I've been betting for about 25 years and have worked for bookmakers and in sports admin so I've had close connections with sport and gambling for quite a long time. I've tried punting in various sports and found that I have most success on National Hunt horseracing (particularly handicap chases of 2 and half miles or over), snooker and golf. I've come to realise that I should keep betting on football and flat racing (with the possible exception of 2 mile handicaps) down to a minimum.

Surpised to see Walden favourite here. Undoubtedly he is the more fluent player but Selt arrives here in much the better from in my opinion. Selt made the QF of the Saudi Arabia Masters only losing out 5-4 to Ronnie O'Sullivan so he is obviously playing well. Walden has suffered two recent defeats to players ranked a fair bit lower than him (64 ranked Liu Hongyu and Mustafa Dorgham rated 89). Walden suffers with back problems so it's impossible to know how much that issue is a factor from match to match. The H2H between the two is 2-2 with the last meeting going to Selt 4-3. I can see another close match with Selt just edging it.
