A big-field handicap hurdle but not much form on show. Feet On The Ground has finished in the first three places in five of her eight outings over hurdles. This mare has been knocking on the door as runner-up in her last two starts. She stepped up in distance last time, so today's trip should suit. Feet On The Ground has also gone well on the sharp, flat track at Southwell and at the right-handed Market Rasen course. Hereford should suit. Her career-best effort came on soft ground, and she looks the most likely contender to reach the first four places at an each-way price.

Dash Power was going well at this time a year ago with a win and three second-placed runs for Lawrence Mullaney. A change of stable followed but, up in the weights, another win was not forthcoming. Now back with Lawrence Mullaney, the horse showed something like his best form with a second of thirteen behind R P McMurphy over today's course and distance in December. Sean Kirrane was on board and regains the ride today. Not so good at Southwell next time, but his best form has been at Wolverhampton. Today Dash Power is five pounds better off with R P McMurphy but is a much longer price. On his last winning mark, Dash Power can make the four places at big odds.
