Chase winner Twig and might of even got up in another stride or two. That was a veteran's race in name only as arguably is the key bit of form here and off the same mark had to be the bet. Drying ground will suit and trip and flat track look spot on for this one. Yard 2-3 at this track this season and lots to like about this likeable sort who trainer has brought about massive improvement from.

Ex-flat horse who has been on my radar after nearly landing me a fair ew punt on hurdling debut when fourth at big odds and would of been placed but for getting hampered. Has been improving with each run after winning under this young pilot in September who is now 1223 from four rides on this one he and obviously gets on well with the filly. Caught my eye again last time when third on ground softer than ideal and is a confident selection with the ground drying out and a sharp track here. Unexposed and getting weight from all I like this one's chances as travels smoothly and looks an improving sort. Tough race but off just a 1lb higher than last time must be the bet with conditions to suit.

Dam produced Sortudo for the yard who won on bumper debut, was a respectable 7th in a hot Cheltenham Festival bumper last March and was placed second in a Grade 2 so I'm expecting a big run from this one. Paddy Mullins onboard and we know he is worth following in bumpers and is 12 from 47 this season in NH Flat races. Looks a likely one on paper and though Mrs Audrey Turley has bigger fish to fry with Galopin Des Champs at Leopardstown her two runners here shouldn't be ignored. Must go close in a just okay field.

Belated debut for yard but catches my eye having being bought out of the same point to point as my strong fancy in the first Lazare De Star and was only a length and a half behind that one then. Well related to plenty of winners and all five horses dam has produced are winners under NH rules including two on bumper debut. Will take a smart one to beat him.

I can't believe this legend is only a 9yo given what he has achieved so far and this dual Cheltenham Gold Cup winner has to be a strong fancy here despite belated reappearance. Was behind Inothewayurthinkin in his bid for a historic third Gold Cup but had him behind when winning here in the Irish Gold Cup and in this race last year. Is 6/7 at the track and in fact unbeaten in all 6 chase starts here all at Grade 1 level. Surely primed for today and I really want to see him win and arguably the last time we saw him was one of his best performances. If fit wins for me and maybe Cheltenham might be a step too far again but this is his manor and must go close.

Division ripe for a new kid on the block and though this one had still a bit to find has achieved a lot for a 5yo. Tried chasing but to me is a 3m hurdler and has to be persevered with in this sphere as ran a mammoth race in the Stayers Hurdle at Cheltenham to finish fourth in Match. Three runs over fences haven't been devoid of promise but as was third in this race last year as a 4yo at a big price I think a plot is in the offing. Can go off too quick but does stay well and with a first time visor on can hopefully settle better and stay on well to hit the frame at least. Ran well last time behind Oscars Brother and if Koktail Divin goes in earlier as I expect this one's form may look a tad better. Younger legs on this decent ground could be the way to go here for the shock.

I can't believe this one is not favourite and looks a good thing to me. Has chased home two good sorts in fledgling chase career this season including at Grade 2 level last time, and to the exciting Romeo Coolio previously. Was 15l in front of Patter Merchant when second at Down Royal and that one has since finished nearly 4l in front of Kiss Will, so my fancy should beat both of them. Course form is good too as won maiden hurdle here in March and gave the smart Kaid D'authie a real fright on this card in the opener last season, and that one in turn gave subsequent Grade 1 Kauto Star winner Kitzbuhel a race on chase debut last month. All in all form is strongest on offer here and should be clear favourite in my book.

Looks a work in progress for shrewd yard and has run in two fair bumpers at Punchestown finishing 4th & 2nd respectively. All three of those in front of my fancy have won varying races since and improved on that effort to run well a year later. Drying ground wouldn't hinder given pedigree as out of a winning miler but Galopin Des Champ's colours are well represented at Limerick and I like this one's unexposed look. Has easier looking options at Tramore on New Year's Day so is very interesting coming here instead. Main rival looks pretty exposed and has to give this one 8lb so on hurdling debut I'm expecting a big run.

Bought out of a decent point to point where he was a close beaten favourite to Smoke Trail who is now with Lucinda Russell/Michael Scudamore and has already won under rules in addition to chasing home the smart Mydaddypaddy. Made a very pleasing rules debut at Navan when second to a Willie Mullins nice horse and was miles clear of the third. Yard flying and Jack Kennedy's choice so this one looks a solid favourite and can improve for stable debut which was 223 days on from sole point to point run. Must go close and get us off to a winning start.
