Three career runs for the 3yo filly. A big step up in trip and a turf debut five weeks ago. She never landed a blow but she saw the race out. It looked like a well above-average £14K Ascot maiden race. She could be better than her opening 65 handicap mark today and could go well at a big price in this Class 6 contest.
20:00 Mexico v South Africa

Mexico

50 WIN

Host Mexico have been playing well in the last year, just 2 defeats in 21, and have been mixing it with some good South American sides. They also had draws against Portugal and Belgium. I feel they are another level up from the African sides.

03:00 South Korea v Czechia

Czechia

50 WIN

Not a lot between these two sides, but I like the spirit that the Czech side showed in the play-offs, beating both Ireland and Denmark back in March. That togetherness and competitive edge can see them get a result against Korea, who have only played friendly games in the last year.

The 3yo is turned out quickly after a big run last week but is worth a punt. He was 2nd of 9 over this 10f trip, in a useful £39K Class 2 handicap and 3L clear of the rest. Same mark for this handicap and is dropping down to a £7K Class 4 contest. The rain that is falling on Thursday will boost his chances.

The 3yo has 1 win from 5. A decent run last month ??" 3rd of 9 after coming off a seven-month break ??" and should be better for the run. He was too keen when making the running that day and tired late on. The winner was raised 9 lb for the win, and the 4th won a race last week. Could be a big player if he settles better.

Just three career runs for the 3yo colt. Third in both his starts this year. Both races were strong-looking novice stakes. His opening handicap mark looks fair based on those two runs, with plenty of room for improvement. Strong jockey change for this contest.

The 4yo filly has 1 win from 7. She was a good third in a stronger handicap three weeks ago. That was her debut for a new yard after coming off an eight-month break. It's something to build on, and she's fine with the slower ground.

The 3yo was a good runner-up on his second handicap start two weeks ago, just his fifth career run, and he can progress. Same mark for this handicap and in much better hands now.

The 7yo is not easy to catch right, but he's useful on his day. Hopefully three return runs will have him sharper now. He ran some nice races in defeat last year racing off a much higher mark, including a 5th of 18 over this 10.5f C/D in the £103K John Smith's Cup handicap last summer off an 11 lb higher mark. He could go well in this £12K Class 4 contest.

The 3yo filly has 2 wins from 9. She found it all a bit quick two weeks ago but was not disgraced, and this slower ground could help her. She was staying on at the finish that day. Lower mark now, good apprentice in the saddle, and she's effectively a huge 10 lb better off now, which should give her a chance.
20:00 Canada v Bosnia Herzegovina

Bosnia Herzegovina

50 WIN

Canada have just one defeat in the last 12 months. However, they haven't been playing good sides. They've drawn plenty and they don't score many. Bosnia beat Wales and Italy in the playoff during March to reach the final and will be giving little away. I feel Canada, being the host nation, might get a little too adventurous in their play and Bosnia can take advantage.

Two runs this year for the 6yo, beaten just over a length two weeks ago, and seems in good shape. Looks nicely treated at the weights, going off previous form. Good jockey booked for this amateur riders' handicap, and he claims a useful 3 lb.

02:00 USA v Paraguay

Paraguay

50 WIN

Hard to work out how well the USA are playing. 10 friendly matches since last summer: 5 wins, 4 defeats. They'll be under plenty of pressure being the home nation, and they might overcommit. I like the fact that Paraguay conceded just 10 goals in their 18 group games, and they could sneak a win in this fixture.
20:00 Qatar v Switzerland

Switzerland -1.75

Asian Hcap

50 WIN

Qatar are one of the big outsiders, and their qualifying form doesn't provide much confidence. Switzerland scored plenty in reaching the finals, and they can make the handicap in this match.
23:00 Brazil v Morocco

Morocco

50 WIN

Brazil are only feared on past reputations. They only finished 5th in their qualifying group. Not great at the back, and they failed to win in 10 of 18 matches. Morocco have been busy in the last year ??" World Cup, Arab Cup, AFCON ??" and they are unbeaten in their last 25 matches. They can cause an upset in this match.

02:00 Haiti v Scotland

Scotland & Yes

Result and BTTS

50 WIN

Scotland will be expected to win this match against the low-ranking Haiti side, but the Caribbean side have tended to get on the scoresheet in their matches during the last 12 months. Scotland win, but BTTS.
05:00 Australia v Turkiye

Turkiye

50 WIN

Australia do tend to beat the weak sides but struggle against anyone half-decent. Turkey have been good in the last year. They had to win two play-off games to reach the finals, but they did so without conceding a goal in those two games. Australia will struggle to break them down.
18:00 Germany v Curacao

Germany -3.50

Asian Hcap

50 WIN

It's just a question of how many goals Germany will score against rank outsiders Curaçao. I'll take Germany to win on the handicap market.
21:00 Netherlands v Japan

Draw

50 WIN

The Dutch beat the easier teams in qualifying, but they failed to beat Poland home and away. Two recent friendly games were uninspiring. Japan might surprise them. They've won their last six matches. They beat England in March, and they will run after the ball all day.
15th June 2026
00:00 Ivory Coast v Ecuador

Ecuador

50 WIN

Ivory Coast have played well in recent friendly games, but they now face a very strong defence. Ecuador finished second in their qualifying group and conceded an amazing just 5 goals in 18 games against sides like Argentina and Brazil. They can sneak a win in this match.
03:00 Sweden v Tunisia

Sweden

50 WIN

Sweden didn't have a great campaign, but they did reach the finals after winning two playoff games, in which they scored 3 goals in each match. They should be too strong against a low-ranked Tunisia side.
17:00 Spain v Cape Verde

Spain -2.50

Asian Hcap

50 WIN

This match looks very one-sided on paper, and Spain could easily put up a good number against this Cape Vede side who's island pop is just 520K and are 2000/1 with Bet365 to win the world cup. (They won't be doing a Leicester)
20:00 Belgium v Egypt

Belgium

50 WIN

Apart from Salah, the Egyptian side offer very little going forward. Belgium have a good, experienced side who shouldn't have too many problems winning this match.
23:00 Saudi Arabia v Uruguay

Uruguay & Yes

Result and BTTS

50 WIN

Uruguay haven't been in great form, but the South American side should have too much quality against the low-ranked Saudi side. Although it won't be all one-sided, the Saudis could sneak a goal.
