I've spent over 20 years inside the betting industry. I'll guide you to avoid the hype, ignore the noise, and steer clear of the common pitfalls that catch out everyday punters.

  • First Responders 4/9 to win Time Award according to bookmakers.
  • WHO is the second favorite with betting sites before moving into individuals
  • Biden, Fauchi and Harris all represent US Politics in the betting
  • Black Lives Matter Slipped down the betting to 12/1 with bookies

The Time Person of the year is due to be announced this week, and for the third time in five years it is expected to be a group of people rather than an individual that will be furnished with the honor, this time, Doctors, Nurses and First Responders in wake of the ongoing epidemic crisis.

Shortly behind them in the betting, The World Health Organisation has been made second favourites with betting sites before we run into the next three individuals all representing US Politics with joe, Biden, Kamala Harris and Anthony Fauci taking up consecutive spots in the betting markets.

The Time Award looks to be heading in the direction of a group of people for the third time in 5 years as Doctors nurses and First Responders are bookmakers 4/9 favourites to scoop the honour this week.

Eventually, once we have run through them, we get to Black Lives Matter who were competing for favouritism with bookies earlier in the year but have since slipped right down the betting and now sit at 12/1, their chance of the honour seemingly gone.

Time Person of the Year Betting Odds

Black Lives Matter 12/1 7.69%

Betting on the Time Person of the year and who the potential winner or winners might be, continues all year long with the award finally being made in December.

The magazine and website Time has annually named Person of the Year (since 2000), which is a special issue that focuses on, profiles, and honors one person, group, idea, or object who "for better or for worse... has had the most impact on the events of the year. The award was formerly known as Man of the Year or Woman.

US Politics picked up the award last year with Biden Harris sharing the honour, with Fauci in the mix this year too, it will most likely go to either the first responders or WHO in relation to the ongoing epidemic as predicted by short odds with betting odds.

Previous Time Person of the Year Winners

Joe Boden and Kamala Harris were given the honour in 2020, so it would seem unlikely they could double up with consecutive wins, either collectively or together again.
