This is only a Class 4 handicap hurdle and a further drop in class for The Expensive One, who tried Cheltenham unsuccessfully the last twice. He might have got a lot closer but for stumbling last time. By Derby winner Harzand and not the most fluent of jumpers, but a win and a second at this level in maiden and novice hurdles show there's ability there if he can get the jumping right. From the Twiston-Davies yard and Sam rides. Relatively low in the weights on OR110.

He looked to have a lot of potential in that sphere, and though it's strange to see him moved to hurdles, he should, having been efficiently schooled, run out an easy winner in this company.
