Golf is my game, and my tips can, at times, pay dividends . I'm no expert regarding horse racing, but I'm improving due to following some of the OLBG members here who seem better than the pros. Football, rugby, snooker, tennis and some American sports are others I take an interest in.

22:45 World Wide Technology Championship

Doug Ghim

50 WIN

@21.00

Open

0

One of the favorites at the World Wide Technology Championship this week is Doug Ghim. The ever-improving American went close at the Shriners Children's Open two weeks ago with a second-place finish, just one shot off J.T. Poston's winning score. I expect Ghim to strongly contend in this tournament.

Henrik Norlander

25 EW

@67.00

Open

0

I reckon Henrik Norlander can go close at the World Wide Technology Championship this week. The Swedish golfer narrowly missed the cut at the recent Shriners Children's Open, but had finished T-8 at the Black Desert Championship the previous week. Norlander has plenty of top 12s, 15s, and 20s this season, so I'll take him to get a top 7 this week.

Patrick Fishburn

25 EW

@41.00

Open

0

With four top 10s this season, the yet-to-win Patrick Fishburn is in his rookie year on the PGA Tour. While it usually takes a newcomer two or three seasons to settle, Fishburn seems unbothered by whomever he plays with. I'll take this potentially great golfer to go close at the World Wide Technology Championship.

Doug Ghim

1st Round Leader

50 WIN

@34.00

Open

0

Doug Ghim is yet to win on the PGA Tour, but his maiden victory can't be far away. His recent runner-up spot at the Shriners Children's Open saw him shoot rounds of 64-70-64 and 65 to finish one shot off winner JT Poston's winning score. Ghim is no stranger to shooting low rounds, so I'll take the American to lead after day 1 of the WWTC.
16:30 Chelsea v Arsenal

Draw

@3.40

Win

Chelsea were the better against Manchester United last week, but only got a point from that fixture following the 1-1 draw. Arsenal had a tough time at Newcastle last week losing 1-0 and their woes continued with a 1-0 defeat against Inter Milan in mid-week. I fancy the points being shared in this fixture.
14:00 Man Utd v Leicester

Draw

50 WIN

@5.75

Manchester United seem to be playing better following the dismissal of Erik Ten Hag. They did well to draw with Chelsea last week as the Londoners were the better side. Leicester are an erratic side, winning two, drawing four, and losing four. United are two points ahead of Leicester and will be expecting a win, but I fancy the draw as the odds are much too inviting.
14:00 Nottm Forest v Newcastle

Nottm Forest

50 WIN

Newcastle can be excellent one week and poor the next. They had a great win over Arsenal last week, but in their previous five, they lost two. Nottingham Forest sit 3rd and are on a four-timer following wins over Palace, Leicester, and West Ham. With their momentum strong, I fancy Forest can take the points in this fixture.
14:00 Tottenham v Ipswich

Tottenham

50 WIN

@1.25

Open

0

Ipswich sit second from bottom on five points, all from five draws. They travel to the TRHS to take on Tottenham, who've won four of their last six games, including a 4-1 trouncing of Aston Villa last week. I'm sure Ipswich would take the draw, but Spurs are unlikely to be in a charitable mood. Home win.
13:45 Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship

Tom McKibbin

25 EW

@56.00

Open

0

Tom McKibbin is a player on the up having won the prestigious European Open in his first season on the tour in 2023. He's gone close this season at the Italian Open finishing second after a play-off with Marcel Siem. I fancy the Irishman to finish top 6 at the HSBC in Abu Dhabi this week.
13:30 Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship

Jorge Campillo

25 EW

@67.00

Open

0

Jorge Campillo looked all over the winner at the Andalucía Masters two weeks ago, but had to settle for second spot after losing in a playoff against Frenchman Julien Guerrier that took nine extra holes. A three-time winner on the DP Tour, I'll take the Spaniard (on current form) to strongly contend in Abu Dhabi this week.

Matteo Manassero

25 EW

@51.00

Open

0

Matteo Manassero has been through the wringer in golf, losing his card after starting his career with four wins in his first four seasons. He bravely continued after his form went out the window and confidence went towards zero. After years persevering, his form slowly returned, and he celebrated a 5th career win 14 years later at the Jonsson Workwear Open in South Africa earlier this year. With his confidence back, I'll take the Italian to go close in Abu Dhabi this week.

Thriston Lawrence

25 EW

@36.00

Open

0

One of the best golfers on the DP World Tour, Thriston Lawrence is usually never far away from the business end of tournaments. The form is there as he looked all over the winner at the recent BMW PGA Championship, but was beaten in a play-off. The South African is a four-time winner on the tour, and he is sure to win many more, in my opinion. I'll take him to go close at the HSBC Championship.

20:00 Liverpool v Aston Villa

Liverpool

50 WIN

@1.44

Win

22

Having scored first at Tottenham last week, Aston Villa seemed to lose focus as Spurs dominated for most of the game, netting four times. That, and the Champions League defeat by Brugge in midweek, will have played on their collective minds. Liverpool followed the 2-1 win over Brighton last week with an impressive 4-0 home win over Bayer Leverkusen in midweek. Liverpool are the form team in the Premiership, and with home advantage, they get my backing.y
17:30 Brighton v Man City

Brighton

50 WIN

@4.50

Win

175

Losing to Bournemouth last week and walloped by Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League have left experts baffled by City's lack of rhythm of late. They're definitely missing midfield generals Rodri and De Bruyne, and while they have the Belgian player back today, coach Guardiola must be concerned. I'm backing Brighton because they never stop fighting, so with home advantage, I'll take the Seagulls to take the points.

@3.80

Lose

-50

Bournemouth haven't beaten Brentford at the GTech since 2005, with a couple of draws and two defeats from their more recent meetings. The two are close in the table, with two points separating 10th placed Bournemouth from 12th placed Brentford. It should be close, with the draw looking a likely outcome.
15:00 Crystal Palace v Fulham

Fulham

50 WIN

@2.40

Win

70

Fulham can be a tough nut to crack, and with Crystal Palace's long list of injuries a big disadvantage, I fancy Fulham will benefit. The Cottagers must have been sprinkled with luck dust, having trailed Brentford for most of the match, until extra time goals saw them take the points. I reckon they'll beat Palace this afternoon.
15:00 West Ham v Everton

Draw

50 WIN

@3.50

Win

125

West Ham are an erratic side and can't be trusted. They have home advantage over Everton today, and with the Toffees beaten 1-0 at the bottom side Southampton last week, it's hard to feel confident of either team winning. So, money's on the draw at the London Stadium.
15:00 Wolverhampton v Southampton

Draw

50 WIN

@3.90

-50

While Southampton achieved their first win of the season against Everton last week, which put Wolves holding up the table, I doubt another will ensue at Wolverhampton this afternoon. Two draws on the trot for Wolves show they're showing some signs of progress. With one point separating these two, I'm opting for a point apiece at Molineux this afternoon.

Benfica have played well in the Champions League with wins over Red Star and Atlético Madrid and a defeat at home to Feyenoord. Arsenal have their fair share of injuries and might find Inter Milan a handful. Milan drew 0-0 with Man City at the Etihad and walloped Red Star 4-0. They beat Young Boys away last CL game. Manchester United are erratic, playing great football one week and poor the next. I fancy Chelsea to get the points as their play this season has seen huge improvement.
