Four runs this winter, nothing went right in the first three of those runs, but he finally completed a race three weeks ago when he was a good 2nd of 15 in a useful £52K handicap, 4L clear of the rest. Something to build on, and the easier ground is a plus. He should be a big player in this £15K handicap hurdle.

She was only beaten a length over this course and distance five weeks ago in a Grade 1, after coming back from an eight-month break. The winner that day??"who she meets again in this contest??"had the benefit of a prep run. I like the fact that the selection was a wide-margin winner in a bumper and a Listed hurdle on heavy ground earlier in her career.

He was beaten by just a short head in the Grade 1 King George on Boxing Day on good ground and is in good shape. He’ll be more suited by this very testing ground. The 8-year-old was a good 3rd of 12 in this valuable handicap last year, with an error at the last fence. He is 3 lb better off now. He’s in good shape, was runner-up in a strong contest two starts back, and was never in trouble five weeks ago when winning a Class 2 handicap by 3L. He looks set for a big run in this Class 2 handicap.
