In a press release published on 27 February this year, the BBC confirmed that Season Two of The Traitors will be made after the first Season was a massive hit.
According to that press release, The Traitors is 'the biggest brand new entertainment launch for the BBC in 2 years' with more than 34m views on BBC iPlayer at that time.
