A three-runner race. Threshold showed something to work with on debut but is probably one for handicaps later on and Anwen has shown very little ability. Eliza Bennet has run second on four occasions including twice over course and distance. This Kodiac filly trained by James Fanshawe is nothing special but this race looks very winnable and she's the obvious one.

Marnier is unlikely to get easier opportunities than this to get on the scoresheet. The Frankel filly Shayhana is interesting but 1m4f looks a stretch on pedigree especially on seasonal debut. Coisty has very poor form and it looks ultimately a two horse race. The selection Marnier is trained by the Gosdens (SR 23%) and decently bred (by Saxon Warrior). Ran well when third in a Class 2 on debut. Two second place efforts at a similar trip to this in four races since. On balance has enough experience to win.

Second in the 2023 Irish Cambridgeshire again over course and distance off OR91, which is today's mark. Has run well and looked unlucky on occasions this season. Good effort over ten furlongs last time in a strong race, but this drop back in trip will suit. Has to be considered and looks backable at odds of 12.0. Billy Lee rides.
