22/1 seems like a decent enough price for the selection who is 3 wins from 4 races in chases in his lifetime. Lightly raced for a 9yo having had just 9 races so far. Doesn't mind a bit of cut and the recent run can be forgiven following a year or so off before that, it was a hurdle race and over too long a trip, ran well for the first 2 miles... HAs won off this mark before and the jockey claim will prove useful. Seems a bit of value in an open enough looking race.

with 4 places it might be worthwhile backing this 12/1 shot for a place. They reach for some new headgear and this horse has breeding that suggests this might be an ok trip despite it not having won over it before. Things that I like are the jockey who has won 5 times on this horse from 6 rides, and that he has won off a higher mark in the past. I liked those at the top of the market, particularly wyld bill, but he's drawn in the car park and his jockey is not having a good time lately...
