Has decent placed form around here over C&D off higher marks so starting to look well handicapped. Tame effort last time hopefully can be improved on returning to this track which takes some getting. Jockey rides this place well and though his 20 winners here come at just a 13% strike rate following those rides blind return a plus £20.99 level stakes profit. Three time C&D winner who had slipped back to last winning mark so looks well handicapped. Cut no ice on return to racing but tends to need a run or two to hit best. Have been keeping a close eye on this fella who though yet to win a race or even go close has run well a couple of times from last three starts. Liked his turf debut as caught the eye staying on after being too keen early at Bath last time so showed has ability and if settling better this time can enjoy tgd step up in trip which looks sure to suit. EW chance and good ground should suit and very unexposed for a 5yo especially on turf.

Unbeaten in two and showed on second start the stiff finish at Newcastle suits and won't mind the ground. Turf debut and Roger Varian can get his good ones fit on seasonal reappearances. Ran no real race last time at Ascot but is decent at best and was bang in form earlier in the year when rattling off a hatrick on the all weather. Looks the bet of the night taking on this lot given course form despite giving weight away. Second to Almaqam in this race last year looks so much better now given that one's exploits since and the form looks so good now that one's is a Group 1 Tattersalls Gold Cup winner now. Was also beaten a smidge by Delacroix in a Coral Eclipse here and I see nothing of either of those horses calibre here. Should get a nice lead and can win given is the class act.

Is way too big a price based on best form and if you can forgive poor effort in the Dante. Drop in trip will suit and ran a good third in the Classic Trial here in April and actually finished ahead of Action who went no to be second in the Dante and if recapturing that effort is a massive price. Won on debut at Nottingham and Gosden introduces some fair sorts there. In fact on that Nottingham run was about the same distance in front of High Storm who had run a similar race behind Yazin at Redcar last season so again on that line my fancy looks a big price. EW player if not as keen as last time and the shorter trip on this stiffer track looks perfect as opposed to York last time.

Very interesting this 5yo mare has been kept in training after a long time on the sidelines and though there is doubt in pedigree she'll stay this far connections must think she will. Is entered in a Group 3 over this sort of trip in Ireland at obviously will be ridden to test if she stays here. Has decent enough form in four races to date spread over 3 years and has shaped a couple of times as if will stay well as has hit the line hard over a mile on heavy ground and 1m2f-ish when at Chelmsford and then finishing second at Wolverhampton in a race that worked out fairly well. Ran well enough in 4th at Newcastle on handicap debut in January and has been dropped a 1lb here and given another little break. EW price if sees out the extra distance and yard still in fine form. That Group 3 Cork Oaks entry catches my eye.

Good second on debut on debut at Kempton over a mile but pulled clear of the third and had got ability by the oook. Pitched into a better race on turf next time and though couldn't land a blow at Sandown stepping up in trip and class still wasn't disgraced in 6th. Cut no ice on reappearance but that was only poor run of career so far when last in a competive Newmarket handicap and was way too keen early. Was only a head away in a Class 2 at Ascot last season from pulling off a hatrick after two 6f wins at Ripon and Haydock. Has to prove has trained on as a 3yo and though disappointing on seasonal reappearance at Newmarket after a breathing op can be given another chance here with the first time tongue tie on. Yard going really well with 5 winners from 18 runners the past fortnight and include some classy sorts running well. This one looks no world beater but was a good 2yo who seemed to act on stiff tracks similar to here and 6f with fastish ground looks ideal. Ran really well on stable debut in the Chester Plate and though finished strongly over further should appreciate this drop in trip at a stiffer track. Was a maiden winner for previous and did run well here in a maiden race that worked out well with the likes of Slaney Drive and Winston Junior coming out and boosting the form in different spheres including over hurdles. I loved this horse last season as won a couple of nice handicaps showing a good attitude when it came to a battle. Bumped into the now top notch Opera Ballo too on the all weather and basically all form last year looks rock solid. Made a very pleasing reappearance winning a Group 3 at Sandown and bar the favourite this looks an open affair for the places. I rate his half brother Almaqam too but he might need the run and softer going and though he has had a crack in Group 1 company already it interests me that owners send over Saddadd too. 10f on decent ground looks perfect and trainer's raiders are always worth looking at. Has to improve but is lightly enough raced to think there is more to come this year and if favourite doesn't perform this solid contender can take advantage. The definite EW play here.

Won on debut in good fashion before being put away to reappear in a Group 3 behind the 1000 guineas winner True Love. Went on to finish on the heels of the leaders again in another Group 3 won by Kensington Lane and the winners of both her races this year are in the Irish 1000 Guineas later on the card and give her form a solid look. In fact had Spinning Around behind on debut and that one won the handicap that Prevelance and Green Carrera competed in last time and gives a tenuous form link on this one's handicap debut. Hasn't been disgraced in better company and though looks on a stiff enough mark here has a touch of class and jockey's claim helps. Should stay this far and looks tge EW banker.

Very much an eyecatcher on debut in a 5f maiden taking on the boys and stayed on really well showing a good attitude despite running green and not getting a clear passage. Sure to appreciate this extra furlong as dam has produced a winner over further and one sibling one on it's second start too. Looks an ordinary enough field to me as many have valuable entries but not at the highest level and on racecourse evidence alone you'd have to like thus one's effort. She bumped into a rival who'd had a run and was booted clear to make all. Really caught my eye at Naas last time, staying on really well in a Listed event. Though no real excuses, he did meet some interference and might have finished a tad closer. The winner, Mission Central, has won again and is only 10-1 for the Group 1 King Charles III. He's an improving 3yo to keep an eye on. My fancy is a nice, scopey sort on the improve, and as he wasn't raced as a 2yo he could be just coming to himself as he fills into his massive frame. He was less than a length behind Shagraan in a Listed race at Ascot last year, and the fact connections took on older horses with this one tells me he is highly regarded. Obviously he has to improve but has the size to do so, and this might be his year to excel. He seems to go on any ground and is my each-way pick at the prices. I think 6f might suit in time, but he should get a strong pace here and can stay on well to hit the frame at least. He seems to go on any ground too.

Looks the third string from yard's runners on jockey bookings but for has the best chance on form for me. Has been tried at staying trips in good company and catches my eye dropping back to 12f here as best career win was a Listed win at this trip on good ground. Was unlucky not to win the Group 3 Gallinlule here when hampered close home over 10f last season and again shaped that day as if 12f would be the ideal trip. Quality US dam's side of pedigree suggests marathon trips are too far and for me this is her perfect scenario. Wasn't disgraced behind St Leger winner Scandinavia last time and I've been keeping an eye on his price all week. Has been nibbled at all that time and is very interesting taking on stablemate, who won this last year and the German import Nyra also for Joseph O'Brien. Then improved on that effort with a very eyecatching staying on third at Chester behind the top notch Lambourn who could be some staying star this season. Trainer and owner won this race last year with ironically a horse who'd finished third in that Huxley at Chester that Ice Max did. However has some fancy sprint entries and very interesting yard come over for this. Ran ok on debut and the third has won since that effort at Cork and the extra furlong will suit here. Plenty of good ground form in pedigree and should strip fitter too. Favourite is the obvious danger on good second on debut but this one making the trip over is a proper eyecatcher. Yard are 4-21 over the last 5 seasons with their 2yo British raiders so can get a winger here and I'll take a chance this one is speedy enough to take care of main danger and any lurkers in this field. May want a strong gallop but has to be the bet.

Won really well last time out and looked value for more than winning margin as won a bit cosily. Up 4lb looks fair and thus improving 3yo can go well here. Draw can help and stays further so can either slot in if getting a good pace to aim at or dictate from the front as we know has strong stamina. Will go close as long as ground not too quick.

I really fancied her last time based on best form last season when twice a Listed race winner and a good second to the smart Havana Anna. Was heavily backed but ran a stinker on bad ground so back on a better surface I'll give her another chance. Won last season at the Curragh on good ground and won't mind this stiff 5f here. Showed had trained on with a nose defeat on seasonal reappearance at Dundalk and on that course second here to Havana Anna has a right chance today. Is way too big a price to ignore given I liked her so much when conditions obviously didn't suit last time and she can run much better now back on better going. Two Group 1 entries at Royal Ascot suggest connections think she can make up into a crack sprinter this year and has a definite squeak here.

Three efforts at Newcastle on the all weather clear show he has ability as was beaten just a neck on debut over 5f before winning next time out stepping up to 6f. Two subsequent winners have emerged from that race and my fancy ran other blinder over 6f again at Newcastle last time. Up 2lb but could be even better on turf so looks still on a fair mark.Yard finished last month and started this month in good form with a few winners and this one has a definite EW shout. Could go well at a price

Is a bit in and out but has ability and was a big eyecatcher on seasonal return when runner up to the admirable Big Gossey in the Listed Gladness Stakes staying on really well. Won over C&D on seasonal return here last season so goes well at the track, though probably wouldn't mind a bit more give in the ground. However on his second at the Curragh to Diego Valasquez in a Group 2 last summer beaten a neck, he should be odds on fav here!! That horse went on to beat subsequent Lockinge winner Notable Speech in a French Group 1 a head, and on that form alone my fancy here might of run a big race in the Lockinge himself! Lol!! We know that probably wouldn't of happened but what I'm saying this boy is very capable on his day and is way overpriced here.

Ran in a very competive affair on the all weather at Newcastle on Good Friday and plenty have come out of that race and performed with credit switched to the turf including the third who has won since that day. Won on debut at Bath so can operate on the turf and had a definite EW shout dropping in grade. Looks a bit better than this grade and can run a big race.,

Yard won this race last year with young Jack Kearney doing the steering and he's on this new recruit and it really catches the eye connections run him in this deep race as well as the tip top Far From Dandy. Has a much easier apprentice race entry at Cork on Tuesday so that catches my eye too that they come here especially as they have the likely favourite too. Won the Irish Cambridgeshire last season for Dermot Weld and is 5lb higher now but young Jack takes a valuable 3lb of that off. No show on final start last season over 10f so drop in trip should help and though we don't know if has trained on or not is one to note on first start for last year's winning yard of this race.

Tends to need a run each season and did win on second start last year and was beaten a neck on second start the year before. Ran well to a point last time on this year's reappearance and though well held by the reopposing Scottish Dancer should strip fitter today. The step up in trip will help and so should a return to this track where he is 2/5 and ran a blinder over C&D last September when flying at the death to be just denied by The Crafty Mole. Off the same mark of 71 here has a cracking EW shout now has that run under his belt. Yard have had a few nice priced winners in recent days so should go well.
