Will Teasle's Tips

Macho Sun

Daily Racing

100 WINNAP

Macho Sun is likely to go off at big odds. He represents trainer Mike Sowersby, who saddled a runner to place at 80/1 on Wednesday. More of a flat-bred type, Macho Sun may be suited by the sharp Sedgefield track. He needs to improve but is a half-brother to two winners and from a decent family. The granddam produced useful winning jumper Albuhera and the French and Irish 2000 Guineas winner Bachir.

Chase A Fortune

Daily Racing

100 WINNB

Chase A Fortune is rising in the weights, but that is down to his improved form in his latest two starts. In five visits to Sedgefield, the horse has placed second on four occasions. Best over today's distance on a soft surface, he can go well again.

The Enabler

Daily Racing

100 EW

The Enabler represents the powerful Gigginstown House Stud/Gordon Elliott combination. In his three races over fences, the horse has shown himself to be a better performer over the bigger obstacles. He goes well on a galloping track, with a standout career-best performance at Fairyhouse. The Enabler steps up in distance to 24.5 furlongs, and it looks from his pedigree as if this will suit. Conditions appear right for a good run for his stable, which saddled a Cheltenham winner on Saturday.

Aill Dubh

Daily Racing

50 WIN

Aill Dubh has his third outing over fences. The horse tries a much longer distance than in his previous two outings, and this can suit. He has won a three-mile point. Aill Dubh recorded a career-best hurdling performance on soft ground at Sligo, and today's going can suit. The horse returned last month after an absence of more than a year and may have needed his two runs for his new stable, as well as time to acclimatise following his move from Ireland. Dropped six pounds in the weights compared to his chasing debut, Aill Dubh has got in here off a low weight, further reduced by the three-pound claim of Alice Stevens, who can do 10-1. Trainer Micky Hammond saddled a winner on Thursday.
