Hot little race for a six-furlong Class 6 handicap. First runner for the new training partnership of Richard and son Peter Fahey is Ziggys Angel, a four-year-old son of Dark Angel who has won over seven furlongs but has also run well here before. Hasn't had many goes and returns from wind surgery. Decent draw in stall 7. Chance.

Eight-year-old Pop Favorite has been slowly away on the last six occasions and has kept on to run respectably despite these slow starts. Eight career wins achieved from 83 AW starts, so has the ability. Stays a mile well and generally wants a strongly run race. Third try in succession over 1 mile at Southwell. Makes minor appeal at 33s. Will likely put it all together sometime soonish. Scott Dixon trained.
