Mezcala is well drawn in stall 30. Great Acclaim is a proven type over seven furlongs and was second of 25 at Newbury last time. These two come into consideration, but the choice is Cosi Bello, who is up just 2 lbs for his win over seven furlongs at Haydock last time and gave the impression he might even come on a bit for the outing. He's decently drawn in stall 23, so gets the vote.

Second of 13 here over 1 mile (GF) back in 2023. That was only a Class 6, but Hitched has been progressive on the all-weather since then. It's a positive that he has good form over course and distance. This is his second outing back on turf this Flat season. Last won in January 2026 (1 mile, Wolv), so a win could be due. Has won off marks of 75, 76 and 78 on the all-weather, so this OR 76 looks good. Easier race than last time, I think. He's a good horse to follow. Danny Muscutt takes the ride today for trainer David Simcock.

Excellent. Believe was well backed into favourite on a recent outing at Leopardstown and, despite being re-shod before the race, finished well to take third. Some smart form in the book and this is his first handicap start since winning over seven furlongs at Haydock last August. Toby Moore (SR 29%) claims a very useful 7 lbs for trainer Jack Channon. The 4yo has won three of nine starts and was second to the smart Zeus Olympios in a Group 3 back in September. Ascot could suit. A few recent defeats in her career leave Minnie Hauk at odds of 11-2. She will probably come on for her first outing this season, and she needs to if she is to have a say. She is possibly well suited by a strongly run ten furlongs (likely to have a pacemaker). She has shown tenacity and the ability to battle on and win in the past. This 4yo filly by Frankel won the Oaks last year and was a head second in the Arc. Trained by Aidan O'Brien (SR 25%) and ridden by Ryan Moore (SR 22%), Minnie Hauk looks a value bet at this price.
