Legion Gold slot is instantly recognisable as a Play' n GO title. That's not bad. Still, players who are au fait with this provider will spot the win notification mechanic straight away if not the typical 4 or more symbol requirement line up for at least stake back, leaving the reel requiring multiple winning lines in most cases to provide a profitable spin.

The theme is not new, and the symbols are not unique, but it has a very fresh and new feel about it. The music is not too intrusive.

It was also typically 'Play 'n GO' in feeling busy and like there were lots of winning spins, but in fact I was losing quite rapidly. I like this game, not a classic by any means, but a game I can come back to.

Even the relatively early activation of the free spins couldn’t save me from the lousy score at the end of my 100-spin test. I was pretty excited when I launched the round of five free spins on the twelfth spin because I already had a few base game wins. Still, it turned out that this round was a big nothing burger – I didn’t win a single dime.

I noticed many small wins throughout the test spins, which became more significant when the Wilds were involved. I didn’t start the re-spins round even though I was close.
