I have been a member of Olbg since September 2009 and must say it's one of the most user friendly sites out there. The fact all tips, comments, stats & performances are recorded and available for inspection it really does mean you have to bring a professional approach. You are judged on what you say and do, so I will do my best to help others along the way in our journey to prise some profit out of those miserly bookies. I am a genuine horse racing enthusiast and have spent (or some might say wasted!) over 30 years as an avid punter and the beauty is I am still learning. This site definitely helps as the information and knowledge of other members available is excellent.....and free. My other hobbies are photography and cricket, I'm the current Skipper of Seveno CC a south London friendly cricket team and we're always looking for new players. I'm also a keen photographer and have captured some great memories especially from Cheltenham and if any photos catch your eye, please get in touch. For me, all roads from about November lead to the greatest sporting event of the year, The Cheltenham Festival and I have been going nearly every year since 1998. The memories, stories, good punts & bad will make a great book one day! I always look for value and hopefully a few juicy punts click on here. I would say horse racing is my game but I do like the odd dabble in the golf, boxing & cricket markets. Enjoy the ride!

4lb lower than when a fair 6th here a few runs ago and the fact that those in front of her have all hit the frame including one winner than that could be fair form. Ran well last time over 7f and drop in trip should suit. Seems to hit a lot of trouble in running but if getting a clear run and with Kieran Shoemark an eyecatching booking can outrun her odds. Won a classified stakes race over course and distance last time out and though this is a step up in grade back in a handicap the form of that last run looks ok. I can't let Mr Haggas' other runner go unbacked either as is beautifully bred herself and interesting tackling her more fancied stablemate. Was an eyecatcher on second start as was tardy enough early doors but finished with a bit of running at Windsor and a slightly stiffer test her should suit. Had 4.5l to make up on Lambourn from Epsom but was gaining all the way up the home straight and if not given as much to do on this more conventional galloping track looks the real threat to the Derby winner. Had Lambourn behind when second over a mile at the Curragh last season and though that one had improved no end this season he's had three tough races already this year. My fancy is a Group 1 winner and though that race at St Cloud wasn't the strongest this horse does have take talent. Trainer had a lovely double on the big card at the Curragh on Saturday and arrives here in good form. Looks the bombproof EW play and can improve on just third start of the season. Unexposed and stays well so with plenty of fancy Gp 1 entries down the line connections believe this one is a too notcher. Looks likely to give the favourite most to do.

Improving filly and getting weight from the boys coukd be the fly in the ointment. Won over 6f on debut at Dundalk and ran well back there again on next start when chasing home the subsequent Royal Ascot Group 1 Commonwealth Cup winner. Turf form stacks up too as third start was sandwiched by subsequent Gp 3 and Listed race winners. Bit of an old stager now as a 9yo but has decent course form and is only 2lb higher now than winning the 2023 Irish Cambridgeshire over C&D. Was fourth in that race on last start last season and was a decent fourth again over C&D here on seasonal debut last time. Showed up well for a long way and shaped as if would come on for the run as only tired late on and wasn't beaten far. Is 1lb lower now and as has cracking course form in the book must be backed as should strip fitter now. This doesn't look the deepest renewal and as was only a neck behind Slieve Binnian last time who was fitter after a couple of starts this year looks a fair price. Comes here on a real roll and can complete the hatrick and for me she is a tad overpriced given she has the look of an improver for shrewd yard. They've only sent 9 horses out in June and four of those have won including the Gp 1 Fillies Coronation Stakes winner at Royal Ascot. Let's hope this one has been working with Cercene. Beat Mississippi River at Naas the time before last and is just a 1lb worse off here so there shouldn't be a lot between them. Followed up here at the Curragh when just about getting up on the line over a mile so the extra furlong today looks perfect. Caught the eye staying on well in the Chester Cup and that race has thrown up the 4th, 5th and 6th of the Ascot Stakes and the runner up in the Copper Horse at Royal Ascot and off the same mark my fancy is a strong pick. More than just a topical tip as has run well on three starts so far and despite top weight is dropping in grade and looks sure to go well. Arguably should be favourite in my book as has finished twice in front of May Encounter who has gone on to finish in front of Alashos since at Newmarket. Alashos has since finished in front of Vault of Heaven giving 4lb and on the same terms here could confirm places. On that line of thought my fancy should be shorter than the favourite and has finished well on all three starts this stiffer test over 6f on this more galloping track can bring the required improvement to gain first win on handicap debut.

Well overpriced to me, as was a good second to subsequent Albany Stakes winner at Royal Ascot last time when they met at Carlisle. On a line through Fitzella, has the beating of Bella Lyra, who was behind that one on debut, and Fitzella also went on to be fourth in the Albany. Stepping up to 6f should suit, as has run four times on stiff tracks over 5f and stays on well. Bella Lyra won at Windsor in a novice fillies race last time, and last year's winner of this, Celandine, did the same thing, so is respected. Whether getting it just four days later is a good thing is a moot point but has run well before when making a quick reappearance after a good run. Lively ground suits and though the Mullins hotpot could be anything this one looks the most solid choice. Looks the muggy ew bet of the day but as yard's only representative at this year's meeting could be the winner. Well bred sort whose dam was a 10f Group 1 winner and has produced plenty of winners included at graded level so we haven't seen the best of this one yet as she gains experience. Will improve and too big a price to ignore here. Beat Rahiebb on seasonal debut and that one has boosted the form by running a cracker in the Queen's Vase already this week. Was very unlucky last time as was hampered when making his move at Goodwood. Can turn the tables on the winner there Amiloc and at 5 times that one's price looks the each way value anyway.

Beaten a smidge by Crimson Advocate at Goodwood in May and how good does that form look now? That one has bolted up here already this meeting and this one must be backed. 8th in the Queen Mary at this meeting last year before giving Simmering a fright in the Gp 3 Princess Margaret here at Ascot last July and is a classy sort. Willie Buick keeps the faith and a blinding EW play here. Should stay and decent draw.

Unbeaten in two and though hasn't beaten much coukd not of done the job more easier and looks a Group 1 filly in the making. Obviously been saved for this and supplemented for a pretty penny this Pretty Polly winner looks a good thing here to me. Drop in trip the only doubt but enjoyed Newmarket's stiff finish and that extra stamina will help here as there looks likely to have plenty of pace in this race. Half sister Rowayeh was very unlucky in last year's Kensington Palace at the Royal meeting when getting a troubled passage so family retribution is on the cards here. Think this one wins easily and was close to being the Nap.

Kept good company last season for previous trainer Owen Burrows and though only having a maiden win to his name was mixing it with the likes of Calandagan and Ombudsman. Was down the field in the King Edward at the Royal meeting last year but was still 12l in front of Diego Valesquez so you'd have to think isn't totally out of place in this company. Has switched yards and though two seconds for new outfit hardly set the pulse racing jockey and trainer did win this race last year. Ethical Diamond and French Duke look players but they are hardly winning machines themselves and I'd have an EW play on this one who gets the first time blinkers slapped on. On a line through a horse called Cambridge has the beating of Hand Of God so could be the value.

4/5 as a 2yo including 2 Group 1's at Newmarket and though best form is on soft ground has handled fast ground too. Made a pleasing debut for the season when third in the 2000 guineas and if that was a 6f race then probably would of won it so dropping in trip seems the right call. Was only a 1/2 l behind the now new superstar Field Of Gold anyway so form is on another level to his rivals here and though yard could of had a better three days at this meeting jockey Willie Buick is getting the big decisions right. Is 3/4 over this trip and loves Newmarket's dip so should relish this stiff track and trip and looks the one to beat.

Made a very pleasing debut in a Group 3 at Naas behind Lady Iman and that's top form already as that one had previously beaten the subsequent Queen Mary winner True Love. Signora is in fact out of a Queen Mary winner herself and will improve for debut effort and though Green Sense was just in front of her last time that one had the benefit of a run. Her full sister Exactly won on her second start and goes later in the Coronation Stakes so Signora comes from a very smart family. Yard mopping up the 2yo's at the meeting and this one looks another potential superstar. Yard have won two of the last three renewals of this and this one looks as good as previous winners if not better already as will come on for debut effort and looks good value at current prices.
