Reports in Bloomberg say that GTA 6 will be announced this week

Business publication Bloomberg reported on Wednesday morning that Rockstar Games plans to announce Grand Theft Auto VI imminently.

Their sources say that people familiar with the games plans say that the game will be announced as early as this week.

The trailer for the game is set to drop next month in December to mark 25 years of Rockstar Games with the excitement surrounded GTA 6 at an all-time high.

Our previous piece gave 25% chance that GTA 6 was revealed before the end of the year

OLBG have previously looked at the chances of GTA 6's release date coming out before the end of the year with 3/1 odds given in the past.

It looks increasingly likely though that those 3/1 odds will be coming in after those latest reports from Bloomberg above.

The previous odds suggested that there was a 25% probability of Rockstar Games announcing the official launch date of the game at some point before 1st January 2024.
