A previous high-class performer and winner of the Queen Alexandra Stakes at Royal Ascot, he showed remarkable speed and acceleration in the Moscow Flyer Novice Hurdle, securing victory by five and a half lengths on his first hurdle start after a summer break. While his speed is unquestionable, he displayed some inexperience and a tendency to look at the hurdles early during his win at Punchestown. If he can improve his jumping form and adapt to the nature of a big field in a Cheltenham race, he has a solid opportunity to finish in the places at favourable odds.

He has marked a successful season over fences, winning the Grade 2 Berkshire Novices' Chase at Kempton. His stamina was further validated with a convincing win over 3 miles at Ayr in January, which acted as his final preparation for the Festival. He narrowly finished 5th in the Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle last year, indicating that the track is favourable for him, making him a strong contender for a top-4 finish at reasonable odds.

The 7-year-old showcased impressive talent as a novice last season, finishing close behind The New Lion in the Turner's Novices' Hurdle, with a close 2nd in a Grade 1 event at last year's Festival, and a pedigree rich in stamina. He has to be viewed as a top contender in this race, making the 9/1 odds quite appealing each-way.

Highly equipped for this Festival, coming in as a solid contender to defend his title in the Glenfarclas Cross Country Chase. He is known for his relaxed nature and ability to travel smoothly. Expected to be in peak form.

Targeted for this race, trainer Henry de Bromhead was eager to enter him, though he hasn't raced in a year following his fall in this race last year.
