Flash Bardot has previously run well fresh. Ready winner of a Class 3 handicap over 1m4f on seasonal debut last year from OR85. Rose Dawes claims 5lbs off of the 87 rating this year. Trainer Jack Channon (SR 42%) in strong form currently and jockey rode a winner from last two rides. The 5yo mare still looks well handicapped. Continued to progress last season. This may be a slightly delayed return and it's a hot race but got to be respected. Good all weather form.

Interesting contender in a bumper at Stratford. Twiston-Davies yard has had success in this sphere of racing. Pulled too hard and ran poorly in two bumpers last year. Started at 10-1 in the first of those. Could be much more ready almost a year later. From a decent family which has won races for this yard (related to Colin's Brother and Colin's Sister). Big price at 66-1 in a race like this.

I'm not sure about the odds of 2-1. That's short for a handicap. Smart winner on soft at Haydock 6f just over a year ago beating Kodi Lion 2 lengths there (it was a strong handicap). Followed that with a win at Salisbury and neck second at Doncaster. Strange the stable hasn't tried this filly in higher grade company as she obviously has ability. Still well handicapped off OR84 (not even top weight) and has a big shout.

Just one hurdle outing for the yard over 2m1f at Wexford last month. This is a big step up in trip but, by Nathaniel, Club Manager might come good for it.
