Will Smith v Chris Rock fight at 33/1!

Sunday's Oscars ceremony was undoubtedly overshadowed by Will Smith's attack on Comedian Chris Rock, who was presenting an award at the show.

Rock made a joke about Smith's wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, and this caused Smith to jump up onto the stage and slap Rock across the face.

Bookmakers are already giving odds on a potential fight happening between the pair this year, with odds of 33/1 that they have a Boxing Match at some point in 2022.

Will Smith won Best Actor at the Oscars on Sunday for his role as Richard Williams in the film 'King Richard' and he likened his performance to the situation with Rock.

"Art imitates life, I look like the crazy father, just like they said," said Smith, talking about the slap in comparison to his role in 'King Richard' while Venus and Serena Williams were in the crowd.

Smith released a statement apologising to Rock on Monday evening, while Rock hasn't pressed charges according to LA Police on Monday.

Oprah appearance could be on cards

The big question on everyone's lips is what exactly happens next for both Will Smith and Chris Rock.

Rock had previously made a joke about Smith's wife Jada in his Oscars monologue while presenting the awards show in 2016 and this may have contributed to Smith's outburst.

Oprah Winfrey has long since been the Queen of interviews in America and her conversations with celebrities tend to be big events worldwide too.

Her interview with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry was one of the big television events of 2021.

Oprah's fame could make her first in line for any sort of interview that Will Smith and Chris Rock have and the bookies have it at 10/1 that she interviews the pair this year.

WWE Event with Smith v Rock could happen in 2022?

The WWE are no stranger to having celebrities in their events and that could well be the potential destination for a Will Smith v Chris Rock fight.

Johnny Knoxville is the latest celeb to appear on the WWE roster, with a matchup at Wrestlemania on the cards for him in April.

Logan Paul is also featuring at this year's Wrestlemania and with the money the WWE offer they could well scramble for a Rock v Smith scrap.

With odds of 20/1 though, bookmakers are giving just a 4.8% chance of the pair appearing at a WWE event at some point this year.

The WWE are no strangers to a celebrity appearance in their shows and Chris Rock vs Will Smith could well be the latest in a long line. At odds of 20/1, bookmakers feel their is a slight chance of this happening.
