Liverpool properly start their pre-season this evening in the USA against Spanish outfit Real Betis. This will be a test for the Reds who haven't had the smoothest of starts under their new manager with a host of star players away on international duty and now on their holidays. They lost the first game with a dis jointed side agaisnt Preston 1-0 and I think Betis maybe ahead in their pr-season preprations.

Betis were pretty impressive thrashing Salzburg in their first pre-season game and are probably ahead of Liverpool in their pre-season due to not having many players at either the Euro's or Copa America. I don't think Liverpool will be very sharp but which ever way this goes I think there should be goals.
