I think I need a lie-down. The Deck of Scurra slot is definitely an odd game, which fully gripped me from the moment I stepped into the secret parlour. Very suspenseful and mysterious, hats off to Print Studios for creating another unique-looking game.

With playing cards representing the symbols, I did feel like I was in a murder mystery sometimes. The excellent soundtrack just adds to the tension and anticipation. I did feel like I was in an episode of The Traitors.

With cascades for continuous wins, I love how the winning playing card symbols are swept away. With each win, Alteration Cards are revealed and collected: the Alteration Cards will then apply. Coronation Cards upgrade low-value cards to high-value cards whilst Lunar Cards change 1 or all suits for bigger wins. I particularly like the Crow Cards as these increase the number of ways to win.

In the Evolving Deck Bonus feature, you will benefit from up to 12 symbol cards plus 9 Alteration Cards. Importantly, all card alterations are permanent which can result in huge max wins if the cards fall in your favour. I like how suspenseful Deck of Scurra is: you will need to play this game a few times to get what is going on. At times, I found myself lost in the soundtrack. It is also hard to keep up with the action as the card alterations are subtle and sophisticated.
