Hawk Mountain is top on official figures. He made all to win the final three of four starts last year, comfortably winning the Group 2 Beresford Stakes at the Curragh and, latterly, holding on from stablemates on heavy ground to win the Futurity. Good ground mightn't be his ideal conditions, and he's drifted in the market, but he could be tough to get past. Ryan Moore (SR 20%) rides for Aidan O'Brien.

The pair were successful with a 50-1 winner in yesterday's Nell Gwyn. Quinault made all to win the £168K Dukhan Sprint Cup over six furlongs at Doha last time, beating some good sorts there. Springtime isn't usually the best time to catch this one, but he does appeal at odds of 8-1. This Oasis Dream gelding is still just six years old.

Take a chill pill. Holds a Derby entry, which is interesting and a positive sign. Runs for James Owen's stable in the familiar colours of the Gredley family, and Luke Morris rides. An open handicap contest. Brains' last win was achieved over 1 mile here on good ground and OR60 in March last year, but that was the last time Shane Foley rode him. Carries 9-12 but is down to a mark of OR56 now. Always dangerous and, back from a short break since a lame all-weather effort last time, the ten-year-old (who won races off marks of 79, 82 and 82 in younger years) is hard to rule out.

While she will need to be a little more alert and ready than on her first two outings over course and distance here, Act of Kindness can be played at odds of 4-1 for the win. Cost 3,700,000 guineas as a yearling. Ran green on debut and was two lengths behind Mubasimah there. Stepped up on that to win sweetly on her second start. Nice pedigree by Siyouni out of a Shamardal mare. Can be expected to progress further, and the current form of Charlie Appleby's (SR 50%) stable demands respect.

Good ground is a concern, but Coppola has run second on both runs since joining Gordon Elliott's yard and has looked like stepping up in trip might help on each occasion. The 9 lb difference at today's weights with Cozone (who beat the mare convincingly last time) should also help significantly. Brings good recent form and doesn't look likely to have to wait too long to score off a current mark of 84. Pedigree is all about stamina (by Flemensfirth out of an Old Vic dam), so three miles might do the trick.

Unseated rider in a mares' maiden hurdle last week and wasn't fancied (went off at 15-2). Form-wise, however, Cool Native ran a big race when third at Navan in November (in front of last week's hot favourite Salsinha, also trained by Henry De Bromhead). Further complicated by the fact that Cool Native was beaten a length and a half by Miss Doyenne in a maiden point over 3 miles in January 2025. Meets that rival on 13 pounds better terms today. The form points to Gordon Elliott-trained Cool Native as the likely winner, though the market is much less clear.

Useful over hurdles; he has won 6 of 14 starts under Rules. Poor round of jumping in the Thyestes and kept out the back in the Leinster National, but the longest odds available of the Willie Mullins posse here. Quiet season of just three starts so far. This looks decidedly tricky, and a chance is taken on Henry de Bromhead-trained 7yo mare Air Of Entitlement. Winner of the 24-runner Martin Pipe at Cheltenham, she carried 11-10 to win that race over 2m4f. The mares' allowance here helps gain 7 lb against others in the field.
