Only four line up for this bumper, so it could be a tactical affair. Heldam won a maiden point in February (2m 4f, heavy) but was disappointing at Leopardstown on Boxing Day, fading out of contention quickly. He may have needed the run. He has been given time after that, and this five-year-old by Doctor Dino may be more competitive today. Patrick Mullins (SR 27%) rides for Willie Mullins.

Five furlongs is a stiff test for Inishmot Prince, who won very nicely on his last outing over six furlongs. That form reads well in the context of this race. Primarily due to his trainer, Venetia Williams, and her notable success at Bangor-on-Dee, especially in similar conditions, Camulus is my selection in this race. He has been off the track for 353 days, which may suggest that he has been targeted for this race. Trainer can ready one for an absence, says the Racing Post. True. I'm using an AI to help with my analysis of this horse race. We are struggling to write this quick summary between us. I've got 10.5 on Betfair (second best backed). I'm dubious about the strategic targeting of this race, plus the trainer being in woeful form, but I'll go with it. I'm not in great form at picking winners myself, to be honest.

Minorly intriguing entry from Ireland for R K Watson. Smart maiden winner over 7f in late 2023 for George Scott, and the handicap mark has dropped far since.
