Beaten far and square by Item in the Dante but that was an improved effort after disappointing on seasonal return at Sandown and with the ground coming right can reverse the places. Good 2yo form doesn't always translate but his second to Hawk Mountain in the Futurity looks better now that one has run a mammoth race in the French Derby. Had Benvenuto Cellini behind that day and though that one has improved bundles since my fancy is a big price on that line alone. Should stay this far and gets the first time cheekpieces slapped on so if that sharpens him up he could go well from the front and hopefully hang on for a place.

Likes a sharp 5f and handled Brighton well enough so should go well here. Soft ground is an unknown but caught the eye in good to soft on belated return last time out at Yarmouth. Looks a progressive sort and with yard bang in form still looks a banker EW bet. Owners target this meeting with a good one of theirs and often leave with a winner. Goes well from the front and can hang on for a place at the very least.

Was a huge eyecatcher on seasonal debut and looks way better than a handicapper and despite 6lb rise looks one to follow. Holds Wokingham & Bunbury Cup entries so will get further in time but sure to get a strong pace to aim at here. I'm not a million miles from Epsom and it is drying out all the time. Looks progressive and ground will suit and yard have a good record at the track with 17 winners from 94 over the last 5 years and though lsp is in a negative when one is fancied it normally goes close. Have to have two chances in the lucky last in case have nabbed all the winners up to now!!! On my way to track now. Let's roll.

Another old favourite who goes really well at Goodwood but Epsom form ain't bad either as has won this very race in 2021 and 2024 and was also third on this card last year. 3lb lower than last winning mark which was only last August and this fella will love any rain that falls, which I can say has been arriving in buckets as I'm not too far from the track. Must go close given yard in decent form too with 8 winners from last 53 sent out over the past fortnight. Totally exposed but we know will handle this track and though draw could of been kinder on softish ground around here they might come down the stand side so shouldn't be a bother. Looks another EW banker.

Looks a nice individual and the fact sent over from Ireland is a tip in itself. Progressive over 7f and was third last time in a Listed event at Naas just behind the 110 rated Expanded so could be still more to come for this one. Chased home Neolithic the time before who is Listed placed since and was just behind the Joseph O'Brien's Andab so that gives my fancy's form another solid look. Who knows if he'll handle this place but seems to like any ground and sire Pinatubo did win here over 6f on sole run at the track so there is a fair chance our pick might like it. Anyway looks one with plenty of improvement to come and must go close for inform yard. EW banker of the race for me.

I was all over this one last time but was a late non runner when due to run at Chester as thought connections were going to run off this mark lumping a big weight. A lightly raced 4yo who coming here instead might actually be the plan given won a handicap at the track last April off a mark 8lb lower. Beat a good horse in Bulletin that day who is out here on Saturday and worth keeping an eye on too. I said last time this one "could be anything" but we know handles the track and goes on any ground. Was double declared so I delayed in having a punt which is gutting now as was double the price earlier in the week, but with first time cheek pieces slapped on this looks a plot to me. Was 5th on reappearance behind Hand Of God at Newbury and that form could look better if that one runs well earlier on the card and should strip fitter now. Unexposed and was an impressive winner at this track on sole run last year and is obviously well fancied. Must go close as could yet still be better than a handicapper.

Have to have a saver on Cameo who proved this trip would suit after winning the Oaks Trial at Lingfield which also showed will handle the undulations of Epsom Downs. Beat a filly called Bloom much more easier than Thundering On did in their Navan clash and actually had Thundering On behind when winning her maiden last October at the Curragh. I have no doubt Joseph O'Brien's charge has improved no end and that was her debut but can't back that one without a saver on Cameo. Ryan Moore rides the favourite and looks the one to beat but could boil over and this one must have an each way squeak as improved a ton for the step up from a mile last time. Will be up with the pace I'm sure and can hang on for a place and as goes on any ground looks a fair punt. Word Up!!!!!

Dam was a Group 1 Pretty Polly winner over 10f at the Curragh for which my fancy holds an entry for too, so has a touch of class in the pedigree. By Frankel and her grand dam was a 12f winner so bred perfectly for this trip and looks sure to improve for it judged on run last time. Old stalwart who I can't believe is a 6yo as have followed for years and though hasn't won for two years is a consistent sort. Invariably runs well in the Lincoln and goes well at Goodwood but has good course form here and had two second places from two visits here. The latter was at this meeting last year when unlucky to bump into a rejuvenated Mirsky but was making late gains and gets a tad further today. Is now a 1lb lower than that day and if any cut in the ground that will suit too. Yard in fair form and as I've followed this fella for years have to have a saver given will handle the track and looks on a fair mark. Up 5lb but showed can handle this track and is unexposed so could defy the inflated rating. Won on second start last season and if coming on for that fine reappearance must have a chance. Had Asmen Warrior nearly 5l behind last time and that one has come out and been nutted a head at Windsor so form could be okay too from that effort at Epsom. Was given plenty to do last time and was the beaten favourite too. so must of been expected to go close and hopefully can reward those fanciers that day tomorrow. Has won on good to firm to good to soft so ground should be ok if on easy side of good or even if it dries out. Big shout for me.

Was a good winner of this race last season and though had been disappointing since now is 2/2 at this track has to be the bet. Had two runs on the way to winning this last season including winning the Earl Of Sefton at Newmarket and though only 4th in that event this season this must of been the target. Ryan Moore was onboard last year but rides something else this time but Sean Levey riding out of his skin at the moment with yard in form so that doesn't bother me. Easyish ground would suit and if improving for the seasonal debut has to be the bet here given is so far unbeaten in two visits here and both runs here was at this meeting. Can go close to landing the hatrick.

Well bred sort who though had no excuses when only fourth in this event last season when behind Persica was only a 3yo taking on elders and was sent off at only 4-1, so a big run was expected. Is very interesting on seasonal and 4yo debut and as dam was a winner at around this trip at the track back in the day. is bred for this place. Yard enjoy plenty of winners at the track (17-94 last five years here) and I can't resist an ew saver on this one who looks a huge price as might of been laid out for this race. Has to improve to trouble the best of these but wasn't far behind Persica last year and looked the type to make a good 4yo. Won on debut and placed on seasonal reappearance last year so the probability is can go well fresh and I can't not have a little bit on ew at 20-1. Goes on any ground and though might improve for the outing likes to go from the front and if getting an easy lead could go well if ready to roll on reappearance.

Was an eyecatcher on debut too in a Class 2 Novice at Yarmouth where denied a clear run but stayed on nicely once in the clear all too late. Holds plenty of entries in those valuable sales races and if improving for debut can play a hand in the finish here. Half sister stayed 7f plus so will want further in time but sure to get a strong pace to aim at here and is another EW punt for for me. Was a good third last time at York finishing just ahead of She's Got A Brother and bin the same terms here with that one looks the play in this. Tricky opener and who knows who'll handle this place but won really nicely at Catterick the time before last and that speedy track not too dissimilar to this place. Softish ground would be a slight concern as best form on fast ground but has run well on all three starts for new trainer this season. Oisin Murphy a very eyecatching jockey booking and he enjoys a 25% strike rate here returning a nice plus £12.31 level stakes profit over the last 5 years. Was a good 2yo but seems better now a year older and looks one of the more likelier winners in a proper puzzle to open the meeting. Speedy sort who'll more than likely be up with the pace from draw bang in the middle and looks the EW punt of the race.

Dam was beautifully bred and made a pleasing debut before winning on the all weather and then packed off to stud given lovely pedigree. Yard had a 2yo winner recently and are going well. I like the jockey who rides this place well and his 8 winners here over the last 5 years have come at a 38% strike rate returning a tidy nigh on plus £10 level stakes profit. One to note on debut and can go well.

Owner sets an imponderable by running three including one with experience but I like the look of this one on paper. Dam has produced five foals to see the track and all five of them have won a race. Natural Force in fact winning 2yo debut so there is a chance this one could too. EW price and this well bred sort can hopefully go well.

Has won after a 3 month break and a 4 month break so tge fact has been off the track doesn't put me off. Has won at Brighton and been placed on turf around here so these undulating tracks seem to suit. Yard starting to click and have sent out a couple of winners From there last 6 out. Won on fast ground and stays well over a stiff mile so this trip should suit. Can go close.

Came good this time last year when winning at Brighton. Followed that up with another win at Brighton before completing the hatrick at Pontefract. Been out of sorts since but this course on fast ground will suit as not too dissimilar to Brighton's up and downs. Open race but 9lb lower than last win and looks too well handicapped to ignore in an open looking race.

Very tricky finale but this consistent all weather customer could still be unexposed enough on turf to think is worth following here. Yard in good form and Sean Kirrane has been someone I've been following lately and has a nice ridd here. Has been in good form at Southwell this year winning three times and was a solid second there again last time and though a couple of pounds higher again here now is interesting back on turf. Won around this trip at Redcar last summer about on a much higher mark now will enjoy the ground. Ran well here as a 2yo when second on soft ground in a Nursery and catches my eye runs here instead of over a bit further in a Hamilton entry later in the week. EW squeak.

Showed a cracking attitude at Newcastle the time before last when battling back once headed beating a previous winner and enjoyed the stiff track there. That bodes well coming here especially as would of found Chester sharp enough last time. Still ran a blinder there staying on really well and will enjoy this stiffer test. That race win by McMurray looked decent and off the same mark as that handicap debut this one can go well. All form looks solid to be fair even debut win at Salisbury which has since thrown up the winners of 9 races and loads of placers too. Unexposed with a will to win can see this fella appreciate the stiff finish and tough it out best. Fact!

Sets the standard here as seasonal debut at Newmarket was a cracking third and as was a neck ahead of subsequent Listed winner Song Of The Clyde there that form looks strong. Has since run well again at Ascot getting run out of things late on and drop in trip and grade here look spot on. Up a 1lb but looks a good thing to me in this company.

Was a very cheeky winner in the Esher Cup at Sandown last time in a strong handicap and I think will be one of the ones who will appreciate the switch to Carlisle from the less demanding Haydock the most. Won with a bit up his sleeve to my eye and as was strong at the finish will relish this course. Only an average draw here but can stay on strongly as I'm sure this is going to be run at a furious pace as the likes of Crest Of Fire and Special Dividend have shown plenty of pace before. Has won at Ascot too so a stiff right handed track looks right up this one's street and could have much more to come. Up 5lb here but only poor runs have been at the tricky Goodwood or on softish ground so looks on a fair mark to me as back on fast ground here with a nice hill to climb with be rattling home late on. With the 5 places on offer was nearly the EW Nap of the day but will go close for me.

Only negative is the switch from Haydock where this one won this race and the Lancashire Oaks bit class will out here. Seconds to Minnie Hauk and Kalpana read so well that this one looks a fine bet even at odds on given nothing in here has that class form in the book. Main rival Waardah would had to have improved a ton as was safely held by the favourite when they last ran on Qipco Champions Day last backend behind the top notch Kalpana. Scopey sort who can improve with age and on all know form and ratings looks a penalty kick here.

Really impressive at Windsor last time and though this looks a step up in grade I'm sure comes here as the most progressive in the field and has to be backed. Actually ran well on seasonal debut at York this season with Ryan Moore up and wasn't disgraced despite finishing 8th to Jakajaro as didn't get the clearest passage. That winner has since run a blinder in the Group 2 Temple Stakes since so form looks solid. Race looks ripe for a new kid on the block and stiff track here should suit as twice ran well as a 3yo at the similarly stiff Sandown. Must go close with plenty in favour and Willie Buick a nice jockey booking.

Has caught my eye more than once and has run three solid races on the all weather this season. Beat a subsequent winner at Newcastle on seasonal debut and showed a good attitude there, appreciating the stiff finish. Was beaten a head back at Newcastle last time again running well and those efforts sandwiched a fair effort when 4th at Wolverhampton as a beaten favourite but would of found that track sharp enough. Drop in trip a slight concern but this stiff track on turf will suit over this distance, and sole turf run reads well. Was a good second to Forty Years On at Doncaster on decent ground and that one is a only a head defeat away from rattling off a hat trick since and is Group 3 entered in Ireland next month. Looks a solid EW play here and will relish the stiff finish and fly home, hopefully in front. Booking of good 5lb claimer gives this one a nice mark and I'm thinking could be the EW bet of the day with the 4 places available.

First run after being gelded, moving yards and on seasonal debut so have no idea how he'll go but it catches my eye come here as was a C&D winner on handicap debut last season. Rossa Ryan was onboard that day and is a very interesting jockey booking up again for new trainer. Won on good ground over 10f last season before that handicap win, shaping as if stamina is a strong suit despite dam being a German 1000 guineas winner over a mile. Didn't settle on final start last season but still finished in front of Topteam who I thought had a little squeak through lines of form with Ernst Blofeld/Bulletin that gave that one as much as the favourite Opportunity. Yard have had 3 winners the past fortnight but they came from last 9 runners so hitting form too now. Looks an ew banker to me.
