I'm a sports and betting enthusiast and love trying to solve the puzzle of big handicaps both on the flat and over the jumps. The majority of my tips are double figure prices and I rarely back the favourites. I'm always looking for value and try to post the tips the evening before to get the early prices. Twitter @JamPizza

Most punters would gloss over this 5 furlong race for Jumps jockeys but there's often value to be had with the longshots and that could be the case here. Charlie Deutsch actually has a better record on the flat (in Bumpers) than he does over hurdles and his mount here is in form and actually really well handicapped since he was racing off marks around 10lb higher last Summer. He was even only beaten just over 2 lengths in a Group 3 when trained in France and gets in here off just 75.

This horse is a model of consistency and will be hard to keep out of the frame here with a strong jockey booked and coming here off the back of an excellent 2nd of 26 over c&d. The horse is 2lb higher now but has a great draw and I like the switch in jockey too. Clearly these conditions are ideal and whilst he's not streets ahead of the handicapper, I think he holds every chance in an open race where I'd have New Image as his main rival.
