I'm a sports and betting enthusiast and love trying to solve the puzzle of big handicaps both on the flat and over the jumps. The majority of my tips are double figure prices and I rarely back the favourites. I'm always looking for value and try to post the tips the evening before to get the early prices. Twitter @JamPizza

Dubai Treasure

Daily Racing

50 WIN

Despite the hike in the handicap, I think Dubai Treasure might have the class to win this, with 14/1 shot Mr King perhaps the one to chase her home. This well-bred filly hacked up in her maiden last year and was then sent off as the favorite for her handicap debut last time out when winning easily again. She's been hit by a big rise after that easy win and races off 95 now. If you look at her 2nd as a 2-year-old on debut, though, she had a 105-rated horse in front of her and a 103-rated horse behind in third, so she could well be up to winning this. She also holds an entry into an ultra-competitive class 2 handicap at Ascot, which her main rivals here aren't thought good enough for.

Nogos Dream

Daily Racing

50 WINNAP

Many will fancy Grandlad to reverse the form with Nogos Dream last time out with a 4lb swing. But I liked the way this horse put the race to bed, and I think he was very good value for that win and can follow it up here. The booking of Ryan Moore also catches the eye since he's only been booked once before on the horse, which was a comfortable success. The horse also ran well on his only previous run here when 2nd, and he should go very close here.

This one is friendless in the early market but looks to have a serious chance to me with one of the very best booked in this apprentice race. His 3 runs on decent ground have resulted in a win and two 2nds where he was never beaten by more than a length. The trip could be his optimal one too, so if the first-time cheekpieces squeeze out some further improvement, this horse looks the one that could give the more fancied horses the most to do.

The cat is out of the bag with just how good value Elizabeth Gale is for her 5lb claim, and that could make all the difference in this competitive handicap. I think the trainer knew he had a smart horse on his hands when it hacked up on debut for him on fast ground, and I suspect he's been eyeing up a big summer handicap ever since. So hopefully, it's this one. This horse was heavily eased for that win where the 2nd is a 72-rated horse and was getting 21lb from this horse in that novice race. Therefore, his handicap mark of 90 with the jockey taking off 5lb suggests he could be very competitive here.

Blue Day

Daily Racing

25 EWNB

I like to see course form here, and Blue Day was very impressive when winning over C&D on his only previous run here. He's 7lb higher now but went down by half a length off a 1lb lower mark just 2 starts ago. A return to this C&D should see him go close again. The same jockey is rebooked, and the horse even has a similar draw, so it will hopefully be more of the same.
